I have a unique scenario that I am trying to figure out. We have a product that packages pills for pharmacies. It comes with up to 480 pill canisters that dispense the pills. We stock these items by their unique identifier, but have a general code for quotes as to not have a 500 line item quote. The additional challenge is that we will not know the mix of canisters until after the sales order is created. We currently have to go back to the sales order and add these codes manually in order to take the correct amount out of stock. Are there any ideas on how to automate this or make is less tedious? I have looked into Matrix items, but that scenario sems just as tedious. Any thoughts would help a lot.
