Acumatica allows us to create Unit Of Measure Conversions, which is extremely helpful. It allows clients to sell the same item as an ‘each’ or a ‘case’ and counts it as 1 item which can be differentiated in the cross reference as 2 separate barcodes. So the warehouse can scan either the barcode on the individual item (the ‘each’) or the barcode on the case of 4 (the ‘case’). In Shopify & BigCommerce you are not able to create Unit of Measure conversions. You are required to create a variant for the each and the case instead. With this in mind how can these 2 differences still work with the commerce connector? It appears to me like I may be forced to have my client create 2 separate stock items in Acumatica, then create a Template item, plus new attributes, then add them to the Item Class, then add these 2 items to the Template item, as well as require them to maintain 2 separate inventories for the same 1 item moving forward just so they can sell it as an ‘each’ or a ‘case.’ I hope
Hello, as you know Acumatica has a commerce connector with shopify. I read documentation but I did not find if there is a restriction with versions of shopify, do you know if acumatica is compatible with any version?
We need advice on what Acumatica security rights we must ive to third-party developers of our Dashboards and Business Events. We would prefer not to give them “admin” rights if at all possible. We prefer to give them the minumum rights possible to create dashboards and business events and nothing more so our system is safe. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Is it possible to lock down the editing permissions for Bills & Adjustments (view only) except for those Bills that they're assigned to be an approver of? For example, we'd want them to be able to change the GL Account, add lines, etc. but we don't want them to do that for Bills outside of their department. I feel like that's probably a standard capability, but I can't figure out how to get the access rights to do it that way.
Just need to clarify - does the ecommerce connector support syncing a stock item attribute to a product variant metafield in Shopify? Or does it only support syncing to a product metafield?
Hi all,The Commerce Retail team has recently introduced the Product Import feature, and in this topic I would like to share how vendor details from the Vendor field in a Shopify store map with the Vendor tab in the ERP when we use product synchronization in import (bidirectional) direction. In the screenshot below, you can see an example of successful mapping when the XIANGTAN Apparel from Shopify matched CONXIAN vendor ID with the same vendor name "XIANGTAN Apparel":To import vendor details into the product, users need to create the vendor inside the ERP using the vendor name in Shopify as Account Name for the General tab of the Vendors (AP303000) form in the ERP. A vendor from the Shopify store will be imported into the product only if its name matches (case-insensitively) to the Account Name of the vendor:If the name of a vendor from the Shopify store does not match any Account Name from the General tab of the Vendors (AP303000) form in the ERP, the vendor from the Shopify store wil
This feels like an answer that should be found in the help articles, but I can’t find anything. How do we set the character limit for an Attribute of Control Type Text? I’m trying to import to an attribute and got this error:
Customer invoices are not automatically getting recorded in the Customer’s Profile under “Activities”. We have CRM if that matters. Should customer invoices automatically be recorded in Activites? If not automatic, how can we get the customer invoices to be recorded in Activities?
Why do we not have the option to override the ship to address on invoices? We actually receive many requests from our customers to change the ship to address after the invoice has been issued. Why was this capability removed? When we first launched with Acumatica we were able to change it.
Hello,I was recently informed by a client using the Shopify Commerce Connector that confirmed Shipments are now syncing the Acumatica Ship Via to Shopify and displaying it only in the Shopify Shipment Confirmation email being emailed to customers. Their Ship Vias make sense to their team internally but is causing confusion/concerns with customers receiving emails notifying them their Shipment was sent via the “Cheapest” shipping option. I could not find a way to unmap this using the entities mapping for Shipments or Sales Orders. Is there a way to unmap this from being exported? Or any potential workarounds? Thanks!
I frequently receive inquires about the details of how payments are handled between eCommerce platforms and Acumatica. Below are details about this topic. Common eCommerce Merchant ProfilesWe see 2 primary types of Merchants who are selling via eCommerce and managing their back office via Acumatica.B2C/D2C Merchants Often, individual orders are small. B2C/D2C merchants rarely sell items which cost more than $2k Most Consumer purchases are done with a CC Sometimes merchants allow buyers to place an order, pickup/pay in store B2B Merchants Orders are typically larger Common to see orders which total at $5k - $30k Some buyers want to use CC for payment, or it's a requirement of the seller Many buyers will prefer to pay by check via NET30/NET45 Terms Rule of Thumb - best to not try to guess at how merchants will want to handle payments. Every merchant is different, and it's not an area where they are flexible. Goal is to make the technology as flexible/extendable as possible to acc
Hi All, Not sure if anyone can help (Even just to confirm). We have setup the acumiatica with BigCommerce conector. For the most part it has all been tedious but there seems to be a short fall in the amount of attributes you can/not sync from acumatica to Big Commerce. ONe specific that comes to mind is the matrix/variant attributes. Specifically we wanted to send across the matrix products width, depth and height AS per acumatica: There doesnt seem to be any defaults for anything of these. Thanks,,Ben.
I am having trouble controlling sales of different matrix items. We sell both on Shopify and enter order directly in Acumatica, so the item status field is important when we need to shut off sales. Most of our items are set up at template items, each template has different package sizes. We often have to set the item status to “No Sales” when we are sold out of a package size. When we have to turn off multiple matrix items under the template, it often times fails in the sync to Shopify saying “No matrix items are generated”. This is turn does nothing on Shopify and will allow sales to come down on items we are sold out of.Has anyone else experienced this issue with the ecommerce connector? Ideally we want to have template items so we can have multiple options on one product page, but we want to control each matrix item like it is a single stock item.
