Is there a way to setup custom Tax tables in Payroll if you're a Non-US customer?
We are in process of implementing Acumatica. We currently use ExakTime to capture and report labor activities in the field. I’m trying to get an understanding of what details/fields ExakTime provides for upload into Acumatica. We are scheduling a call with ExakTime to discuss but thought I’d reach out on here to see if anyone has experience with the Acumatica/ExakTime integration.
An unhandled exception has occurred in the function 'Move Next". Please see trace log for details. This error is happening when I try to file the 2021 941/Schedule B/941-V Report &MI UIA 1028 eFile Report. All other taxes I’ve filed have no issues through Aatrix. Thank you!
Is there any documentation explaining what all of the options are on the payroll company tax settings? I’m specifically looking for an explanation of what the “Rounding Option: Set to True to round calculations” for the FED payroll tax.
In the Pennsylvania local tax settings, what is the explanation for the use of the “Employer has nexus relationship with the location” setting? There is no additional information in the tax settings column to define this.
I am not sure if every union is like this but in the midwest they have a layoff Payoff rule. So if you are laid off a job you have to be paid when you leave the job. In payroll with set weekly periods, there is no place to modify the check date even if it is within the period. Is the answer to set up a new calendar or am I overlooking the ability to modify the check date when a weekly period end calendar is used Thank You
I am using Acumatica Payroll with Construction. I am not seeing the union benefits along with the raw hourly rate by hours being distributed to job cost jobs. I have reviewed all the settings and do not see any action that would facilitate this process. Any suggestions. Thank you in advance
One of our clients has reported that they have been unable to add a new line to the Compensation tab to establish a new pay rate their employees. We are able to search, find and select the pay type, but when doing so, it appears as though the pay type code doesn’t validate. By this I mean that neither the pay type description, nor the available Unit of Pay options populate on the line. Has anyone run into this in the past?
I am looking for a way to add the Unit for piecework earnings codes on the paystub. I don’t care if the column is blank for non piecework earning types. Does anybody know if this is possible or how to do this?
Some of you may have noticed a new field above 5a on the 941 for 2021 listed in Government Reporting. The extra field above 5a was added to show the breakdown in SS Wages. Because any COVID pay for leave taken prior to April 1st is not included in line 5a, but COVID pay for leave taken after April 1st is, our tax form company wanted to give you a way to see the breakdown between "regular" SS Wages and COVID SS wages. This does not affect the filing of the report. The report will probably change back in 3rd quarter. If you have any questions, please let us know.
The Washington state CPR form has been removed from the Government Reporting screen as the Aatrix Development team is currently making adjustments to the form. It will added back to the list by the end of the week, at the latest. If you are currently using Aatrix for filing this report - please submit a case with Aatrix. They are working with all those who are currently affected by the removal of the form and with processing any current or previously submitted filings. Contact Aatrix at HelpMe@Aatrix.com. Please include your full company name and EIN for proper verification. Or submit your information via Live Chat. Any questions, please contact me. Denise

A new form is available in the Government Reporting > Show only Federal formsThis form is to be used ONLY for the re-payment of SS Tax Deferred in 2020. These SS Tax re-payments cannot be processed with the normal Federal Tax Payment (EFTPS) as they have to be entered separately by Aatrix during submission. If you currently eFile with our integrated tax forms provider, you will simply enter the amount of re-payment for the Employee and Employer portions of the SS Tax deferred and the period from which the deferment took place. Best Payroll to All, Denise
Has anyone else experienced incorrect time zones being logged in the timecard from Appointment Logs? We are seeing incorrect time zones even for the same customer on the same day. I have reported this and the suggested solution is to manually change our settings on our mobile devices. Development team does not think this is an issue and is not moving forward to fix. If it is happening to others we need to get it reported.
Is there an arrangement for Acumatica Payroll to work with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO)? If so, is there one that works today with Acumatica? We have a client that use one and would like the PEO to continue to produce the Paychecks.

Acumatica Payroll users: Two new forms have been added to the Government Reporting > Federal forms list. EE0-1 Component 1 Form Equal Employment Opportunity Employer Information Report 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 Component 1 Data EEO-1 Component 2 Form Equal Employment Opportunity Employer Information Report EEO-1 Component 2 Data We will be reviewing the forms after the 2021 R2 release and adding any new fields needed to complete the form, if possible. For now, the forms are available to be filled in manually and are part of your Quarterly eFile package.
I’m not sure if this is a glitch in Acumatica or a setup issue on our end. Bank reconciliation is showing the direct deposit batch total as one line on the bank rec (which is how we have it setup in the bank and what we want) and no individual pay stubs; but once the bank rec is released, the individual pay stubs show in bank transaction details as cleared but not reconciled. In next reconciliation the individual pay checks show up for some reason as ready to be reconciled with the cleared box checked. Users cannot reconcile the individual pay stubs because they have already reconciled the whole direct deposit batch in the previous reconciliation. It is like a flip gets switched once the direct deposit batch is reconciled and released that marks the pay stubs as cleared but not reconciled and then allows individual the pay stubs to then show up in the bank rec. I can’t figure out why the individual pay stubs are 1-not being marked reconciled when the full batch is reconciled, and 2-why
During the payroll training this week their was a discussion about the general ledger accounts for earnings expense, tax expense and benefit expense being driven by a project. I was wondering if in the design, you will be supporting non-construction based projects or only the construction edition? From what was discussed, it sounded like these accounts would come from the cost centers, which I don’t think is part of the standard project edition. As a follow up, it would be helpful to provide some level of coding for “x” projects. If the accounts are going to be based on projects where do the non- project costs go?
I have multiple companies under one tenant that are all processing payroll under their individual federal tax IDs. Where do I store the individual company’s state withholding and unemployment IDs?From my understanding, the details are on the Company Setup during the Aatrix processing of reports but where are these details stored to tell Aatrix what to put on these reports?
Does anyone know if the "Time Card is Required" flag on the Employee (Organization) screen has any functionality behind it or if it is just there for informational purposes? I have not seen anything in payroll requiring a time card, but I didn't know if there was a warning or error produced somewhere else in the system if that flag is on and no time card is entered.
Background:We have UKG Ready for Time & Attendance (old Kronos) We have UKG Pro for Payroll (old UltiPro) We have IDI Contractor Central for job costing, prevailing wage, and certified jobs We use cost over cost (input method) accounting for revenue recognitionProblem: what is the best method for accounting for labor costs and payroll costs in Acumatica?Solution 1:Feed timesheet and payroll data to IDI. Have IDI calculate fully burdened project labor costs. Upload project labor costs from IDI to Acumatica in an off balance account group that doesn’t hit the G/L Upload direct labor payroll and benefit costs from UKG Pro to Direct Labor accounts as journal transactions, NOT project transactions. Upload indirect labor payroll and benefits costs from UKG Pro to SG&A via journal transactions.Solution 2:Feed timesheet data (including project / task) to UltiPro for payroll run. Upload payroll and benefit costs to SG&A accounts as journal transactions. Secondary journal transaction
Employees work for different Customers in different states. Some of these customers are responsible to handle the workers compensation for the employees who work at their location(s). Is there a proper setup or best practice for this?
For all field employees, the client must add every project’s work location to their Employee Payroll Settings. After a Project/Job is completed, is it safe to remove the Work Location from the Employee Payroll Settings or will the missing work location cause issues when running any certified or payroll reports?
