Good day I am seeking assistance on how to sort my expense items on the Profit and loss report high to low. This needs to sort automatically each time the report is generated. Is this at all possible? Help will be appriciated. Regards

I’ve been trying to create a GI report listing all the Balance Sheet account code closing balances at each month end across multiple years. The aim is to export that via API to Power BI in a kind of clean CSV state i.e. no grouping, just rows and columns.So I want one row for each account code and each month end date. My first attempt generated 3,600 rows so it’s not that large a set of data.My attempt is 95% right but it’s missing key values and on reflection I think I’m using the wrong set of tables (or in the wrong way) but the documentation isn’t good enough to work that out.The reason it is wrong is when I compare the output to the Balance Sheet Financial Statement report I get some differences, but I can’t see why they are different. I have realised that the report doesn’t give me balances at a month end if there are no transactions in the month. I can fix this through a Power Query custom function but sadly I am still getting some errors. My model

Trying to get a GI that shows the requested period trial balance with subaccounts.     Managed to devise one but it only shows the nominal account/subaccount if there has been movement in the selected period.   Has anyone managed to create one successfully that could share the details

Hi guys, I have a GI listed ending balance for current assets and current liabilities accounts by period. To create a dashboard KPI weights based on this GI, I need to create a filter for current month. Is there a way to define that “FinPeriodID = Current Period” ? Or is there a way to convert FinPeriodID to Month or Date? Because I know I can do a formula on filter for Month and Date, but not Period. :( 

If we have a Purchase Receipt for which we will never create an AP Bill. What can I do so the ENTER AP Bill button is not shown?

I’m trying to increase font size on checks in Report Designer.  I’ve gone to style and increased the size and then saved to server, but the font size is the same when I print.  Any ideas??

Hi,Scenario - Customer invoice amount is 580 and prepayment is 530 need to allocate cash discount of 30 (Cash discount Balance 35) and keep the balance payable as 20. System gives error “Cash discount can be applied only on final payment.”I have tested the same scenario in testing environment, and it allows to process the transaction.can anyone help to correct this error. Thank youDesh

It is quite common to have refunds associated with expense claims, particularly when they are credit card expenses. However, Expense Claim entry will not accept a negative value.What is the best way of dealing with refunds ?

Hi Team,Recently , I have tried posting Intercompany purchase process. I have created PO and triggered the SO then shipment also completed. When I checked the “Inventory summary” inquiry I couldn’t find the movement of inventory from one company to another company.Actually, Purchasing company will receive the inventory and the selling company inventory will be reduced by the quantity which is in the sales order.Please let me know the issue here.Thanks in Advance. 

Hi guys,It seems that when link a cash account to an account in the chart of accounts, it has to be “one to one”. When I tried to link more than one cash accounts to one account in the chart of accounts, the systems showed an error. So is it impossible to do that? Thanks. 

Hi all,when you design a report, you need to define the data source in the column set / row set. I could only see dimensions listed below. Is there any possibility to have “project” here? We’d like to have financial reports by project. I know there are several reports under project, but is there any one of them that shows financial results of multiple projects for comparison? Thanks a lot!

Hi, I am trying to Release an invoice but I get an error  that says GL Error Actual Ledger “ must be defined in base currency USD only. This is happening in our live environment but not in the sandbox (which was refreshed yesterday). This leads me to believe that a setting was changed somewhere inadvertently by a user.  Any help would be appreciated.TIA

We are a US company and need to charge GST tax to our Canadian customers. We also have to charge PST tax in addition to the GST tax to our BC customers. I understand how to setup a tax zone to calculate both the GST & PST for specific customers, but how can I get these 2 taxes to print separately on the BC customer’s invoice?I appreciate any help or direction you can provide.

Hi all,In the sales demo test environment, there is a report of “Profit and Loss by Product”, of which the column set has been confirued to differentiate each column by “start sub”. It only defines the first 3 letters here.And if we take a look at the subaccounts, the logic here is to define products by the first 3 letters and define departments by the last 3 letters.That makes me wonder if we can design a report called “Profit and Loss by Department”, and differentiate each column by “end sub”, for example in the column of Finance department, the data source would be like this:

When I click on Correct Invoice system throws an error: SO Error: The invoice cannot be canceled because it contains direct sale lines with stock items.
