I am trying to add a $ sign to my GI. I saw this formula “ =’$’ + CStr([ARTran.CuryTranAmt]) ” in the community but there is one challenge with it. It resulted in 4 decimal places. I’ve tried a lot of formulas to reduce it to 2 decimal places per my company requirement but its not working. Is there any way to make this work.ChatGPT gave me this instructions to apply but for some reason I can't find the properties to apply the Data Type = Decimal. and format Format = $#,##0.00. 

We tried to reconcile an asset with a transaction.  We clicked on process and then we see the error message “The fixed asset has unreleased reconciliation transactions.” next to the Accrual Balance:There are no Fixed Asset Transactions matching this for us to release.  Where can we find the reconciliation transactions to release?

Does anyone have an inventory usage/inventory aging report xml that they could attach? I’ve been trying to create one with a GI but having trouble getting it to work correctly.Thanks for the help!

Hi Everyone, I'm currently working on an implementation for a manufacturing business and am wondering what best practices for tracking “downtime’’ in production orders during the manufacturing process. For example:a production worker is injured during the production run and the manufacturing line halts for 30 minutes.  or a piece of machinery has techincal issues and is serviced on the fly for 10/15 minuteswhat would be the best way to track this downtime vs the actual labor captured.Open to any ideas, recommendations.Much appreciated 

Hello all,i want to achieve, that the Marketinglists, a Customer has, are also subscribed in Contacts, that are created out of the Customer.Problem:For example we have the following Customer/business account, with the following Marketing-lists checked;When a contact is created out of the business account, no marketing list is checked/subscribed: The Customer whiches it to be like that automatically, when a contact is created out of an business Account, so that the contacts marketing lists always match with the ones of the customer.How could this be done? Thank you

Hello Everyone, We have converted our custom screens to Modern UI, as well as the default screens that contain custom fields, by creating extension files. These have also been converted to Modern UI.We then added the corresponding .ts and .html files into the Modern UI folder of the customization package. However, when we tried to publish the package, we encountered issues, primarily with the default screen extension files. I’m trying to add a custom Cancel button on the Sales Orders screen (SO301000) using the Customization Project Editor.Steps I took: Opened the project → Screen Editor → SO301000 Expanded DataSource: SOOrderEntry → Toolbar → Standard Tried Add Controls → Button under the Standard toolbar Issue:When I drag/drop or select “Button,” nothing shows up in the tree (the button doesn’t get created).Has anyone faced this before? Am I missing a step to actually insert the new button into the toolbar?

Hi everyone,I’ve encountered an issue with invoice printing in Acumatica. For invoices that contain multiple analysis keys (subaccounts), only one key is currently printed on the invoice.I would like to display all analysis keys that appear on the invoice, separated by commas (e.g., 10, 20).The challenge is that the Report Designer doesn’t support loops or iterative logic, so a manually written expression would have to check and concatenate each line individually. This quickly becomes impractical for invoices with many lines.Has anyone found a reliable way to display all analysis keys for an invoice in a single field on the report? Any guidance or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!  

I want to create a grid (similar to the “Salespersons” tab) on the Customer screen (ScreenID: AR303000), but instead of Salespersons, I want to display Employees linked to the customer.My goal is to display a list of employee records related to the customer in a separate tab using a grid view.I'm currently trying to create this through a Customization Project (not by writing code), but I haven't been able to set it up correctly.Has anyone done this before or could help me understand how to create a custom grid with a separate data source and view on the Customer screen?Any help or example would be greatly appreciated!Best regards,Pantea  

Hello 🙂, my issue is that due to reverse charge (i.e., input/output VAT handling), the line items appear twice on the document.I want to create a filter in the Report Designer to correct this duplication.Does anyone have an idea how I could solve this problem?Below are a few images that illustrate the issue.   

