Hello Community,

How can I create an export scenario for SOLines and then import it using an import scenario? Where can I find detailed information about export scenarios — in forums or documentation?

Thanks in advance.

Hi! Here is a link to the export scenarios documentation from Acumatica Help:  Export Scenarios

Usually if I want to import information to the line, I just create a generic inquiry with the fields I need, then export to excel, then import with import scenario after I make any changes. I find that a bit more straight forward and easier.

Hope this helps!

Hello @jzhu ,

Thanks for the suggestion, I just needed to handle all of this through the export scenario, if it possible.

Hi @Vard03,

I will suggest you first create a GI based on all the required columns from SOLine. Make sure you include all the mandatory columns for a SOLine to be created. Once your GI is final, then export it into Excel.

Based on that you can create the Data Provider of Excel type and upload the excel file which you have exported from GI. This will give you the object schema. Then you can use these Data Provider for your Export and Import of SOLines. Hope this is helpful and what you are looking for.
