Is it possible to change a unit of measure conversion for a material item after a production order has been made with that item as a material? I am going to assume no but just wanted to check.

We have completed and closed 1 production order that used a stock item as a material. The original conversion is

From Unit: LBS

Multiply/Divide: Divide

Conversion: 5

To Unit: EA

 

I want to change the conversion to 45.

 

The production order has been completed and closed.

Hi @SBaldwin 

You can change the UOM with the condition that you must adjust the stock of that item to 0. After changing the new UOM, you adjust the stock of that item with the current stock.
