Import and Export Scenarios

Hello!I’m required to hide multiple transactions on the Process Transaction form and is there’s a way that can be done through import scenarios?Thank You!  

I would appreciate some help please.I am trying to close old Sales Quotes (Screen: CR304500).I have found that doing it via the Sales Quotes screen errors all the time because the quote is linked to an opportunity.  I then tried to do it via the Opportunity screen.  The import ran and said complete but it did not change the status of the quote, it did nothing.I have also tried to update the expiration date using very similar scenario and it also said complete but did not update the date.Can these type of changes be done using import?Here is my scenario: 

Hi, I am creating an import scenario for import bank transactions screen to import a csv file as my data provider. I was hoping to get answers to a couple of questions below please.In my csv file, I have a Beginning and Ending balance column which I think is wrong because you only enter them once in the UI. You don’t enter them line by line. How should I include my beginning and ending balance in my CSV file?    CSV file with Beginning and Ending Balance  In the above screenshot, the Amount column goes to positive and negative goes to disbursement. I’ve attached my import scenario. However, it is giving me an error below.    

Hello,  I have a client that is asking for an export from Acumatica that they will upload to their bank so that the bank (Truist) can print checks on their behalf.  This is not an ACH file. We need similar information, but the sample layout is rather different.  Has anyone created an export scenario for this sort of file?  I don’t think check printing outsourcing is uncommon, but I can’t find an existing scenario to start from.  This is likely similar to creating an export or integration to Bill.com, but we need an export not an integration.   Any help is much appreciated!   

Below is the import scenario I am trying to use to get our fixed assets into Acumatica.  When I run the import by scenario, it shows that the records processed, but nothing appears in the fixed assets form. 

Our bank is requesting that we add an additional value to the NACHA export file. I have made the spot on the file export, but I can’t figure out how to get the data into the export scenario. The value we want to add is APInvoice.InvoiceNbr. I see the export scenario has this APPaymentList source object, but how do I know what is on that or modify to add additional data?Appreciate the help.

Hi everyone,I’m working on an import scenario for the Shipments screen (SO302000) to upload serial numbers on the Line Details screen.Right now, my scenario finds the shipment and uploads the serial numbers — but all serial numbers are ending up on the first shipment line, regardless of which item they belong to.What is the proper way to configure this import scenario,   

When I press prepare in Import by scenario I get this error message .What could be the reason I have used this import scenario before , I just added new items on the excel file and its giving this error:Exception occurred at Load The specified key does not exist. NoSuchKey SRY3C9KMQE320XV4I am getting this error on both importing Stock Items and Non Stock items.

Here is my import scenario, it feeds off a GI that JUST created the invoice, so I KNOW it has a customer ID on it…  My business event history says: 0 records of 1 have been processed. The last error was 'CustomerID' cannot be empty.These are all fully built and simply need to have “release” clicked. When I open any of the error’ed out invoices, I just hit RELEASE and it’s done, but this should be done by the import scenario, so any help is greatly appreciated since I’m clearly missing something here.

Hi All, I have a scenario where GL journals have to be exported and imported in another ERP system. after the export we would like to mark these lines as being imported so they can be obvious on a GI. I can’t work out how to get the import scenario work using the same key module, batchnumber and line numbers. any hint would be much appreciated. What am I missing here ? error is not telling me muchThank you 

Hey All,Is there a way to run or trigger multiple Export Scenarios using a single Automation Schedule in Acumatica?I attempted adding multiple conditions to the schedule, but it didn’t behave as expected.

Hello, I am creating a Business Event to update the External Ref Number field on the “Import Bank Transactions” form.  I have created an Import Scenario as the subscriber, and the mapping is as below.  For the testing purpose, I entered an action on the screen and perform the action manually. But it gives me the below error. But the scenario works and update the external number when I execute it manually. 

Good day. When Importing fixed assets I get the error “Value cannot be null. Parameter name: bookID”. Can someone guide what to check to get a successful import.

