Do not allow qty=0 lines saved on Invoice without coding?

Hello,    Recently, our users typed qty=0 lines on invoice (which should have qty). So we less charged our customers due to human error.     I know we can probably put codes like below in customization to prevent this mistake.cache.RaiseExceptionHandling<ARTran.baseQty>(aRTran, aRTran.BaseQty, new PXSetPropertyException("Qty can not be 0.", PXErrorLevel.Error));    I am just wondering if there is a way to prevent qty=0 line on Invoice entry without coding.

How to look up some table data automatically?

Hello, we have a service ticket system that runs on a MS SQL server.  This system needs to see our part numbers and prices.Our old Sage 300 ERP also ran on the MS SQL server, so it was easy to see the data.  We would like this same functionality with our new Acumatica system.I considered looking into an automated export to Excel, and I guess this would be fine.  We don’t update prices often, but there will still be a case where we update a price and 5 minutes later the service ticket asks for it. Does anyone have a suggestion for this?

Has anyone used Acumatica for their CRM and have you used the integration with HubSpot?   Is there a lot of set up and configuration for the integration with HubSpot?   Is the integration more than imports and exports between the two?   Thank you!

Are there multiple IP addresses established for redundancy purposes within Acumatica?

I know on your computer you can run the Command Prompt, type ping, leave a space, and then enter the instance URL but I was wondering if there are other IP addresses to be aware of.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Integration with Acumatica

Did anybody have experience with integrating Dynamics 365 (Microsoft) to Acumatica? Particularly for their Sales and CRM data such as:customer information like email address etc to send renewals to.Then account info/invoice needs to flow back to CRM.overdue accounts need to be driven by Acumatica but reflect that in CRM in the customer record.Inventory needs to be integrated to 365 and also to the customers website which is linked to 365 right now.

How to delete the row from INItemPlan when releasing receipt via another graph

I have a customization where i have created a material receipt when releasing the document in the release method im creating the inventory receipt document so, it will create a plan id in the INItemPlan table which need to be deleted automatically while releasing the inventory receipt document but, with the code which i have written its not deleting the plan id record. So, in the inventory summary avaliable qty was doubling. can any one suggest me how to delete the record for INItemPlan using the code.When i do a manual receipt and release the document its creating the plan id and deleting the plan id when the receipt is released.  INReceiptEntry iRe = INReceiptEntry.CreateInstance<INReceiptEntry>();

Embedding Power Bi in Acumatica

I am trying to embed a power bi report in Acumatica from the company’s Power BI service, but when I go through all the setup procedures both in MS Azure and Acumatica and enter the client ID and client secret in the External Application form it just tells me there were errors.  I’ve blindly tried several ways to modify the setup to eliminate the error, but to no avail.Has anyone actually embedded Power BI in Acumatica?  If so, will you help me break the code?

cipher suites for Acumatica Saas

Hi,There is case which describes cipher suites usage in Acumatica Saas.I need to clarify ciphers suites usage for Acumatica.The question is : if I am using such expression in code :ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol = SecurityProtocolType.Tls12;Does it mean that I my application which integrates with Acumatica Saas uses  “TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384” and“TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384” ciphers, because these two cipher suites are supported under TLS1.2 ?If pointing SecurityProtocolType does not mean cipher usage, how it must be implemented ?Best regards,Thanks in advance

OpenID integration with Okta

We are starting to test the new 2021 OpenID Provider integration with Okta and are receiving an error after the user enters their credentials on their Okta page and is redirected back to Acumatica.  I have attached a screenshot for reference.I found some help on this Okta page for setting up OpenID.  Does anyone know if this is the proper guide to follow?Create an App at the Identity Provider | Okta DeveloperThanks,Kurt Bauer

User Authorization - Smartsheet Templates

Hello All, I am in the process of integrating smartsheets and I’m running into user authorization issue. When I try to load smartsheet templates, I receive a message stating “you are not authorized to perform this task”. I am an admin-level user. Does anyone know what user role(s) need to be modified? Acumatica Integration Issue: Push Notification Webhook

Currently, we are facing an issue with a push notification webhook in our QA and PRODUCTION Acumatica environments that is unable to be sent out (the same flow works in our DEV Acumatica environment).The function of the webhook is to refresh a purchase order (PO) cache after certain events have occurred such as: PO creation, PO updating, PO deletion, and PO status changes. More specifically, we are having trouble triggering the webhook when a PO’s status is changed (e.g. from “On Hold” to “Open”).I will attach a few screenshots of the error messages associated with the webhook below, and can upload more information if requested.System Monitor screen: Process Push Notification screen: Push Notification screen:Again, the exact same webhook flow works perfectly in our DEV Acumatica environment, and I have verified that the Address used inside the Push Notification webhook is 100% working. I’m trying to connect ODATA to excel as well to PowerBi.I’ve followed some YouTube videos but keep coming up with issues.  Has anyone had success with these connections? I feel it would be really beneficial for reporting and the excel reports I currently have linked with VLookups.

PDF annotator

we have been testing the PDF Annotator and have ran into a problem with it.  We have found that if the extension (.PDF) is in uppercase then the annotator doesn’t recognize the file as being PDF.  One of our major suppliers send their bills as PDF and the extension is uppercase.  This means that they won’t show up in the Annotator.We would would have to rename each bill for it to work.  Has anyone else seen this and any suggestions on fixing this.

Work with Automation Schedules

Hi, In this topic I was provided by help in question concerning work with Automation Schedules.The Instruction was the following :Please make the below change on the scheduler screen to run the scheduler every 5 min. I followed this instruction and everything worked perfect.After that I deleted schedules and tried to perform it once again and it does not work. Schedule must execute code which creates files in directory. Yesterday files were created, and now they only appear in case if I press button Process dataThe result I am trying to achieve is make my code executed every minute, yesterday it worked but now I can not repeat it Here is my configuration. Is there something that I missed ?

How do we stop the outlook plugin from logging off/out?

We run MYOB Advanced which is essentially Acumatica. I have loaded the outlook addin and for some reason for each email we want to push to Advanced it requires us to open the addin and re enter MYOB credentials... Highly unacceptable from a UAT point of view. Showed our consultant today and they have never seen this before
