Getting the below error when trying to set value for a custom field. Multiple users have brought this to my attention after upgrading to 2022 R2 release. They do all of their email out of Acumatica and use the Discard Changes and Close button and that seems to be missing. Any way to get that button back? It seems in the new release of 2022 R2, when you open an email activity, it opens a duplicate tab, and the Discard Changes and Close button is gone now. Now you have to close the tab and go back to the previous All Emails tab at the top. We used to have the Discard icon.I looked but did not see any changes for this in any of the User Guides.

Hello,My client is using the CRM in many phases of their process. I need to be able to limit which types of activities a certain user can see. For example, they can see emails but they can’t see notes. The reason is that they attach notes realted to the funding of the project and they don’t want that information know to all users.If I could limit the activities a user can see by filtering out the “Internal” activities, that would be enough.Any ideas?
Has anyone been able to map the owner field from Salesforce (Opportunities, Leads, Business Accounts, Contacts) into Acumatica? I do not see the owner field mapped in the native Salesforce import scenarios. I have not had any luck mapping the Owner ID field from Salesforce to any of the fields available in Acumatica, such as “owner”, “owner ID”, or “Owner > Contact”.
Hi All, We are currently running into some issues identifying concise and strong logic to route a Sales Quote through Approval when a Business Account is not a Customer yet.The Numbering Sequences are not unique as converting a Prospect into a Customer and it seems that the Business Account Status and Type are not available in the Approval Map Entities and Fields for the Sales Quote. Any ideas?
Hi All,We are having a strange issue with emails on version of Acumatica (2019 R1).Issue: Emails getting randomly redirected. A(outlook) → sends email to B (support email address). This support email address is configured at SM204001. For some reason Application (Acumatica ERP) redirects/forwards the email to the recipients who were initially part of the email chain but no longer. Not sure if there are some default rules configured to redirect within the framework. This happens randomly, so hard to identify the root cause.Mail servers are hosted on premise.
Our current process is to create a Lead complete with New Contact and Business Name.We desire to default Lead Owner to Operator entering the Lead as well default respective New Business Account and Contact Owner from Lead Owner.Is there a way to setup Acumatica to accomplish this ?I have both entered Leads manually and from Import Scenario, setting Owner manually, converting to Business Account and Contact without the Owner copying over.
We are coming off an ECISolutions software and migrating to Acumatica. In the mapping of Customers there is a field called Account Ref which I believe links that customer to a GL Account. My question is what actually goes into that field? In ECISolutions there is a field called debnr that is listing the customer number back to the gbkmut table (main GL table). Would it be better to link the Customer Class back to the GL Account(s) or continue using the cusotmer number? The final say of course would be for the Accounting Manager to make that decision.

Employee time card :- Customization to calculate time spent based on the local start time and local end time cutom field
Helloo,I’ve added 2 custom field as local start time and local time field in the employee time card detail tab, but don’t know how to add a calculation on the time spent field, which will be difference between start time and end time entered in these 2 custom fields. Attached customization project of these custom fields. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.Thanks.
Hi,I can’t find this topic on the community, but I have a customer that uses cases for both internal and customer issues.When an email comes into their outlook inbox from an external contact, they are able to add that email to an existing case using the outlook add in. But when an email hits their inbox from an internal employee, they are not able add that employee’s email to a case (even if they change the “Person” to a different name).Am I missing something?Thanks!

It doesn’t happen very often, but a few times users have hit the delete button at the top header of an opportunity when they were just trying to delete a detail line of the opportunity. When this happens ,the opportunity is deleted along with all the tracked activities, quotes etc. There is no message that says “Do you want to delete this opportunity?”. It would be great if a warning or message could be added as a reminder to warn the user they are deleting the opportunity. Or even to have a checkbox added to the preferences window where users could select to display warnings before deleting opportunities.
Good morning!When i convert a sales quote int he CRM to a sales order, it assigns the wrong branch. Is there a setting somewhere that i can manage this through? the sales quote in the CRM does not have the option to choose a branch so when it is converted i guess it just automatically defaults to our ABC branch? I feel like i am just missing a setting somewhere but i have looked and can not figure out where it would be. Any help is much appreciated :) Thanks in advance!