 Project Labor Rate (ScreenId=PM209900) How to change the Labor Rates on Project Labor Rate Screen with an import scenario to update the existing Labor Item (Inventory ID) for employees  We have a scenario where monthly rate exists for Employees.  That is for every employee a rate exists with an effective date.   ExampleEmployee John Rate exist for Jan 2026 and Feb 2026.  We need to run a bulk import scenario to Remove the Labor Item created on the Labor Rates screen   I can create the GI to filter for the values that require update and created the import scenario. 

I would like to be able to change values in one column at runtime. Is it possible to do that with a prompt or maybe in the Import by Scenario screen to change all the values in one column in the grid?AI suggested that this can be done by: Defining a Parameter on the Import Scenario Referencing that parameter in the Mapping (e.g., using a prompt variable) Having Acumatica prompt the user at runtime and inject that value into the mapped column for all rows It may be hallucinating since I wasn’t able to find any info on that.

Hello,I’m looking to link SOLine Files to the AMProdItem files via import scenario through the add link action or ideally directly through the file maintenance screen.Has anybody successfully done this? I’m not sure this is possible because the add link button opens up a new window to the search in files screen and the file maintenance screen apparently does not currently allow you do add an entity.  

Hello, Acumatica Team.I want to highlight an issue that I'm facing on Screen IN303000, Adjustments. I have imported an excel file of list of items that require adjustments.I have observed two issues that I'm facing - 1. When I Import list of inventory products on Adjustments screen, new random 15 - 20 entries with quantity zero are added which are not in the sheet.2. When I delete those items and then save the items already there; when I click 'Save', new random 15 - 20 entries are again added. Is this issue only on my side or is it prevalent across all acumatica users. Furthermore, this issue is observed in another user with Inventory Managment rights as well. This issue is preventing me from Releasing the Adjustments. Can anyone please help me with this issue?​@Chris Hackett 

Hi, I am trying to import AP bills. The AP Bills are tied to a PO Receipt. As well as the vendor, I have the PO number & PO Receipt Line number. I am having an issue with trying to select the Add PO Receipt Line in the Scenario. The Document is being created but nothing else is happening.(If in migration mode, you cannot use the Add PO Receipt button) Does anyone have any solutions/ideas for getting this to work?Thank you in advance!Bill

I created a new screen and I am trying to setup an import scenario to update it. I first created a data provider, import scenario, and uploaded via import by scenario to test it. That works fine. I then made a gi off of that screen and added a business event “Trigger by action” and copied the import scenario into that business event. The import by scenario works like it should. The one on the business event does not. Does anyone know why this would be and how to fix it?

I have several hundred products where the Alternate Type should be set to Vendor Part Number but it is incorrectly set to Barcode. I’m trying to create an Import Scenario to correct these in bulk but when I attempt to import it is adding a new line instead of altering the line: Here’s a screenshot of my Import Scenario: Any suggestions how to fix this so it doesn’t add a new line?

Hi, I am trying to import bank transactions with a csv file data provider. I have established the import scenario, but my condition doesn’t seem to work. It is for the amount column in my CSV file where if it’s positive, it should be a receipt and disbursement if negative:CSV fileImport scenario condition This is my error when importing: An error occurred while executing the Abs(Identifier(Amount)) function. Type mismatch in the argument 1 of the Abs() function: Expected one of the Integer types. Looks like ABS function isn’t accept by the system. Can someone help please?

Hello, I am required to export an excel from the Acumatica system and save it in my local folder or even in my drive. I tried to get this done using the Synchronization option on the file maintenance, but it gives me an error. Below is what I have configured.When I select Export File action, it gives me the below error. Is it possible to export files and kept save it in a folder or a drive, or this is not something can do within standard Acumatica?Thank You!

Hi gurus. How do I create an Import Scenario that changes the transaction dates of Open Move Transactions dated in the current month to update to the first day of next month?Users make the move transactions ahead of time and so when they go to close out EOM, they can’t because there are "open Move transactions". The import aims to just shift them to the first day of the next month e.g. 30/11/2025 > 1/12/2025. Data provider would be a GI of open move transactions.
