Our Elan contact is saying they do not support Plaid even though Elan comes up on the Plaid website as supported at https://plaid.com/demo/?countryCode=US&language=en&product=transactionsHoping we were just talking to the wrong person at Elan as we would prefer to use Plaid rather than set-up the infrastructure for file transfers and then automation into Acumatica which is what I understand Plaid does for us.

 We created a ARM report for our Inc Statement.  We have some value that are negative that we would like to show with brackets instead of a minus sign.  Most of the rows are set to show the value and they have brackets but we have a few rows that we have $ signs that show up with a minus sign.  We want minus signs This is the formatting formula we’ve usedI tried updating with the following =’$###,###,###.00’; ‘($###,###,###.00)”but I get this errorAm I using the wrong format formula?

When we process AP checks printing maxes out at 19 checks.  If the payment processing group contains more than 19 payments Acumatica will only preview and print 19 at a time.Is this standard?   Or is there a setting that can be changed to allow for greater number of checks printed at once?

Is there any way to not require the CVV for a credit card? This is setup using Ebiz cc integration. Weird thing is it doesn’t require for amex but it requires for Visa. This started happening after the client was upgraded to 22R2: 

Hello,  We are trying to accomplish the following:Restrict GL Accounts from all users Then, give branches access to specific GL Accounts Finally, restrict access to specific users within the branchesIn the attached example, we want to restrict GL Account Access to users in the XXGGM group for the listed accounts.  Our current results are: Accounts 000506442 & 20443000 are still visible. Accounts 190020000 & 200395000 are not.  And when I inactivate the XXGGM group, the results are the same.  It seems we need to restructure how we are approaching this.  Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix?  Thank you 

Hi Team, As per standard behavior of Acumatica in terms of completing the PO, You have to go in Purchase Order Screen > More Action > Complete Order per Documents. Do you have a workaround in doing this by batching (mass completing the PO) Regards,Fie

Is there a way to prevent Acumatica from combining Sales Orders for the same customer from being combined into one invoice. Example: Customer A orders 200 blue widgets on Tuesday, on Thursday the same customer orders 350 red widgets. Both Sales Orders are processed and shipped on Friday. When the invoice is generated both Sales Orders are combined into one Invoice.Our customers do not want combined invoices because it makes it more difficult for them to reconcile their Purchase Order when multiple orders are combined on an Invoice. Also when multiple sales orders are combined the Customer PO Number is no longer displayed on the invoice causing further confusion. Is there somewhere in the Invoice workflow that the combining of orders into a single invoice can be disabled? We are running Acumatica 2022 R1Thank you!

After an upgrade from 21 R1 to 22 R2 (various builds), I have seen three different client sites have occasional journal transactions get stuck in pending approval status. I have a case open with Acumatica on this, and the workaround is to put JT on hold and remove hold to clear the request for approval. Client does not have JT approval configured and has not previously ever had it configured as it’s a newer feature. Acumatica has not confirmed this is a known issue since they can’t replicate, and I’m wondering if there are others out there that are also seeing this issue to see if we can get a larger pool of affected sites to have Acumatica relook at this as an actual known issue. Also including the workaround above in case others run into this issue!

I have an issue where I have a customer setup. Orders have been placed shipped and invoiced in the system. Yet for some reason when I go to Receivable>Customers they are not listed in that profile. I can pull up the invoice and access Customer Details through the invoice, but I am unable to pull up the customer in the Customer Profiles.Below is a screen shot of an open invoice as well as the Customer Profile screen with the customer number in the search in the top right with no results. Any idea’s why this is happening? Seen this in another instance as well. 

Is there anyway of changing the account type of a GL Account from the database. I understand its not possible from Acumatica’s Chart of Account screen so I think a script is the most possible options but I am not sure which tables store the account type.

I am using a third party custom manufacturing program from which I do invoicing. That application is using Avatax and getting the tax calculation for products that are taxable and including that in the invoices it generates. I am then using an import scenario to bring the invoices into my Acumatica instance via Sales Order. In most states the medical devices I make are tax Exempt so I have my products in Acumatica set to an EXEMPT tax category. In the few states that tax certain items they all do it at different rates.The challenge am having is bringing in the items and being able to update the Tax Amount on the Sales Order. The import scenario is able to bring in each line item into the sales order, and I am able to change the Tax Category on the Sales Order Detail  to TAXABLE (see below).When I go to the TAXES tab I can see thing

Hello,  In re to intercompany transactions, we have a request for any AP Bills created from the receivables module to skip the approval process in AP.  Does anyone know of a way to exclude the documents from the approval process?  In the interim I am using the specific vendor ID but it’s possible that vendor could have bills created in AP that need to go through approvals in the future.   Thank you!

I have what seems to be an interesting challenge; how to calculate commissions based on paid project based invoices. This differs from many other commission based systems based on accrued sales.  Commissions at this company are based on payments received on project issued or related invoices.I can see payments coming into table ARPayments based on a calendar date or fiscal period.  But when I try to connect those payments to the project that initiated the invoice and payment, that is where my challenge begins.  If I am not on the right path, please put forward some alternative suggestions.Some constraints:All payments are initiated by invoices either directly issued through AR (so the project is referenced in the details tab) or through a project generated invoice. Our clients are making use of the automation features in AP that scan and create an AP transaction from the AP invoice and then route the AP invoice for Approval.They want to automate the process all the way to final payment, which can be done now.  However there is a weakness at the moment as the file that gets created when exporting the payment file is not secure.  It is in a format that can easily be edited.We feel that it is important to complete this full automation by providing the necessary security on the file and a secure connection to the bank upload platform. Thanks James

This batch was created on journal transaction with the post period as 01-2023. However the last detail line seems to have posted in 02-2023 which seems to be the editting date. How did this happen as the transaction date on the details line is not edit enabled ? How did a line change its date when the whole voucher has a date already.

Hello,We are trying to dispose of an asset as part of Fixed Assets historical migration. Our client is live on other modules, so we imported all the assets successfully, using FA Migration Mode (unclick ‘Update GL’ in FA Preferences).One Asset was purchased in January 2022, depreciated through February 2022 and needs to be disposed of on 2/28/2023. When we try to dispose it, an error appears:  FA Error: The asset cannot be disposed of in past periods.We have tried requiring reconciliation prior to disposal, not requiring reconciliation, depreciating before disposal and not depreciating. We have tried re-opening the period for the disposal, and that made no difference. We are logged into the tenant administrators with full rights in all modules. All transactions for the asset have been released.I am able to successfully dispose assets as of a prior period in my Demo so I do think it’s possible.What have we missed?  Thank you.  

Hi Team,Below is the screen shot of my question. I clicked “Load Documents” to show all the open invoices for my transaction period, customer and location. 1) it shows 13,646.73 Applied to Documents after unselecting all invoices. Should it be $0.00 if I unselected all invoices? Why does it show $13K invoices selected? 2) It does not show all open invoices. It only shows 19 invoices when there are 59 open invoices. The next arrow is greyed out. How can I show all open invoices for my criteria?

I would like to understand how do I restrict certain vendor class so user is disallowed to select that restricted vendor class when creating a vendor master

A client was using the formula MonthName(@MonthStart,-1) in a column heading.  Obviously this use the current date and does not allow the specification of a starting period.  Using Report.FormatPeriod(@StartPeriod,-1) gets the period as 10-2021, 09-2021, etc.  Is there another formula that would return the description of the period as Oct 2021, Sep 2021 etc?
