On trying to setup Matrix Items, I noticed that the Stock Items page Inventory ID only allows the entry of 20 characters and the field is set as 30 nvarchar long, any idea why? 

Is there a way to link an user account to an employee record?I understand that I would need to set the UserID field on the employee's Contact record to the user's PKID value. From Slashdot this was one of the answers:“In addition there is also Employee.UserID that you would want to set equal to the Users.PKID value. The virtual field is populated using that Contact.UserID value but in the RowUpdating handler Acumatica is updating both the Contact and Employee records when Users.ContactID is changed.” Is there any more clarification on this? 

I am trying to set up a tax calculation for Washington B&O tax which is a gross receipts tax paid by the company and not the customer based on the products sold.  I am unable to find any examples of setting this type of tax calculation.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, is it currently possible to create a custom color theme for Mobile App or at least adjust color of background? There are light and dark themes right now but for certain screens in the light mode it’s problematic to see the texts as it’s light gray text on slightly lighter shade of gray background for read-only records. It seems currently only color set for “Primary Color” field on Site Preferences SM200505 screen affects colors in the app but the changes are limited to colors header panels and buttons. Creating custom theme for the site only changes colors on the web site and color of header panels and buttons just as editing “Primary Color” field and the rest colors stay the same on mobile app.

How can we run an end of day UPS report in Acumatica without the Shipping Integration package. We currently have a client that just went live and we have UPS integrated into the system and shipping. But we need to also have the end of day report for the driver. I see options with the Shipping Integration package, but they don’t have that. Any information on this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

Hi All,Case: we got a contract provide a maintenance service monthly in 1 years. I expect to have a service contract where we can add a service order Maintenance that recurring 12 appointments (1 service contract, 1 service order, 12 appointments belonging to 1 service order)However, the way system working is 1 service contract, generate 12 service orders, and each service order corresponding with 1 appointmentIm not sure if this is the way system has been setup correctly.Do you have any sugest to setup the service contract to run as my expectation?Thanks in advance for your advice.Yên Chi

Hello,We have a PO with 4 lines for the same stock item.Each line has a different Requested date.When I print the PO, it consolidates this to 1 line on the printed PO.We do not want this, we want to print the 4 lines to show each requested date.  

All, my Test tenant is purple, my Live tenant is blue.As you can see in the screenshots below, in the Test tenant, when a user clicks into a Stock Item, the detail screen shows the item description at the top. Also, the word ‘Stock Items’ is blue/hyperlinked so the user can click it to go back to the primary listing. Also, there is a black/left UI icon for the user to click as well.My Live tenant Stock Items detail page is seriously messed up. There is no item description; the Stock Items link isn’t blue but it *IS* clickable, but all it does is refresh the item details page, it doesn’t go back to the PL; and there is no black/left UI to discard changes and cancel.There’s something wrong with my Live Stock Items, and I think there are multiple things going on. Probably with the Entry Point/Entry Screen, Navigation and maybe the site map too.Help! :D 

User had a shipment that was returned to a different warehouse from the original one where it was shipped.  The order was going to be shipped again to the customer (different shipping method), but from another different warehouse. User tried to do a return for replacement (RR) transaction to get the inventory back into inventory and then ship out again from another warehouse.  Same product, same lot number, so a new invoice was not needed.A shipment was created and completed for this RR transaction. Unfortunately the way the user did the transaction was wrong.  Now they need to reverse the the RR Sales Order type they created. What is the process to reverse this? Thank you. 

So, we have Clock Entries against Production Orders, but to approve the Clock Entries, I’m getting the following error:The transaction cannot be created for Production Order RO (Order number) because the item quantity exceeds the preassigned item quantity for the 000010DATEIN240410 lot or serial number.However, that’s not the only issue. I had to CHANGE the Lot number to 000010DATEIN240410 (it was assigning the ‘lot’ day) and giving me this error:The transaction cannot be created for Production Order RO (Order Number) because the 000000DATEIN240410 lot or serial number has not been preassigned. Why is Clock Entry Approval trying to assign lot numbers? Why isn’t it just using the lot numbers that were generated on the Production Order?

Hi All,I am currently working on an Inventory Report and need to access the underlying Data for Inventory Allocation Details.I am 95% there by using INSiteStatus and INItemPlan Tables. But I am missing a crucial piece and that is the Reference Nbr: Anybody have an idea on where this is stored/how I can access this?The Document Type/Allocation Type, Allocation Date etc are all stored in INItemPlan but I cannot seem to find the actual Source Document or the reference number related to it. This would be crucial for this Report.

We have the UPS rest carrier setup under Carriers and had ran through testing without any issues. However, when pushing the carrier to the live status with the live ID and secret key, we are encountering an odd error when trying to ship. This happens after we are on the shipment itself and hit “Confirm Shipment”. We had already gathered the rates via UPS so it does connect just errors on this last step that produces the label and tracking info. Any idea what we are missing?Thanks,Adam

Hello, I have run into an issue where multiple users are using different order types, By Default Sales order preferences is set to SO. If I remove and save it to Blank,when I go to create a sale order it then repopulates with SO. Is there a way to force it to be blank so that the users loading orders have to select the order type each time.  Cheers, Nathan 

I need to be able to have User Defined Fields always editable for reference information. Case in point, Purchase Order Approvals. When a PO is rejected, we have a user defined field on the PO screen where we will place simple notes about the rejection. i.e. “too many”Manager needs to hit reject and edit the user defined fields without placing the PO on Hold. If we have to place the PO on Hold, then the status of that PO will revert back to pending approval, on hold, etc, instead of keeping the “Rejected” status in place. Basically I need a PO writer to clearly see that their PO is rejected in the “Status” column on the main Purchase Orders screen, then see the notes on why it was rejected as well.

This business event is usually failing with a strange error and the occasional success since upgrade to 23 R2. Can anyone help me?  Business Event configuration 

Good morning,I am trying to do a refund through a payment received in a closed financial period.How is it possible to do so while keeping the financial period closed?  We are refunding it as of today but the payment will not allow a refund to occur due to the financial period being closed when the payment was received.  

Is there any way I can use data from a Nonexistent table into my GI? for example In the Inventory Allocation Details screen there is a field called Reference Nbr. which is the document number of the source for this allocation.how can I get the data within this field into my own made GI?

We began using project quotes a year ago, and we have since realized that there seems to be no way to cancel a quote.Is there a way to have Project Quotes canceled or automatically expired so we can easily create default views of current and unexpired/uncancled quotes?It’s been suggested to me that this is a feature of the CRM module, which is not something that we have, but also seems an equally strange thing to do. Everywhere else we can open, complete, or even cancel items without the need for an extra module we won’t really get much use out of.
