Do you have to have the control accounts set up for the Discrepancy Inquiries to work?

We always complain about timecards being submitted late. We want to give our employees a bonus based on 100% timely submission of their timecard.  The audit report doesnt seem like a good way to gather the data.  How would you suggest we write a report to give us this information

I can not find a User Security option to allow the Unlock Period option to show up on Master Financial Calendar.No users including admin are able to unlock locked periods.Any place I can look to see why?

Hi,If i have to migrate data from quickbooks and customer requires to have 3 or 4 years of transactions such as SO/PO, AR Invoice, AP Bill (origin documents) in Acuamtica, it’s possible to do it using Import/Export Scenarios?Thanks! 

I haven’t seen this problem for 15 years, but I have a prospect that loves their Dot Matrix printer with color coded Invoice copies. I can wean them off of the Dot Matrix to Laser but, I don’t think I can get them to part with print different colors of invoice and other doucments in pink, green, yellow.  I found color coded laser paper but does that solve the problem of how multiple sets of the same invoice are printed?How have you solved this problem?

Does anyone print checks drawn on a Bank of the West checking account?

How can i apply payment for AR invoices from a bank statement? We go by the bank statement on whether or not the customer paid. We want to bring this excel file and apply on open invoices.

Anyone else using Chrome having issues with Aatrix? I just allowed Chrome to disable Flash since it will be retired in Chrome this month. I’m assuming this has caused my issue as Aatrix will no longer open. The Government Reporting processes and shows a green check-mark that the operation completed after running a report but Aatrix never opens.I opened Microsoft Edge and was able to complete. So I’m not sure what the issue is other than Flash.

Some of our deposits were posted to the bank deposit as a date in the subsequent month in error. I see the option to reclassify the journal transaction related to it, however the date I need to change to is in the previous month (different period). It gives me a yellow exclamation mark with the error, but there are no options to change the period? I also just tried to process and proceed, but it does not move forward.  

Is there a formula or function to count the days from the beginning of a period to the end of a period specified to the ARM report form?  I tried the following but it’s not giving the correct result:=DateDiff('d', @PeriodEnd, @PeriodStart)

Hello all,I’ve been following the help guides but am getting errors when I try to schedule an ARM report by email.Looks like when I go to check the status, the execution result is “The report with name Key Financial Numbers is not found” as you can see here: I’m not sure where to more clearly define the report name as the Screen ID is defined in a condition of the Automation Schedule:I initially created this by:navigating to the report itself; defining the parameters & the Print & Email settings; saving those as a report template; and then choosing “schedule template.”As far as I can tell, that is by the book.What am I missing in my configuration? This doesn’t seem to be common so I assume I’ve missed a data element.Thank you all for the ideas!Arline

HiI received the error msg for the below , Not sure how to add it into the control account.Is there is any problem if we dont add in the inventory into control account? Actually system allow us to save and close it without problem. When next time we open again , there is no this kind of messgae pop up. 

Hi Not sure if anyone know what is the problem below?  We will do the prepayment and make the payment , however system pop up below message , I did check the cash account for the 10740 , Is it inside the cash acocount , aslo , for the vendor payment account also enter under same account 10740.Could anyone to advise? Hello, We are in the process of converting a customer from Sage 100 to Acumatica. In Sage 100 the customer has tokenized credit card information. The customer will be using the same credit card processor (Paya) for Acumatica as they used in Sage. The tokenized data should be the same. However we are finding that once converted Paya does not recognize the data. Has anyone done this type of conversion before?

Several customers have requested Financial Reports (P&L, etc.) by week.  In some cases they would like to look historically to compare a week in the current period to a historical period for trend analysis. In other cases they budget by week and revise their budget for next week based on last week.  A good example is a hotel chain where they look at room nights to determine staffing and supply requirements.  We are looking at Velixo and Power BI but would prefer to have an easy solution that is more out of the box and built with standard Acumatica tools.  Has anyone tackled this and can share their experience?  Anyone else need this functionality?

Hello everyone, I need advice on a particular situation...I have several communication bills that needs entering but for accounting purposes, it needs to hit different account e.g. accrued expense, cash in bank etc...is there a way that I can call them up in the bills and adjustment screen? instead of calling the item from the inventory? Thanks in advance,mrivera67

Hello,    In last Christmas and new year, we’ve sent some gift to our customers. So they don’t have to pay them. These invoices are with amount/balance on them.    I know, I can write off the invoices, or I can create a credit memo to offset it.     But from Accounting Angle,  what’s the best way to do it?    The people from my company said they wish these numbers can also be counted into Cost of Good Sold.

Client has the following accounts setup –Account A is an Expense Account with a Credit BalanceAccount B is an Expense Account with a Debit Balance They would like Account A to show as a positive on the P&L even though it is a Credit BalanceThey would like Account B to show as a negative on the P&L even though it is a Debit Balance The client is on the latest version of Acumatica How can I make this work?   ThanksMike

Hi SirWe would like to create a invetory code for new product line , the account code will be 14721 .We understand that the account code posting for inventory is controlled by posting class.Need to create a new posting class for this new product line.  When we create a new stock item and assign this new posting class, then system will post to these new account code. My question is what is posting class referring to?Is anyone can guide me how to do the above create the new posting class in system?Hope to hear from you soon.Thank you 

We are trying to use the ARM Project Reports for a rolling 12 months.  We would like to add the Task’s Revenue Budget in the report.  Has anyone tried that or have a better idea?