Any developers here? Do you know the logic of Ship Via import from BigCommerce in 23R1?We have this weird scenario, where if an order has a shipping method in BC that is not mapped on the BigCommerce Stores > Shipping Methods screen, Acumatica will not throw an error on import, but will use a UPSGROUND shipping method. We used to have a formula in Sales Orders entities screen for Ship Via, like this:=iif(InStr([OrderData -> OrderShippingAddresses.ShippingMethod], 'Ground')<>-1,'UPSGROUND',iif(InStr([OrderData -> OrderShippingAddresses.ShippingMethod], 'Standard')<>-1,'UPSSTD',iif(InStr([OrderData -> OrderShippingAddresses.ShippingMethod], 'Early')<>-1,'UPSNDAAM',iif(InStr([OrderData -> OrderShippingAddresses.ShippingMethod], '2nd Day Air')<>-1,'UPS2Day',iif(InStr([OrderData -> OrderShippingAddresses.ShippingMethod], 'Next Day Air')<>-1,'UPSNDA',iif(InStr([OrderData -> OrderShippingAddresses.ShippingMethod], 'Express')<>-1,'UPSWWEX
I am experiencing a new issue with our Acumatica/Shopify connector. Our company has created many template items in Acumatica, each having multiple matrix items. We did this so we could sync products to Shopify and create one product page, with multiple matrix items (variant options on Shopify) on that one page. However in some cases the matrix items are missing from Shopify even though the template and the matrix items are all active with inventory available. We have a schedule running on the product availability entity to run every 10 min. I get this error in the sync history screen. Hoping someone on here has had a similar experience or can point out what I may be doing wrong.
How do we set up Big Commerce to sync the correct salesperson bidirectionally? If the salesperson is changed on either platform, we need them to mirror each other. I can’t find it in the sync mapping, and it doesn’t seem to do it on it’s own through the customer syncing.
Is there a preferred method for adding a restocking fee to an RC return order? Our thought was to create a “RESTOCKFEE” non-stock item and add it to the RC with a negative amount to subtract the fee from the return. Does this make sense, or is there a better way to go about this?
Not sure what this one is about… I tried clearing sync data for this Entity and Preparing + Processing again but the same Error occurs.
This is a unique encounter in our system. On the bigcommerce side (where the orders are created) the customer purchased 14 different products upon syncing on Acumatica only the 13 products are in the SO because of that the total is different. Note: All products in the list are already synced and active.Error Message: The status of the SC014658 order does not allow modifications. Please synchronize records manually. What do you think is the problem?
We have an entity that is not using Acumatica. When we sell product to this entity we sell it at our cost (Unit Price). Currently when we create a new Sales Order for this entity we have to manually update the Unit Price for every line on the sales order. These sales orders usually has a large number of lines, which adds significant time to the process. Also we are using Average Costing so the Unit Cost can change when a new PO is received. This means adding special pricing for this entity in the Sales Price form is not realistic. Is there a way based on the Sales Order Customer to pull the Unit Cost into the Unit Price field?Thank you!
We are having an issue with the online sales orders. In our specific case, our Main warehouse is “01” and our Online warehouse is “10”. In Acumatica, all inventory items have “01” as the Default Warehouse. In the BC Connector we are syncing data only from warehouse “10” (Warehouse Mode: Specific – “10”). . All incoming BC orders are defaulting to the Default Warehouse and not the Specific Warehouse in the connector. We must manually change the warehouse from “01” to “10” on all online orders. High demand products are oversold because Acumatica is not “subtracting” inventory from the correct warehouse. We need to somehow “force” all incoming BC orders to pull inventory from warehouse “10”.Anybody knows how could this been done with configuration?
In our Shopify connector we get this error code on the customer entity that reads “Error on phone: Phone number already been taken.” Or it will read “Error on phone: Enter a valid phone number.” It prevents the customer record from syncing to Shopify, and will also prevent a new sales order for a given customer to sync into Acumatica. It seems like the system is doing some sort of validation on the phone number field on the customer, this is the field on the general tab under the additional account info section.
Is there any way to sync the current effective Sales Price for a product over to Shopify instead of the Default Price?
We are attempting to sync Template/Matrix items from Acumatica to BigCommerce. This is the error message we are seeing on the Sync processing“At least two values of the attribute XYZ have the same description. Specify a unique description for each attribute value, and process the record again”I am assuming this is an impact because of the Attribute option description :.But is the connector triggering off of Descriptions at the Attribute level even though the Matrix Combination itself is unique: Any assistance on thoughts here would be extremely helpful.
Hi there, we have a customization where we have overridden the GetBucketForImport method in BCSalesOrderProcessor.cs graph. After overridden we are facing issue at await keyword. Please refer the below screenshots and code.Overridden code: public delegate Task<EntityStatus> GetBucketForImportDelegate(BCSalesOrderBucket bucket, BCSyncStatus syncstatus, CancellationToken cancellationToken); [PXOverride] public async Task<EntityStatus> GetBucketForImport(BCSalesOrderBucket bucket, BCSyncStatus syncstatus, CancellationToken cancellationToken, GetBucketForImportDelegate baseMethod) { OrderData data = await orderDataProvider.GetByID(syncstatus.ExternID); if (data == null) return EntityStatus.None; await Task.Yield(); data.OrderProducts = new List<OrdersProductData>(); await foreach (var item in orderProductsRestDataProvider.GetAll(syncstatus.ExternID, cancellationToken)) { d
