We are trying to change the Lot/Serial Class of an item to any other lot/serial class with different Tracking Method. If the prior class was Serialized with Lot/Serial class as "Default" and have tracking method as "Not Tracked" and Assignment Method as "When Received". However, If we try to change the lot/serial class of an item to any other lot/serial class We are getting an error as "Lot/serial class cannot be changed when its tracking method is not compatible with the previous class and the item is in use." We tried with zeroed out the quantity on hand for the item and ensured that there are no allocations for this stock item, but it won't work.How can we successfully change the Lot/Serial Class in this scenario? Lot Serial Issue Lot Serial Class

I need to retrieve data from multiple entities like companies, projects, and employees.I successfully made API calls using Postman to fetch specific entities, like projects. However, when I attempt the same call through the Extended endpoint, I receive a 500 Internal Server Error.Could someone advise on the best approach to fetch data from multiple entities, including using the Extended endpoint?

Hello! Does anyone know how I can link the “Notes” section on the Customer screen to create an endpoint? I tried hardcoding “Note Text” under the mapped field section since that is the name on the import scenario, but that did not work. The only 2 options under the Customer Summary are “Add Pop-up note” and “Pop up note text”.

I am writing an Import Scenario to import customer x-ref data to a stock item. To InventoryItem, our VAR added UsrUPC so we can get the UPC from the stock item record, with less logic.Ideally, I want to use the UPC and Description, if there is one in the import file, if not inherit it from the InventoryItem row.No matter what, I was getting empty fields for those two columns. So, for testing I stripped it down to just set those two columns to Item.UsrUPC and Item.Descr. Then when that works, add functionality to pull from the file.My import scenario is fully functional, except where it is pulling Item.UsrUPC and Item.Descr. Here is my import scenario: Any ideas why it is not pulling Item.Descr and Item.UsrUPC?

We have a Generic Inquiry that has the Customer.ParentAccountID and not all of the parent accounts have that that number all by itself (the account number also, in some cases, has the name of the customer). I was thinking in that case to use a SWITCH similar to the one here:=IIF([Customer.ParentBAccountID] = ' ', [Customer.AcctCD]) but that is not working also. Also I am not sure if the Customer.ParentAccountID is empty or NULL. I know that the Customer.ParentAccountID should be showing up because when I do a CRTL+ALT the Element property shows the field as Customer.AcctCD. I also thought about getting just the number portion of the AcctCD but that seems more work then necessary. I could use any suggestions that the Community may have.There are accounts whereby the Customer.ParentBAccountID is showing up correctly on that column.In this case the Customer.ParentBAccountID = ‘ ‘ or NULL and the customer.AcctCD is 16310 - Grainer. 

I need a margin report (like the sales profitability report) that includes our freight/delivery costs.Our sales prices are delivered prices and don’t include the delivery price charged to the customer.At present, I am using a generic enquiry linked to excel, and then manually allocating the freight/delivery cost manually.What’s the best way for me to automate this process??I was thinking of using a custom field during the A/P entry for sales order, and then somehow linking this to a new generic enquiry.Wanted to check that Acumatica doesn’t do something like this out of the box…..I have attached my excel report headings...

I'm encountering an issue while attempting to create a purchase order through the API using Postman. Here's how I've proceeded: first, I generated an access token using Resource Owner Password Credentials. Then, I exchanged this token for a code to proceed with the purchase order creation. In the request body, I included a default raw dict that I found in the Acumatica discussion forum.However, despite following these steps, I'm encountering an error. Could someone please offer guidance on how to resolve this issue? I could identify individual sales orders that has attachment or notes , however I would like to see the list of sales order that has NOTES in it by filtering . Also I would like to see the sales orders that has attachements in it. I want to filter the sales order based on these conditions in the Sales Orders screen.  

We are scheduled to go live with Acumatica in the next few weeks. We have been working in a sandbox tenant of the software and want to make sure all our settings are correct before fully switching over. In our Warehouses in the sandbox, certain GL Accounts settings are mandatory, but in the live tenant they aren’t (both screenshots below). Any ideas what settings/data/other would be forcing the sandbox tenant to make these settings mandatory when they aren’t in the live tenant?Thanks

Hello Developers,I am relatively new in Acumatica REST API development.I have an interesting case where I need to manipulate data of a custom table which was created by a Customisation Project.Based on what I have learned so far, I would need to create a DAC for the custom table and then create a form or Generic Inquiry to access that table. Then I could add a custom endpoint based on this new form or GI .I am not sure if this will work, but I would like to hear from your experience about accessing custom tables. Any contribution is appreciated.

Hey folks, doing some testing in Sandbox and encountered this error when using the Commerce Connector to prepare data (Refund Entity):  Anyone encounter this before?  It didn’t seem to prevent items from being prepared, although I”m not sure it capture all of them.  I was having intermittent internet connectivity issues as well, I’m wondering if that’s what caused this error….Cheers,k2
