Can one account in the Chart of Accounts be linked to multiple cash accounts?

Hi guys,

It seems that when link a cash account to an account in the chart of accounts, it has to be “one to one”. When I tried to link more than one cash accounts to one account in the chart of accounts, the systems showed an error. So is it impossible to do that? Thanks.

Hello,

We can link multiple Banking → Cash accounts to the same GL Cash account when

  1. The GL Subaccount on the Bank Account is different or
  2. The Branch is different.

Three fields make the Cash Accounts unique.
