Hello everyone,

i want to achieve, that the “Owner” of the Sales Qoute is automatially trasnfered into the “Owner” Field of the Sales Order, that is created out of the Sales Qoute.

When a Sales Order is Created out of an Sales Qoute, the Employee, that is linked to your User is put into the Owner Field of the Sales Order, no matter what Owner is originally written in the Sales Quote.

I think it is also because the Owner field of the Sales Qoute is another field than the Owner Field of The Sales Order.

Field in Sales Quote:

Field in Sales Order: (Under the finacial tab)

So in conclusion i just want that the Owner of the Sales Quote is written into the Owner Field of the Sales Order.

I hope you can help.

Greetings

@FinnSystemAG I would suggest to do a development/customisation to set it as @mohammadnawaz51 suggests you could do it by Business Event but if you are triggering the business event when the Sales Quote is converted to a Sales Order it will update the record as soon as the Sales Order is created and if the user who does the Conversion tries to change anything on the Sales Order when they convert it they will get the record is in use and wont be able to save there changes and it will get annoying. If you are running the Business Event on a schedule out of hours then that wont cause this issue

Yes, when an Owner is set in the Sales Quote that is not the employee linked to you as the user, its just overwritten by your employee, when you transfer the quote to the order

@FinnSystemAG I am able to see the issue now as you mentioned, I can provide to use the Business event to Update the owner from the sales quote.

1.Get the Owner of the sales quote in a Generic inquiry.

2.Using Business events -Import scenario update the owner which ever we have in sales quote.

Thank you. So you mean in just any generic inquiry or in the generic inquiry of the sales orders, so that we already have the field in the right table, where we want it?
