I am having one heck of a time configuring a clearing accounts to use them for bank deposits. I’m using the guide from here: https://fedcoseeds.acumatica.com/(W(29))/Help?CompanyID=Test+March+2nd&ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=323644f1-ea34-4377-92bc-c1fcb4a86d05 But I must be misunderstanding something. I created the clearing account: I did not put any entry types.I made sure the clearing account could be use in the Payment Methods  I created a test sales order, made a prepayment using the clearing accountI go to the bank deposit screen and enter the following:  But when I click “Add Payment” I cannot get the clearing account to appear as an option: I’m sure I’m just missing a small connecting piece.Thanks!

I’m trying to upload my customer information list and I keep getting an error in my import by scenario. I just want a way where Acumatica doesn’t pay attention to the way the postal code is written and have it upload the format that I have it as.This is just one example but I have many other countries as well

I know more than the basics in Acumatica but this one I’m wondering if a) is this possible? and/or b) should it even be attempted?I need to create a generic inquiry that would show on hand qty for all configured items, with their configurations listed.Help?

I have a customer evaluating DRP, they use an outsourced manufacturer and own all of their inventory, The Manufacturer only provides the labor for the assembly to create the KITS.   The KITS are made to order using stock items. We were hoping that DRP would provide the demand for the KIT assembly based on Sales demand, not seeing that it does that.  Also based on the functionality the planning only works with either a value for safety stock or a value for reorder point.  Neither of these are actually based on SO demand.  It would work if they wanted to have these completed KITS on hand but they do not wish to have any on hand, all KITS are made to order based on SO demand. Has anyone had a similar use case?

Hello Acumatica Developer Community,I'm currently working on implementing an integration with Acumatica and have a question about the best approach for handling multi-tenant authentication. Authentication ChallengeFor OAuth authentication, we need to store and manage client ID and client secret credentials. Since Acumatica supports multiple tenants, I'm wondering about the best practice for handling authentication in this context.For multi-tenant support, we need to determine if Acumatica requires separate client credentials per tenant: Does each tenant instance require unique client ID/secret pairs in Acumatica, or can a single set of credentials work across multiple tenant instances with the same base domain? Thank you!

I have added Terms to the AR Aging period sensitive report in Report Designer.  However, it is only pulling the Terms for customers that have only invoices and debit memos, not payments and credit memos.  I believe I need to pull the terms id from the Customer Master, but have not been successful with using the Add Schema fields to find how what needs to be linked to pull in the Customer Master Terms id.Does anyone have an example of how they have accomplished this?Thank you,Beth

HI All, As per best practices  and its Normal and Simple  Process   as per my Knowledge across during the years the following is the Transaction entries which will clear the Purchase Receipt and return Purchase receipt Inventory Account  Dr.Purchase Accrual Account Cr. Return Before Invoice / Bill Created Purchase Accrual Account Dr.Inventory Account  CrBy this  both the account get cleared  and reconciled as well. if its Partial return Yes the balance remain  and  which can be cleared by Bill as its not retuned  As per the Functionality of Acumatica we need to create a AP Bill and a Debit adjustment for any return ?? though both PR and return has been Processed both Transaction remain uncleared in the accrual Account why this is required  and the logic behind this Functionality ?   

Hi Everyone,I have recentlyt taken over as the Finance Manager of an organisation that uses Myob Advanced. Unfortunately, the organisation has undergone a massive downsizing and MYOB Advanced’s functionalities are not needed and to be honest cannot be justified from a cost perspective.I’d appreciate any advice on how to move from MYOB Advanced to MYOB Accountright. Thanks

I’ve found 35 topics tagged with ‘Import and Export Scenarios’ that have the word attribute in them, but haven’t found one that lets you import an actual attribute, not a attribute value on another screen.  Is this possible?  This does not work for me, but I’m not sure why.The attribute’s ID is ‘LOCAL’.  It is of type text.The data looks like this with fake values for demonstration:AttributeID     Value     ValueIDLOCAL           cat          1LOCAL           dog         2LOCAL           mouse    3 Any help or examples would be appreciated.Thank you!

I am trying to replace the Owner ID in a generic Inquiry into the project managers Initials.  I created the formula below: =IIf([PMProject.ownerID]='Joel Darby','JD',(IIf([PMProject.ownerID]='Daniel Bandanza','DZ',(IIf([PMProject.ownerID]='Michael McLaughlin','MM',(IIF([PMProject.ownerID]='David Dunn','DD',(IIf([PMProject.ownerID]='Josh Lavallee','JL',(IIf([PMProject.ownerID]='Daniel Mahr','DM',null)))))))))))I am getting the Error message Conversion failed when converting the varchar value 'Joel Darby' to data type int. when using PMProject.OwnerID in a generic Inquiry formula.  When I just pull the data field It shows up as the full name but the DAC is telling me it’s type int which I am assuming is why I am getting the error message so is it maybe pulling the PKID?  I can’t find anywhere else where I can pull that info as varchar.

