Solved

We have inhouse inventory that is transferred to projects on a monthly basis.  Currently through Project Transactions you can enter the Inventory ID, qty, price, etc and the costs will go onto the job however it does not make any adjustment to the inventory stock item itself.  We then have to go into Inventory Preferences, shut off the “Update GL” so that the adjustment does not double up in the GL,  make an adjustment to the physical quantity and cost to reflect the new quantity on hand, then turn the GL back on.  With internal transfers of inventory to projects, we should be able to make one entry that will update the project, the GL and the inventory item all at once.  According to support, we do not have that function at this time so anytime someone has an adjustment to move inventory to a project it is a 3 step process.  We would like to get this streamlined into one and done entry.

I am looking to add hyperlinks to the below highlighted field in a GI similar to the Approvals screen: How can I achieve this?

Hi, We have an item that shows that there are 73 units available and on-hand qty = 73 as well for a particular lot (inventory summary) However, when we are trying to do a transfer, and it won't allow us to transfer our more than 27 items.Ge the following error: IN Error: The document cannot be saved because the quantity of the MAIN-LBL-SANSBURY-TU-WCWEF-R item with the 000 PAR SAI T1810 ARLO CHARCL lot number is not sufficient for shipping in the D2 warehouse. To be able to save the document with the On Hold status, clear the Allocate Items in Documents on Hold check box on the General tab of the Inventory Preferences (IN101000) form. We could see that in the PX.Objects.IN.INSiteLotSerial, the hard available quantity for this material is 27. Where is this value set from? and this is where the validation gets triggered. What is the difference between hard availability and availability? Does anyone know what the issue here? Thank you!

I’m writing a script to automatically process electronic invoices that come in through email and perform several actions after parsing up the invoices and extracting information from them.  I’m kind of new to REST API (I am very familiar with SQL) and so I was wondering how I could write a query that would return the InventoryID of the item based off 1) UPC (barcode) or 2) vendor and vendor code/alternate ID, which are things that are typically included on invoices.  My code is below: Private Sub test()  Dim ResponseText As String     If RESTQuery("Default/22.200.001/StockItem?$expand=CrossReferences&$select=InventoryID&$filter=CrossReferences/VendorOrCustomer%20eq%20'V000000247'%20and%20CrossReferences/AlternateID%20eq%20'8836'", ResponseText) <> 0 Then    Debug.Print "Query failed!"  Else    Debug.Print "Query successful!"  End IfEnd Sub The first part of the error message that is returned is: {"message":"An error has occurred.","exceptionMessage":"The parent value for

What is the difference between the Non-Stock Kit Standard Cost and Non-Stock Kit Standard Cost Plus Stock Component Cost? Our current setting is Non-Stock Kit Standard Cost We have a new Kit item including a stocked and non stock components. The sale profitability only pull the cost of the non-stock component of $50, and exclude the cost of the stocked component of $3,160.50. From my understanding, this Ext. Cost from the Issue transaction should be pulled into the Cost on the Sales Profitability.   Should I update the setting to Non-Stock Kit Standard Cost Plus Stock Component Cost?

The Purchase Order “Line Total” field is the summary of lines curyExtCost filed which is defined in the POTaxAttribute: PXUnboundFormulaAttribute(typeof(POLine.curyExtCost), typeof(SumCalc<POOrder.curyLineTotal>)).I want to add a condition to the formula to exclude the Cancelled line: PXUnboundFormula(typeof(IIf<Where<POLine.cancelled, Equal<True>>, decimal0, POLine.curyExtCost>), typeof(SumCalc<POOrder.curyLineTotal>)).How can I replace the original PXUnboundFormula with the new one, or can I Remove the old formula and add new formula? Thanks,

