Is there a way to set up a default task in acumatica that has preset sub tasks? For example if we want to create a task to process a customer refund and what some of the bigger steps associated with that task as sub tasks, is there a way to have that pre-programmed in Acumatica?Thanks!

Hello,User emailed an Invoice from the Invoices screen and noticed they wanted to make some changes.I made some minor text changes to the notification template for invoices.I opened the invoice in the Invoices screen and emailed it a second time to see my changes.It seems to be using a different template completely the second time as I did not change the subject line, but you can see it is different.  My changes are not in the email.  Below is the notification template I edited.  You can see the subject still says “available for viewing” at the end.  I search “is now available” in templates and do not get any templates related to invoices.“is now available” is in the top message in the image above.  It is the second email after I made my changes.

In 2021 R1, Acumatica provided the ability to take pictures of business cards and automatically add them as leads or contacts using an AI/ML engine. In many situations, the business phone number was not recognized (see image 1 below). Anyone know how to remove send reports from the list?When I click on selected and process - it does not process the selected item but rather the item that has cursor focus? How is that to be fixed?Would like to be able to Edit the Template Name, how?

Hi, I saw a post regarding this:But the resolution is not feasible to us. Is there any other way to restrict users to a specific vendor class? Purpose of this is we would like only one user to view an create transactions for a specific vendor class. This user shouldn’t also view, enter or edit bills for any other supplier class.

I created a business event based on Vendor Price changes which executes an import scenariio to update a stock item custom field.  The user has delete access to both Vendor Prices and Stock Items however the business event does not fire.  If an admin changes the vendor price, the business event fires???Does a user have to have access rights to both the BE and the import scenario subscriber?  I an not aware this is required since other business event fire.

Hello All, I am trying to set up a Step in my Expense Claim Approval Map that Auto Rejects Claims with a place holder expense item we use to do an import.   Back ground:  We do an import scenario to upload corporate card charges to generate expense receipts with a generic place holder UNCODED.   What I want to do, is if a user happens to miss recoding a receipt and try's to submit it for approval with an UNCODED item on it, it auto rejects.  Below are some screen shots of what I have, the issue is it does reject but it rejects every expense claim regardless of Expense Item.    Thoughts? or Solution would be awesome! 

Hello everyone,does anyone have an idea why the entry of a new customer-specific price with scale quantity = 0 requires a valid-to-date, but the entry with scale quantity = 1 does not require a valid-to-date?It only affects the customer with the id: 13051. Is there a way to email the Purchase Order or Sales Order directly from the mobile app?We have several people who are using the mobile app to create either purchase or sales orders and need to send it to the customer/vendor immediately upon creation. However, the option to email the PO or SO isn’t on the main screen. Is it hidden somewhere or do we have to add it somehow? 

Hi everyone, I’ve been going through some Open University courses recently, but I’m noticing an issue where none of my progress is being recorded.After completing a lesson or quiz, when I click I’m Done, the page shows “Your session has ended” and the lesson resets to 0% progress. If I re-open the same lesson, it starts as if it has never been completed.I’ve tried closing/re-opening the browser and logging in again, but the same thing happens each time.Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this a known issue or is there a workaround to get progress tracking to work?Thanks in advance for any help  I’d like to continue learning but progress isn’t being captured.

I am very, very new to creating Wikis. I’ve created a wiki article to serve as my Portal Homepage, but it displays a bunch of metadata that I don’t want to show, and it has the “Rate this article” picker at the bottom that I don’t want either. Is there a way to configure the article so that this stuff doesn’t show?  

Hi there, lately it has come to our attention that there is a discrepancy between the Discount Unit Price of an item, and the Amount the item will be sold for occasionally when entering as Sales Order.  From my best guess, it is an error with rounding, but I was curious if anybody else has noticed this, and how they resolved it.  Here is an example of what I am talking about. In this example, we will just be making a quote for the customer.The employee enters the item and the discount code into the sales order (in this example, the customer is getting a 25% discount on the item).  For this item, the discount price would be calculated to 12.555, but generally, this is rounded down to 12.55.  Initially, everything seems correct, the discount unit price matches the amount when the qty of the item is 1.  Values before saving and

In the Project record, we have added dropdown fields for Project Administrator and Project Coordinator based on position. The existing Project Manager field is also a dropdown based on position. We want to restrict access so that these users can only view projects assigned to them and not see other projects. What would be the best way to achieve this? Thanks 

Hello! Currently my coworkers and I are working out of different versions of Outlook. I am using the older version while he is using the new version. We both work out of Chrome. When I go to drag and attachment from outlook (old) and drop it in the files of a sales order, I can do that with no issue. However, when he tried to do it on his outlook (new), it will not allow him. The only way we are able to add an attachment for him is by saving the PDF to a folder then dragging it from there, which we are trying to move away from. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you find a solution? Thank you!

I am running into this problem, and I can’t seem to find a clear answer online anywhere. I am trying to set up an automation that will trigger a business event to send an email once a week to our customers. However, I can’t get the actual scheduled automation to trigger in order to even test that the business event and email are working the way I want them to. Is there a way to run turnover automatically? I see automation schedule as a option for turnover, however that sets the period to be one defined value, meaning that the schedule will break when the month starts. Is there a way to keep this program running indefinitely? 

Hello Acumatica community, I was testing how to change the base UOM for a stock item and received the following error message:This was after I created an Adjustment entry and removed the item from all open SO and PO lines.Has anyone seen and resolved this error message before when changing the base UOM?Thank you!

We are testing the modern UI in 2025R2, and are no longer able to drag a file from Windows Explorer on to an Acumatica screen and have it upload to the Files area.  When trying this, the file appears to go directly to the workstation's Downloads folder.So far, to make it work we have to click on Files, then drag and drop to that window.  This is a minor inconvenience, but I couldn’t find anything on it in the 25R2 release notes so wondering if we are missing something.  Anyone else seeing this or aware of documentation on the change?

We’re experiencing some odd behavior with the main search field. No results are returned when using a combination of three or more numerals and “AS”.Specifically, we have a stock items called “MAS513” with different suffixes, like AO, A12, and AS. Using the search bar at the top gives results for searches of “MAS513”, “MAS513-AO”, and “MAS513-A12”, but not for “MAS513-AS”. “MAS AS” and “13-AS” give results and can find the item, but “513-AS” does not. It works without issue in grids’ quick search field. It seems like ‘as’ is a keyword but only in certain circumstances? Does anyone know why this would be happening?Thank you for any insight you can provide,

I have a sales order that i have processed through into shipping and invoiced. the shipping and invoiced status both show completed/closed  but going back to the sales order it shows as ‘Open’ and not ‘completed’. I have put the order on hold and clicked off the check box under the completed column and have also clicked on ‘complete order’ under processing and still will not change the status of the sales order to ‘complete’.How can this be resolved in order to show status ‘completed’. Please help. 

Hello, I am trying to create an “On hands” report for our offsite locations. I would like to show each offsite location in a column and to only show the inventory in that location. I wrote my formula as =([INLocationStatus.LocationID]=CONTAINER1) but this obviously is not correct as I am seeing the current on hand values across all locations. Any ideas on the formula to use to accomplish this goal?  

Is anyone populating Box 6 on 1099-NEC or Box 17 on 1099-Misc?  State/Payer’s State NoIs there a field in Acumatica that we can populate that number?  Or are people just adding it to the report? Thanks, Justin
