Hi. We have a client requiring setting up of approval maps for 156 branches for 12 modules 2 tier (preparer → reviewer) 3-tier (preparer → reviewer → approver)with conditions and rule actions. We believed we can expedite by either using import scenario or, worst case scenario,do a direct SQL.Anyone encounter such experience before? Thanks in advance. 

Hello,         We are having a scenario and I would like to know what is the best way to log them in system. Here is the scenario and what we are doing now:         Both “Costco” and “CITI bank” are vendors in our system.        We purchase some items from “Costco” using credit card. And in order to track inventory, we created a PO from Costco and received the items and generated the bill to Costco. We call bill 1 .        And also monthly, we get a bill from “CITI bank” including the total amount used in Costco and other amounts(means not the same with bill 1), like fuel, gas (not inventory item, so no POs). In order to log the payment, we also create a bill to “CITI Bank”. We call bill 2.          Now you see, on bill 1 and bill 2 we are actually having same item. so we don’t have to pay twice. And also we don’t have to double our liabilities.

I have added a custom field to AP Bills that entering value should be mandatory. On the AP Bill screen system shows a red astrix by the field label that when value entered turns its color to black. But system doesn’t force the user to enter value for it and accepts saving the form without having data in this field. I have made it “Required” as you can see below. Hi.So the brief story is this:Our company purchased a service that has a validation for 1 year, from DEC 10 2021 to DEC 10 2022 (as shown in the picture below). And I want to record the amount into “Paid in Advance” account, then amortize it monthly. The problem is, I couldn’t find anywhere to set it. I tried to set it by creating a new “Non-stock Item” or a new “Posting Class” (shown below), but I’m not sure where to key in the “Paid in Advance” account. Could anyone please tell me how to do it, or if I’m using the wrong form here? Many thanks.

Hello there, I managed to create the same subaccounts in Canada tenant (parent in CAD) and US tenant (subsi in USD).When I reval and translated the actual ledger in US tenant to CAD ledger, the whole subaccount is disregarded into a journal batch. Hence when I consolidate in the parent company, consolidated P&L only show parent company in different subaccount but no data in US tenant. Am I missing a step in translating the USD ledger to CAD ledger in US tenant? We have an entry that needs to be reversed for a specific branch. Since the initial entry was made, that account was made into a cash account for another branch. Therefore, we can not correct the entry since it will not let us book a cash account for a branch that was not setup for that cash account. Any idea how we resolve this issue? 

Hi Team, I am trying to create opportunity through rest API and it worked first time. I tried to create another opportunity it gives me below error: Although the model is same which I have passed first time just subject is different. We have a customer with thousands of fixed assets across multiple locations. They have assets tags on all of the items and need a method to perform a phyisical on the assets by location that can be reconcilied to Acumatica Fixed Assets.Has anyone come across a good third party solution, customization or method within Acumatica for performing a physical on fixed assets using bar code scanners for reconciliation/adjustment to the Acumatica Fixed Assets module?

Hello everyone,I am dealing with a peculiar issue with closing the fixed assets financial periods. To give some background, I was reconciling some new assets and I needed to open some old periods for the reconcile+ transactions to be in the right period. When I tried to close the periods again the system gave me an error stating that I had a bunch of unreleased fixed asset transactions. The assets in question are all fully depreciated assets that were brought in at the go-live with the “update gl” checkbox de-selected. Now I am stuck with this module being open all the way back to 10-2020. Has anyone come across this issue before? There are no transactions to release on Release FA Transactions FA503000.

An ap quick check was produced for an employee as they were found as a vendor when the check was entered.  Which was kind of cool that you did not need to make up an employee and an employee vendor to reimburse out of payroll.However, if you go in and try to void that quick check you get an errorEmployeeID 101087 cannot be found in the system.note 101087 is part of the error as the employee id and not an error codehas anyone run into this issue. I have researched and cannot seem to find any issues beyond simple instructions to void a check

At times, a check is mis-printed for one reason or another (call it check # 1001).  If using pre-printed check stock, check # 1001 can no longer be used.  If you simply re-print and move onto the next check number (#1002) that works fine for getting the check to the payee.  Yet, the system does not recognize or capture the fact that check # 1001 was mis-printed and voided or shredded.  A Controller or Treasurer wants to account for missing checks.  Other systems I know allow you to enter a Void Check by simply going into Checks and Payments-equivalent and entering a check number and $0 amount and Release/Post as a void check (not acting like Acumatica’s Void feature - which works great by the way - but is not the same as the feature I am seeking here in this post).Acumatica does not appear to address this in any way. I tentatively recommended using Banking module and creating an Entry type “VOID”.  Then, create a Banking module cash entry transaction to enter th

I have modified the GL633000 Transaction for Period Report in Acumatica to include a Total of Report at the end, i manage to include a simple $TotalEndBalance = $TotalEndBalance + $EndBalance new variable almost at the end of the report, but I cant make the report not include the $EndBalance that belogn to transctions that were hided due to the parameter “Include Accounts with Transactions Only”. The parameter in Acumatica is call WithTran, that affects a variable $Visible, but can seem to make it work. Have any of the community encounter this, and has an idea to fix this problem? Total is good if the paramenter is not selected, but if you selected, pum, the $TotalEndBalance is wrong as is not reduced by the amount of $EndBalnaces that are not showing up.

We have a running live environment for a couple of years now. Due to business ownership change and/or restructuring, the financial year for the company has changed. Current: Jan to Dec - 13 periods (with period 13 as adjustment period) The change:The current Financial Year 2020 has increased to 18 months until June 2021 (i.e. Jan 2020 until Jun 2021).After that, the Financial Year will be 13 periods again from July 2021 to Jun 2022…. and so on. I need help on how can this be smoothly implemented. Thanks  

HI, We have created a AP Invoice and Created a Cheque. After six months Customer not process the cheque and we need to Void it. After void the Payable Check, needs create a New Check. What Would be the way to do this? Re-Print Check Functionality can be used for this?Can be used same Cheque Number using Re-Print Check Number? Regards

Checking to see if there is a fix being done on a present situation in Acumatica involving updating Customer payment information.  Here is the issue: A customer started out originally being a "Check" customer meaning they get paper checks.  The customer now wants to do ACH payments.  When we update the payment information for the customer, any invoice that is already entered to the customer when they were a "Check" payment will not be converted over to ACH payments.  It will only go by check because when it was entered, "Check" was the payment option.  The only way to make it go ACH is to reverse all of the invoices and re-enter AFTER the ACH information is updated in the Customer File.  BUT if you re-enter the invoice under the ACH payment information but you attach the invoice to a purchase order that was entered BEFORE the payment information was updated, the invoice will not show up on EITHER Prepare Payments reports.  Just had another one where the invoice was ent

We have a business use case that we are trying to figure out.  We would like to take multiple T&M projects and roll the invoicing for each one of those into one invoice?  I was playing around with the idea of Parent Child Customers with the Child customer associated with he Parent with the Consolidate Balance, Consolidate Statements, and Share credit Policy set.  I’m just not seeing any way to roll billing up into one invoice however.  Any tips you can provide would be most appreciated. Eric BelshamGaleforce Consulting Partners, LLC.