I am trying to write an Excel VBA macro to change Inventory IDs.  On a stock item’s page, there is a Change ID option, where I can do it manually.  I’d like to do something like this: Sub TestChangeInvID(ByRef Cookie1 As String, ByRef Cookie2 As String)  Dim Headers(4, 2) As String, Body As String, ResponseHeaders As String, ResponseText As String   Headers(1, 1) = "Accept"  Headers(1, 2) = "application/json"  Headers(2, 1) = "Content-type"  Headers(2, 2) = "application/json"  Headers(3, 1) = "Cookie"  Headers(3, 2) = "ASP.NET_SessionId=" & Cookie1  Headers(4, 1) = "Cookie"  Headers(4, 2) = ".ASPXAUTH=" & Cookie2  Body = "{""entity"" : {""InventoryID"" : {""value"":""MYITEM""}},""parameters"" : {""InventoryID"" : {""value"":""MYITEM1""}}}"   If SendData("POST", "https://alaskansales.acumatica.com/entity/Default/22.200.001/StockItem/ChangeID", Headers, Body, ResponseHeaders, ResponseText) = 204 Then    Debug.Print "Success!"  End IfEnd Sub It doesn’t work, I am guessing because

We are experiencing storage issues due to the number/size of files our teams are uploading. Where can I find/create a list of uploaded files and the associated sizes? Can I build a GI? This information looks to be stored in ‘UploadFileRevisionNoData’ but this doesn’t appear as a table in Generic Inquiries?

I try to create a journal entry for conversion of some money in CAD into USD. The journal currency is in CAD. When I pick the USD account as in CAD equivalent, a error message said “ Denominated GL account currency is different from transaction currency”. Please advise how I can resolve the issue. Thank you.

Hello, One of our clients has imported and then posted several hundred bank transactions (they imported twice). As far as I know, the best way to void them out would be to create an import that reverses the transactions. If anyone knows a better way, please let me know. I have created the integration but keep getting an error that it cannot save or release the transaction. I have followed the steps exactly in Acumatica and I can manually perform them, but the integration seems to be having an issue. All I am trying to do is import a list of the transactions that need voided and tell the system to reverse them. Maybe because it is creating a new transaction by reversing?Any thoughts or ideas would be help. Thank you!

HiWe sell various hardware items.  Suppose we are selling Item A.Item A may be issued from Stock in 3 ways:at the standard price, paid in full by the customer on invoice on a hire purchase (rental to purchase model), paid over a term of 36 months free of charge as a warranty replacement In each case the Item is identical so I don’t want to create more than one Inventory ID.  As far as I see Subitems or Attributes would require me to do so.Currently we distinguish between these models as follows:price applied is the list price price applied is the list price with 100% discount free item box is tickedIs there a better way to identify these different commercial methods on a Sales Order, such that we can report on them conveniently later?

After going through the steps in “Modifying the Printing & Emailing section of PO screen”, I don’t see how to modify the More menu with setting up printing a modified Purchase Order needed for our business. Under the “Print Purchase Order” I would like to add “Print Widget Purchase Order” (and not mess to much with the normal “Print Purchase Order” button) or use the present “Print Purchase Order” button to for our modified Purchase Order (PO6410C1.rpx).

We are looking for a way to have Acumatica provide an alternate pick location during the pick process if a sku is not in its expected location.  As an example, the mobile app directs the picker to get a quantity of 3 of sku A from pick location 123.  The picker goes there and only 2 units are available, even though the system believes 3 should be there.  This could be due to a prior receiving issue or miscount.  But, we have more units of sku A in other pickable locations. How can we tell the system there is only 2 in location 123 and direct the user to another location where sku A lives to complete the pick process and pick the full order?  We don’t want to close out the order as a short ship if we have more units in the building.  Ideally, we also want the system to correct the inventory issue in location 123 as well. Thank you!

We have a modified sales order form with a text box in the header. The content to the customer is the main part of the text. Depending on whether the sales order is international or not, depends on the email address embedd in the text. For example, if the order is international, then the customer will be directed to email international@ourcompany.com, if not international, then sales@ourcompany.com. I’ve tried googling it, looking at Augforums and have come up short. Any  help will be appreciated. My other thought is to have two different forms, one for international, one for other, but I’d rather use one if possible.

What is the best way to set-up and create purchase orders for non-inventory items like office supplies? We are a manufacturer, but these items are not stock items, nor are they raw materials. Our process is to create a purchase order for any purchases over $500.  The PO needs to list a description of the item, price, quantity and extended price on the invoice.  A receipt is required for all items on the purchase order.Obviously, we don’t want to set-up item IDs for all these miscellaneous and one-off purchases. Thanks for the help.

Hello,How would I get a User Defined field in the Vendors screen returned in the Email Template being used for the Bills and Adjustments screen?  I have looked into this and cannot determine how this can be done.  Your help is much appreciated.Mike
