What does the error code mean and how do you fix it? It’s showing up when you click on an email under time and expenses, all emails, failed emails tab. One of the emails is our own internal user so I know that email is valid and the sending email account does not show it in sent items so it does not look like an issue with the email client.

We are trying to create an business event to alert users when they leave emails in draft status.  We have everything running fine except we have not found a way to link directly to the draft email.  I have tried duplicating the URL structure you get when you go to the all emails screen and click on an email (I substitute the noteID with the correct one), but that ends up taking us to a blank email.  Anyone have a good URL that goes directly to an email?

Hi i have been having a strange issue when creating a shipment of a sales order via the API This is the standard endpoint i am using: (replaced my base address)https://baseaddress/entity/Default/18.200.001/ShipmentAnd the request:{    "Type":{"value":"Shipment"},    "CustomerID":{"value":"TEST1"},    "LocationID":{"value":"MAIN"},    "WarehouseID":{"value":"WAREHOUSE1"},    "Details":[        {            "OrderType":{"value":"SA"},            "OrderNbr":{"value":"ORDER123"}        }    ]}This does create a shipment for the order however the shipment number it creates has already been allocated to another shipment on the system. What could i be missing here? the Shipment number i an expecting is a new one that has not been previously allocated to any sales order.

Does Acumatica have any solutions to integrate with lease management/accounting software for easier recording underASU842? 

I have a batch of inventory adjustments to make, so rather than key them in I was going to use the Import from Excel function within the Inventory Adjustments form.  I've used this function within the order entry screen, so I was familiar.  I went to load records from file, browsed to the file (.xlsx) and clicked the Upload button.  The screen flickered, but the dialog box never comes up.  I've checked everything I can think, but nothing seemed to work.  I even tried importing to the order entry screen, to make sure that worked, and it did (tried the same file just to see if the dialog box would come up, and it did).  Is there a setting that has to be flipped on per screen to allow the import to go through?  What else might I be missing?  Using 2019R1

I’m curious to know how advanced most Acumatica end users are.  It seems that the only way to really get value out of Acumatica is to take advantage of generic inquires, dashboards, import and export scenarios, etc. and the other ‘middle-way’ programming features.  Are these mainly done by the Acumatica partners for their clients or do most end-users become skilled at these the way Excel has made ‘programmers’ out of ‘regular’ business folks?  Or are the majority of end-users large corporations that have IT departments working hand in hand with the Partner making customization projects and the small business market still pretty small? The is partially just curiosity, but I’d also like to get a sense of what our expectations should be for a Partner and what they, in turn, expect or are used to dealing with from us.  Having seen some amazing, custom, Acumatica setups I am always wondering if that’s the result of staff working with Acumatica for multiple years or a skilled Partner/consult

I’m pretty sure the “ship via description” field was the “description” field in the shop for rates screen in 2020. Why was it switched to the service method in 2021? Was this a mistake? I would argue that the ship via description was better

I'm working on customizing the landing page in our company's Customer Portal by using a Wiki page, and I need to modify the displayed HTML elements of this page based on the current user's role, as well as write the user's name into one of the HTML elements.What I'm trying to find is a way to make a call when the customer portal home page loads, to any already existing functions that would return the name and role of the current user, so that my javascript code can modify the HTML accordingly, or any other way to get this information and have it available in the backend when the user logs in.I’ve found that these codes apparently return the user’s ID and Name, in some aspx files in the Acumatica source code, but I haven’t found a way to use them in the portal’s home page, if it’s possible:PXAccess.GetUserID()Current<AccessInfo.userID>Current<AccessInfo.userName> Thanks in advance for your help!

Construction is visual whether drawings, pictures, scope of work, etc. Most of that is initiated in the beginning before the project is even created. It would be very helpful if the activities (emails, attached notes, meetings, etc.), files and notes flowed from Opportunities > Project Quote > Project > Service Management (if applicable).This way these items do not need to be attached multiple times and the end of the chain (project manager, supervisor, foreman) can review some of the correspondence to get updated on the project.This files/documents following the flow would also be helpful in attaching to subcontracts so they too have the info needed.Does anyone have a way for the supporting documents in the initial opportunity to flow with the progression to projects/field service?