My team is looking to see Released Date AND Time, currently, I can only see it doing one or the other and I am not sure how to add the same column a second time for the second option, or to configure the field to be a DateTime field.  True = Time, False/Blank = Date. I have not done much with custom projects, but I figured this would have been an easier modification I could do for them.

I have the setting in Sales Order Preferences called ‘Add Zero Lines for Items Not in Stock’ checked, as well as ‘Create Zero Shipments’:When I create a Sales Order with ‘Back Order Allowed’ checked, and each line also has ‘Back Order Allowed’ as the Shipping Rule, I can get a 0 line on the shipment:However, if the line has ‘Mark for PO’ checked and/or has a linked PO, it is not offered for the shipment:The same occurs if it has ‘Mark for Production’ checked. It doesn’t make sense to me that this option would not work when products are coming from other places than stock. Am I misunderstanding how this option is supposed to work? Has anyone else seen this behavior?Thank you for reading.

I have a PO that was setup with the wrong Vendor.  I received an invoice for the PO and created the PO Receipt before I realized that the Vendor was wrong. I did a Return of the PO Receipt (essentially nullifying the POR).  This Return actually created a second POR which reversed the first one, so all items on the PO are back to “un-receipted”. I want to correct the Vendor on the PO but since there is a link to to the “received” POR and the “returned” POR, the system won’t let me change the Vendor.  I get an error message saying - “You cannot change the vendor for this purchase order because it has purchased receipts linked.”Is there a way to remove the link to these two PORs to the PO?

Hello Community, I had an import scenario created for the row set form previously that worked fine but there looks to have been updates sometime in 2024 R2 that changed the import scenarios target object fields and actions. Specifically, in regard to the data source column. It does fully import but not setting the fields inside the data source where I am attempting to update the “Account Class”. Before version that did work:New version attempt:Again, both versions import, but only the first one sets the account class appropriately. Any help would be appreciated! Attached is the one from version 2024 R2 24.206.0014 I am attempting to get to work.Thanks,Adam

I would like to pass the value in a dashboard parameter to a generic Inquiry parameter using the Link Widget.Can this be done? If so, what is the proper syntax?I have tried the following:GIParameter = DashboardParameter results in the GI parameter populated with the string DashboardParameter not the value of the DashboardParameter.GIParameter = [DashboardParameter] results in the GI parameter populated with the string [DashboardParameter] not the value of the DashboardParameter.GIParameter = @DashboardParameter results in the GI parameter populated with the string @DashboardParameter not the value of the DashboardParameter. 

Very simple Request, adding the GL Account and Subaccount to the Details Section for the Bills and Adjustments when accessing through Approvals.Here is my attempt to add both ID and Description: “Account” and “Subaccount” are the only ones added and it is the Description that’s displayed rather than the ID. Tried a few different things without success. I always get the Description rather than the actual Account Number. Any ideas? 

Urgent, please help!I cannot publish anything, everything just says validation failed with no error message at all. I have published all of these successfully for many months and all of them just give this message. Any ideas? 

Is there a reference list of all the controls and their properties and methods somewhere in acumatica help or somewhere else? I can’t fseem to find one. I’m probably just looking in the wrong place.

Is there an issue with copying fields over to an asset when converting from a purchase? The only information that gets pulled over is the receipt number which is not even going into the correct field. Do end users have to go into every single asset to manually enter the receipt type, PO number even if they create the asset through the Convert Purchases to Assets process?   Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank!

We have extended BCSalesOrderProcessor to loop through the Big Commerce modifiers for a line item and append the description to the SOLine description field.  It works well, but the problem is that if there are many modifiers the data exceeds the LineDescription field length of 255 characters and is truncated.Current code:  public class BCSalesOrderProcessor_Extension : PXGraphExtension<PX.Commerce.BigCommerce.BCSalesOrderProcessor>  {    ….              detail.LineDescription.Value = detail.LineDescription.Value + "\r\n" + GetModifiers(data); }GetModifiers is a function that retrieves the list of modifiers and values for the line.Options under consideration are:Write the description to the sales order line note (looking for syntax to do that)  Create a custom field on SOLine with more characters  OR Increase the field size of LineDescription on SOLineThoughts or recommendations?  If someone can help with the syntax to populate the note from BCSalesOrderProcessor extension that w
