Client is using the clock entry to record labor on production orders.  The calendar has specific break times noted.  It appears that the employee has to clock out for breaks.  What is the point of setting up these break times if they are not taken into account in clock entry?  This just adds another set of clock in and clock out for the employee. Am I missing a setting?  What are the break times used for?  Seems just informational on the calendar.  (client is not using MFG - APS Module) Any advice? 

I exported items from one tenant and am trying to import to another tenant. Item classes have all been configured the same way. I get the following error: Field: Item Class, Value: DIRECT -LABOURBEN , Error: 'Item Class' cannot be found in the system.I suspect the issue is that item class is actually “DIRECT    -LABOURBEN          ” since segmented key is 30 characters. The values exported without all the spaces, so I tried adding them in Excel before uploading file. However, when preparing data on Import by Scenario screen, values appear without spaces on the end. Acumatica removes them.Anyone know how I can resolve this? Could be wrong about the cause, open to suggestions. I’m easily able to call OData enabled generic inquiries from Postman and also make the mass metadata call for all enabled GIs.  Is there a way to pull the metadata for only a single GI?  Copilot indicates that the format is https://[YourAcumaticaInstance]/OData/[GenericInquiryName]/$metadata but that doesn’t work.  The result is a 500 internal server error with the request profiler showing “Invalid action detected. ‘$metadata’ is not an action that can bind to collection...etc.”.  If I try alternate formats including using the metadata link returned in a Postman response, I either get the full metadata catalog, a more robust response for the GI result, or a similar 500 error.  Is there some action required to allow individual metadata calls?  Thanks.

I am unable to refresh the screen automatically after attaching a file using the file icon on the toolbar. Currently, I have to manually refresh the screen. Please suggest the best practice to handle this.

Hello; i’m struggling to activate my Price class field in my Generic Inquiry.I’ve gotten it to work before...but i had to switch from billing to shipping addresses and having rebuilt it, i broke it and cant get it again lol. So far, I’ve had success using the DAC browser and following what they state via the element inspector, albeit some are backwards to what the browser says.  Is there a resource that explains more thorough how to find these relation partnerships? I sorta understand but some change and i get confused. 

Hi -We need the functionality to send a business event email that contains a group of records from a GI, rather than separate emails for each records. This has come up in multiple scenarios, and it seems the only option is to create a custom report to attach to the email, or just send a generic email with a hyper link to a GI. This functionality is highly needed - we have consulted with our strategic partner and have been told it is not possible. Here are a couple of current scenarios, but I could see multiple areas this functionality would be necessary:Email that contains all purchase orders or purchased items that are more than 5 days late in arriving. Email would contain a list of each item with its description, project and promised date with a hyperlink to corresponding order. AP Approval emails - our employees are getting bombarded with many approval emails in a day. A more sustainable solution would be 1 single email daily with a summary of each item to be approved.

Using the project editor, I add UsrDepartment to the Bills and Adjustments screen.  It is a simple selector.  When the filed was added, it created it in the ARRegister table.I want the field to be required.  I did not use [PXDefault] in the DAC in case there are legacy records where that field is null, and I don’t want any other processes to fail if that field is null.In order to make the field required, I added code to the RowPersisting event hander on the APInvoice DAC.In order to get the value in the field, I need to get the extension on the ARRegister DAC.If you are saving an EXISTING invoice, everything works fine, and the field is marked as an error with a message.MY FIRST CHOICE: When you save the invoice and you do not supply the department, I want to mark the field with a propertyexception.However, if you try to save a NEW record and the field is empty, I get an unexpected error.I can get around this by throwing a PXException to the screen, but I want to actually flag the fiel

Hello,In the classic UI, we can perform some low code screen customizations (i.e. Wrap text on a description field) via the screen editor in a customization package.  When that customization is published, the changes don’t port to the modern ui.  How do we perform low code screen customizations in the modern UI?

If we do publish with clean Up, will that leads to delete all the custom GI’s which are not in any custom packages.

I am stuck trying to add the option to scan a projectid and project task to the Scan and Transfer form. Trying to follow the documentation and the abstract examples but I can’t get the task added in correctly. I’ve added what I have so far. The actual task is bare bones, I get how to edit those for the most part.

I understand on how to embed the our company’s logo into a report, but I’m having issues trying to wrap my head around how to embed a customers logo into a report. We have three customers whereby thier logo needs to be embedded into a customized packing list for each of them.

The customer walks in to the counter to return and replace an item.  The replacement item must be picked and processed in the warehouse but the mixed order type cannot do a shipment  Using the RMA order type requires a Receipt to be processed.  There is not a desire to go thru the entire shipping process for the receipt, just return it to the default RMA bin (MO orders DO NOT default the location to the RMA location which is a bug).

I want to upload excel in the Purchase receipt screen in the document details tab but when I allow the upload from the grid in the in the screen customization the upload button is disabled and the solution is adding Pximport to the graph before the view  but I do not have the graph in my customization project because this graph is default in the website

How do I hide the "Files" and "Notes" columns in a generic inquiry? I don’t mean removing default visibility, I mean suppressing them from the results grid altogether.I have an inquiry related to certain employee attributes that I want all users to be able to see, but I don't want them to see notes or attachments we've placed on employee records. The inquiry is allowing this even if they don’t have access to the underlying records.I looked for a different table join that would marry the PX.Objects.EP.EPEmployee and PS.Objects.CS.CSAnswers tables without using the NoteID/RefNoteID fields, but I couldn’t figure out an alternative.

I’m trying to convert a BA to a customer in the import scenario screen. I received an error that said “edit customer”.. I only had the businesss account id  and then the action to extend as customer. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi, Is it possible to identify duplicate entries through a generic inquiry, If possible could you please provide a quick guide to detect the duplicate. Example - Customer order number in the invoices and memos form can be duplicated. I need to generate a generic inquiry which picks only the invoices with duplicated Customer order number.  Thanks,Dulanjana 

Acumatica has a built in function to “recalculate” various balances such as vendor and inventory.  We have been live for eighteen months and have never run these “recalculate” functions.  Recently, we noticed an error in our inventory and our VAR suggested we run the “recalcuate inventory” function. We ran the fuction and it fixed our error.  My questions is should we run all of these “recalculate” functions regularly such as monthly or quarterly?  Is there any harm in running these recalculate funtions more often?  

Greetings, I am trying to work though something, but I am hitting a bit of a wall. This is the request of a client. They have a simple AR tran inquiry but instead of pulling all the records, they only want to pull the most recent ar tran line per customer. It needs to be accurate for that line, so I can’t do any grouping since the values don’t generally fall within the min/max/average solutions.

Hi All,We are trying to provide an access to a customer, to our internal ERP as we cannot enable Customer Portal due to Multiple base currencies feature been enabled.The approach we are trying to execute is to create an external/ guest user who will have access only to a specific customer related cases with view only access to their cases.When restricting the access i have created a custom GI which was derived from the cases GI CR3060PLHowever, if i revoke access to cases form i do not have access to click the custom GI lines and view the cases in CR306000Is there any possibility for us to only give access to the custom GI and perhaps hide the CR3060PL (Cases) from the customer’s user?Thank you all in advance for your support!

Can Acumatica handle tracking Leave Without Pay?  I need to track the hours but the pay is 0.00. I setup an Earning Type for this and added it to my paycheck test in Paychecks and Adjustments.  I was able to add the earnings detail line with hours and set the pay rate to 0.00 however, during the Calculation process, Acumatica removed the line.  Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