Hi, we’ve just recently upgraded a client to 2021R1 - Build 21.102.0070They use the warehouse management function in the mobile app through both IOS and Andriod devices. when using “Storage Lookup” they scan the warehouse, scan the location and nothing comes through. if they click “Review” they get an error “The view doesn’t exist”this also occurs when using “Pick Pack and Ship” if they click on any of the command buttons during the process - review/reset/scan/set qty anyone else come across this yet or can suggest a solution? have tried as “admin” and tried creating new user, checked the licence still remains, tried in separate company and tenant. have logged a support ticket also

I’m a brand new user to Acumatica - have only been working live for about 2 months in Acumatica 2020 R2.We’re using Acumatica’s partner 1Retail to process retail sales thru our registers. After running “process retail transactions” in Acumatica, I have one error I just can’t figure out how to resolve.Retail transaction rang thru the register is:   37.10 pounds of boulders @ $ 0.45 per pound = $ 16.70$ 16.70 + 7.25% sales tax $ 1.21 = $ 17.91 total sale and cash collected from customer. Error Message says:  OP Error: ARInvoice Total out of balance. CuryLineTotal: 16.6900, CuryOrigDocAmt: 17.9000, CuryTaxTotal: 1.2100, CuryFreightTotal: 0.0000 Am I supposed to override the top boxes {Base Currency Totals} or {Transaction Currency Totals} ?  Change something in the line item details in bottom of the retail transaction log screen? If anyone knows of a “how to” manual regarding these errors I’d love to get my hands on one:)

The courses are good, but the documentation is too much for someone like me who learns visually. Is it possible to create 15 min videos also for all training material. I notice that it is provided for some course but not all.

Is there a way to setup the Column layout for the same screen ID but with different document types? Example: Screen S301000 with SO order type would a have a different predefined column layout than when selecting the RO type…

Hello,I need to extend all my customers to vendor. I use the extend to vendor button and have set up all GL accounts、attributes, but when I enter an AP bill, it will occur an error. Please see attached photo. When the error happens, whether AP Bill or AR invoice will have the error that means I couldn’t release any of them. Please advice any solution to me. Thanks!!! 

Hello! we have been doing our work to get our badges and have the U100 data set in a testing company to work through the training with. Out of nowhere, today, we are getting an error when trying to bring up the Customers screen. we are opening it in windows explorer, we have not modified that i know of. Our other testing companies with other data work just fine. We are new to the acumatica world and so not up to speed on how to figure these issues out. Calling all customers!  If Acumatica hosted an online monthly “Live Forum” event what topics would you be interested in? Lets imagine we held an online event monthly for an hour, there were 4-8 virtual breakout sessions, you could join any of the live sessions, move around between sessions, and have an open discussion about the session topic.  There would be a moderator in the room who had experience in the session topic, but there would not be a formal presentation (and would not be sales oriented).  It would be customers sharing with other customers. I’d love to hear all your topic ideas!   Diana BowersSr. Customer Success Manager

Hello all,Curious about options here. Instead of using Outlook for mail, some people use the apple Mail app on their Macs.If they’re not interested in migrating to Outlook to use the Acumatica Outlook Add-in, what are their options? (On 3/10/21 I didn’t come across any options in the marketplace.)Could I drag/drop an email from Mac mail into Acumatica to log activity, for example? I don’t expect that to create a contact but perhaps there’s some level of compatibility we can help them achieve.Thank you for any ideas.Arline 

During creating various pages we have found that information stored in Wiki Table is not searchable by Global search option (Top left search bar)However whatever content which we put outside Wiki Table (anywhere in the page) becomes searchable. Could anyone suggest whether this is a Bug in Acumatica or do we need to do any settings or follow any steps? We use following version:Acumatica 2019 R2Build 19.208.0051
