Shopify Import Ship Via Mapping

Hey folks - do we know if there is a way to create a mapping, without customization to default the Ship Via - or are we forever bound by the Shipping mapping on the Store Settings?

i.e. when a new shipment method is created in shopify and we want to import an order the system errors out because the mapping to the ship via is not provided on the Store Settings. 

How can we default one ship via value?

For some clients we’ve set a single value on the Entity mapping: =’BEST’ for example. You don’t even need to worry about mapping on the SHIPPING tab then.

Neither of these worked in my 25R2 instance, maybe 25R2 has a bug?

@kkeating24 , maybe it is a bug… on the SHIPPING tab of the Shopify Stores screen, do see that line as unmapped but active? try to inactivate it and then import again.

That worked, it was active, but that doesn’t really help automate the import of new shipping methods.  The idea here was the entity mapping would default the ship via, but now any time a new shipping method is created we have to deactivate?   

Sounds like a customization, or an idea?!

I suppose that you had that custom mapping in Entities screen at the time when this new order came? If so, then I would raise a ticket with Acumatica. But, if it wasn’t, then I would try to create a new Shopify order with a new shipping method, and see if your custom mapping doesn’t pick it up for you.

I tried a new order with the mapping in place and a new custom shipping method still fails:

No it appears that the connectors functionality is to require a manual intervention for Mapping a ship-via any time a new shipping method is created.

doesn’t look like the entity mapping will circumvent this process.
