Hello All,I have prepyament entry but it didn’t applied the bill. Also, the bill is created and closed so how to clear out prepayment. it’s still open status. 

Hi!I have a specific scenario in MultiCompany/Branch environment related to access rights.Our customer has 3 different stores and each store has a warehouse related. A user of one store should only have access to warehouse inventory from another store but it should not be able to work in other branch than the one that has been assigned. I dont see a feature that could help me with this (access roles, restriction groups, restrict visibility). Does anyone have a configuration like this? Thanks.

Hi CommunityI have ha this issue before but I cannot remember how I resolved it.Client wants to reverse application on a payment but cannot release the document. It gives the error “The document is out of the balance.”They do not want to allocate another invoice immediately.Please remind me of the solution.regards 

We are trying to reverse a payment application on an AP Bill through Checks and Payments on the Application History tab. We get an error of “SO Error:  the document is out of balance”. Any idea why? The “Reverse Application” works fine on the AR side, but it is not working on our AP side.Thanks!

I am trying to approve a time off request but I see the Insufficient stack error:  I also see it when I try to enter my time in the Activities tab for a project. This occurred after we upgraded to 2024 R2. I tried to reset the caches and restart the website but nothing, what could resolve this error?. Thank you again

If a sales order item only has a single price and not a calculation procedure used to determine the net price, how would you calculate sales tax on an alternate amount?  One of our companies sells products at wholesale to independent contractors who in turn sell those products at retail to end customers.  The company is responsible for calculating, reporting, and remitting sales tax on the order item that was sold to the contractor, BUT that sales tax is calculated on the retail price of the item, not the wholesale price.  That’s a very easy task in our current ERP, which can have any number of “statistical” pricing conditions on the order item pricing procedure.  I’m not able to picture how that would work in Acumatica.  Thanks.

Hello all,The below is a follow up question re the below post.With ​@andriitkachenko help I have almost completed a derived class on “EPApprovalAutomation”. Now I am going to call it in “APInvoiceEntry” graph extension. It works as expected if in the Approval Maps screen (EP205015) the “Reason for Approval” and/or “Reason for Rejection” is set to “Is Not Prompted”. As soon as I set their value to either “Is Required” or “Is Optional” that requires the engine to display the “Enter Reason” dialog, I get this error that “Error: A dialog cannot be requested”.I tested the “Reassign” that also displays dialog too but this works fine (Acumatica base code added the Approve/Reject actions through the workflow extensions but Reassign action is added in the EPApprovalAutomation class though)I thought maybe the derived class initialization override causes issue and spent quite bit of time on it but couldn’t find anything wrong with the Derived class. I cannot seem to get the relations working on this table, and im baffled since it seems like it should be as simple as simple gets.Case: I am making a nested GI, all the sub-GI’s work fine. they consist of a date column and a column showing the needed value for the item in question.The issue is each day will only have one or two columns of data, so as a foundation/starting point for the nested GI im using the SM.DateInfo table, then making relations to the sub-GI’s using a left join. This connection simply will not work. I tried using just the DateInfo and SOOrder table and doing a similar left join, hoping a stock table would work, and nothing. I even tried to convert the date on other tables to an integer and join with the DateInfo.DateInt field to no avail.As a separate test i made a GI with just the DateInfo table, have the results grid show just the date field, and tried to put conditions on it to pare down the results. Between Today()-400 and Today(). i get no results. Again, no

Hello Guys,i have created two customerfieldsUsrStandorte1 , Fieldname: Leistungsstandort UsrStandorte2 , Fieldname: LeistungsstandortUsrStandorte1 is in Screen ID : IN202000 UsrStandorte2 is in Screen ID : SO301000 I want the field UsrStandort2 to automatically take its value from UsrStandort1. This should be done via customizations, but I haven’t been able to get it to work. Does anyone have a tip on how to approach this? Hope you can lend me a hand

I’m trying to modify the existing Journal Transaction report to ignore subaccounts.  We have subaccount enabled in our set up but it is only meaningful in certain situations.  When I want to look at the activity in an ACCOUNT, I don’t want it broken up by subaccount. I know the GLHistory tables are used to pull the opening balances and they are organized by account & subaccount.  When I try to collapse the grouping around subaccount I get garbage for opening balances.I’ve also tried abandoning the GLHistory table and have built up the opening balance by pulling in all records from GLTRAN and totaling all of the DR/(CR)’s prior to the period I want.  But, I can’t get that calculated variable to pass from the detail section of the report to the header section for the account.  Can anyone suggest an approach to either pull the combined records from GLHISTORY or how to pass a variable from a detail section BACK to a header section.Thanks in advance.

Are there any solutions out there that would allow for upwards of 5000 task lines on a project? We realize there are limitations based on tiers, but we are getting stopped when we upload a certain number of rows to populate a cost budget. Are we misunderstanding the line upload limitation as an upload is the same as a “commercial transaction”?Or is there a way to do Parent Projects and Subprojects? Are there any solutions out there that would tackle that? Would love to hear anyone’s ideas. Thank you!

When creating a kit assembly, we’ve found that lotted components are automatically allocated based on the FIFO setting on the Serial/Lot class.  However the not tracked components require a Default Issue From value on the Item Warehouse Details form, or the Line Details need to be specified manually.When a shipment is created from a sales order and includes these same not tracked components, the components are automatically allocated based on the pick priority of the locations on the warehouse.  Is this the expected behavior for kit assemblies?  Any ideas how to automate this so that the location can be dynamic, similar to how it already works for shipments?Thanks in advance!Laura

Use case: We have some expense items configured to post to job-related GL accounts and others configured to post to G&A GL accounts.  How can we enforce the correct pairing of these expense items with projects on expense receipts?Scenario 1: A user creates an expense receipt for the purchase of job materials and enters an expense item that posts to a job-related GL account.  How can we make the entry of Project/Project Task/Cost Code required for this scenario and prohibit entering Project X - Non-Project Code?Scenario 2: A user creates an expense receipt for the purchase of office supplies and enters an expense item that posts to a G&A GL account.  How can we force the entry of Project X - Non-Project Code?

Ideally, I want to view a detailed history or trail that includes all screens the user interacted with and any changes they made across the system (such as record updates, document edits, field-level changes, etc.).Is there a Generic Inquiry or report that provides this kind of audit trail? The Additional Sorting condition does not seem to be working.  To explain further, here is the sorting/ grouping done in the report designer. However, when we tried to use the ‘Sales Order.Sched. Shipment’ in the Additional Sort and Filters: Additional Sorting Condition which doesn’t seem to be working. I even tried to output the Sched. Shipment Date in the report itself. I hope you can help Identify what I am doing wrong. I have attached the actual report just in case you may want to take a deep dive on the report. We have several assets with NBV of $0.00 and beyond the end of Useful Life, but the status of the asset is still Active, while the status on the Balance tab shows Fully Depreciated. See below: How do we get the statuses to synch up? This is not the case with all assets with no NBV.Thanks.
