On a Purchase Order, is there a more efficient way to enter a different Ship-To Address and Ship-To Contact (of our company) than by checking 'Override' and typing in an alternate address/contact?  

Is there a way to change “All Customers” statement settings to (Print Statements)?

A conversion was completed from another software product.  For some reason after validating the entire process we know what the number is and it matches the difference between the balance sheet and income statement to balance it. It belongs in retained earnings and all other balances are matched against the GL ledger from the old program.  I need to make a one sided posting to that account or an adjustment account to sum to that grouping for the amount in question which balances the assets and liabilities and completes the transition.I have been unable to find a methodology

I know there is a customization to publish for add apply retainage for AR Invoices and Memos but what do you need to do for AP Bills? The apply retainage button is not available right now in migration mode and I need this ASAP!

Hi,I have someone entering an expense claim using a specific Expense Item. Normally this item is taxable and has taxes calculated but in his instance, the supplier is not charging tax. How can the person entering their expense claim put the tax amount to zero as the taxes get calculated automatically based on the tax category and configuration. This could be the case on expense claims, or on PO’s or in AP Billls too. When I try to set it to zero I get the following error: 

Rookie question on ARM Reporting:I’ve modified a P&L column set to have three columns MTD/PTD/YTD actual values.I can’t figure out the right settings in the Data Source section of the Column Definition.Example of issue:  Printing report for January 2021 I ‘should’ get all three columns to be equal.But the result I am getting is shown below. The MTD Data source is set to The PTD Data Source is set to:The YTD Data Source is set to (I think this one is correct)

Is there an easy way to revalue inventory for a specific item/site? Best I have found is inventory adjustments, but then you cannot add inventory to the same receipt because the costing is tied to the receipt.  We had a incorrectly costed move due to a incorrect AP entry for a sub component.

Hello,I am wanting to create a pdf form for AP Debit Adjustments. The business case is that when we have a Credit memo request from our Vendors, rather than waiting for the Vendor to create a Credit Memo on their end and send to us, I would like the ability to generate the a Debit Adjustment and print to PDF so I can send to the Vendor to initiate the request. I am told I have to create a form from scratch for this as out of the box there is not form for Debit Adjustments. How would I go about doing this and are there any best practices to help expedite the creating of this, ie copy AP Remit form etc… Thank you

Hi All, @Naveen B , is it possible to change from Diminishing Value to Straight Line Depreciation of an Asset?Case:  Office Equipment has a life of 10years.  First 4 years is Diminishing Value, followed by 6 last years as Straight Line.  Is this possible?  I have tried by running diminishing value first, then changing to SL however an adjustment is added to the start of the SL depreciation so it doesnt work. Regards,Laura

Hi, A client, at version 2020 R2, wants to eliminate the Email Invoice/Memo Action on the AR Invoices and Memos. I tried to set the Visible value to false on the Form specific option but that did not do anything. In 2021r2, I can do this fairly easily by selecting & setting the action to hidden. Is there anyway to eliminate this action without coding? Thanks,Bill 

How can you restrict access to Cash Books Under banking. I need certain users to access 2 or 3 cash books and only 1 other user to access a separate 2 cash book accounts?

Hi. We have a client requiring setting up of approval maps for 156 branches for 12 modules 2 tier (preparer → reviewer) 3-tier (preparer → reviewer → approver)with conditions and rule actions. We believed we can expedite by either using import scenario or, worst case scenario,do a direct SQL.Anyone encounter such experience before? Thanks in advance. 

Hello,         We are having a scenario and I would like to know what is the best way to log them in system. Here is the scenario and what we are doing now:         Both “Costco” and “CITI bank” are vendors in our system.        We purchase some items from “Costco” using credit card. And in order to track inventory, we created a PO from Costco and received the items and generated the bill to Costco. We call bill 1 .        And also monthly, we get a bill from “CITI bank” including the total amount used in Costco and other amounts(means not the same with bill 1), like fuel, gas (not inventory item, so no POs). In order to log the payment, we also create a bill to “CITI Bank”. We call bill 2.          Now you see, on bill 1 and bill 2 we are actually having same item. so we don’t have to pay twice. And also we don’t have to double our liabilities.

I have added a custom field to AP Bills that entering value should be mandatory. On the AP Bill screen system shows a red astrix by the field label that when value entered turns its color to black. But system doesn’t force the user to enter value for it and accepts saving the form without having data in this field. I have made it “Required” as you can see below. Hi.So the brief story is this:Our company purchased a service that has a validation for 1 year, from DEC 10 2021 to DEC 10 2022 (as shown in the picture below). And I want to record the amount into “Paid in Advance” account, then amortize it monthly. The problem is, I couldn’t find anywhere to set it. I tried to set it by creating a new “Non-stock Item” or a new “Posting Class” (shown below), but I’m not sure where to key in the “Paid in Advance” account. Could anyone please tell me how to do it, or if I’m using the wrong form here? Many thanks.

Hello there, I managed to create the same subaccounts in Canada tenant (parent in CAD) and US tenant (subsi in USD).When I reval and translated the actual ledger in US tenant to CAD ledger, the whole subaccount is disregarded into a journal batch. Hence when I consolidate in the parent company, consolidated P&L only show parent company in different subaccount but no data in US tenant. Am I missing a step in translating the USD ledger to CAD ledger in US tenant? We have an entry that needs to be reversed for a specific branch. Since the initial entry was made, that account was made into a cash account for another branch. Therefore, we can not correct the entry since it will not let us book a cash account for a branch that was not setup for that cash account. Any idea how we resolve this issue? 

Hi Team, I am trying to create opportunity through rest API and it worked first time. I tried to create another opportunity it gives me below error: Although the model is same which I have passed first time just subject is different.