Hello everyone,I’m facing an issue with the Sales Order (LA) report/form where some line items are unexpectedly shown twice, even though the underlying data looks correct. I suspect the problem is related to how the SOLine and SOTax tables are joined or how the data is grouped in the report.I’ve tried adjusting the joins (like using a LEFT JOIN between SOLine and SOTax) and filtering tax records, but so far without success. Removing the SOTax join causes errors or missing data in the report.My goal is to display each line item only once, while still showing the correct tax information, so that invoices and shipment documents don’t have duplicate lines. If anyone has any ideas or could help me troubleshoot and resolve this, I would really appreciate it!Thanks so much!Pantea

My requirement is straightforward: I want to retrieve stock items via OData and only pull the delta records based on the Last Modified Date. However, I’ve encountered a couple of challenges.Problem 1: Time Zone InconsistencyWhen I use the old URL format: /odata/Company/MyGI?$format=json&$filter=ItemLastModifiedDateTime ge datetime'2025-09-25T18:50:05.977' Both the query filter and the response use UTC time zone - which is OK However, when I switch to the new URL format: /t/Company/api/odata/gi/MyGI?$filter=ItemLastModifiedDateTime gt 2020-09-25T12:10:41.837Z The query is executed using UTC (probably due to the Z suffix). The response, strangely, is returned in PT (Pacific Time). ➡️ I need both the query and the response to use the same time zone format with the new endpoint. Client is using the clock entry to record labor on production orders.  The calendar has specific break times noted.  It appears that the employee has to clock out for breaks.  What is the point of setting up these break times if they are not taken into account in clock entry?  This just adds another set of clock in and clock out for the employee. Am I missing a setting?  What are the break times used for?  Seems just informational on the calendar.  (client is not using MFG - APS Module) Any advice? 

I exported items from one tenant and am trying to import to another tenant. Item classes have all been configured the same way. I get the following error: Field: Item Class, Value: DIRECT -LABOURBEN , Error: 'Item Class' cannot be found in the system.I suspect the issue is that item class is actually “DIRECT    -LABOURBEN          ” since segmented key is 30 characters. The values exported without all the spaces, so I tried adding them in Excel before uploading file. However, when preparing data on Import by Scenario screen, values appear without spaces on the end. Acumatica removes them.Anyone know how I can resolve this? Could be wrong about the cause, open to suggestions. I’m easily able to call OData enabled generic inquiries from Postman and also make the mass metadata call for all enabled GIs.  Is there a way to pull the metadata for only a single GI?  Copilot indicates that the format is https://[YourAcumaticaInstance]/OData/[GenericInquiryName]/$metadata but that doesn’t work.  The result is a 500 internal server error with the request profiler showing “Invalid action detected. ‘$metadata’ is not an action that can bind to collection...etc.”.  If I try alternate formats including using the metadata link returned in a Postman response, I either get the full metadata catalog, a more robust response for the GI result, or a similar 500 error.  Is there some action required to allow individual metadata calls?  Thanks.

I am unable to refresh the screen automatically after attaching a file using the file icon on the toolbar. Currently, I have to manually refresh the screen. Please suggest the best practice to handle this.

Hello; i’m struggling to activate my Price class field in my Generic Inquiry.I’ve gotten it to work before...but i had to switch from billing to shipping addresses and having rebuilt it, i broke it and cant get it again lol. So far, I’ve had success using the DAC browser and following what they state via the element inspector, albeit some are backwards to what the browser says.  Is there a resource that explains more thorough how to find these relation partnerships? I sorta understand but some change and i get confused. 

Hi -We need the functionality to send a business event email that contains a group of records from a GI, rather than separate emails for each records. This has come up in multiple scenarios, and it seems the only option is to create a custom report to attach to the email, or just send a generic email with a hyper link to a GI. This functionality is highly needed - we have consulted with our strategic partner and have been told it is not possible. Here are a couple of current scenarios, but I could see multiple areas this functionality would be necessary:Email that contains all purchase orders or purchased items that are more than 5 days late in arriving. Email would contain a list of each item with its description, project and promised date with a hyperlink to corresponding order. AP Approval emails - our employees are getting bombarded with many approval emails in a day. A more sustainable solution would be 1 single email daily with a summary of each item to be approved.

Using the project editor, I add UsrDepartment to the Bills and Adjustments screen.  It is a simple selector.  When the filed was added, it created it in the ARRegister table.I want the field to be required.  I did not use [PXDefault] in the DAC in case there are legacy records where that field is null, and I don’t want any other processes to fail if that field is null.In order to make the field required, I added code to the RowPersisting event hander on the APInvoice DAC.In order to get the value in the field, I need to get the extension on the ARRegister DAC.If you are saving an EXISTING invoice, everything works fine, and the field is marked as an error with a message.MY FIRST CHOICE: When you save the invoice and you do not supply the department, I want to mark the field with a propertyexception.However, if you try to save a NEW record and the field is empty, I get an unexpected error.I can get around this by throwing a PXException to the screen, but I want to actually flag the fiel
