Deferral schedule override not saving after invoice is posted

When wanting to manipulate the deferral schedule I select the override checkbox and then save.  I go into the deferral schedules and see my draft schedule saved as desired 

 

After I post the invoice, it reverts back and posts the original schedule.  What am I doing wrong?
