Erin,

The DB Cash By Period inquiry does not show the accounts without activity in the current period.

If you are on 2021R1, consider using the CA-CashOnHand (CA0001DB) inquiry based on which we have created the Cash on Hand scorecard . The Cash on Hand scorecard is a part of the preconfigured Controller (DB000038) dashboard.

Hi Olga

Thanks

We are based on this inquiry insert into dashboard, Do you know any idea that can show the actual Cash Balance? which existing inquiry we can use in order to reflect the exact Cash balance figure?

Same issue - 2022R1 - The cash on Hand report is just a reworked version of the Cash by Period report. If the Client looks at their cash position at the beginning of a month, they are off sometime in excess of 80%. Does anyone have a workaround for Daily cash vs Period cash. Needs a solution.

jkasprzyk98 - Our quick fix to the dashboard issue was to setup a recurring journal entry for the first day of every financial period which is a debit and credit of $.01 to the cash accounts which are not used daily. (ie. money market) Running this net zero entry gets all the accounts to appear without modifying the dashboard or underlying GI’s. This should work no matter what version you’re on. Hope this helps!
