Is it possible to have more than one quote under an opportunity that we eventually convert to a project? We are a window manufacturing company and often we want to split an opportunity into several phases (eg downstairs Windows and upstairs windows) and when successful in our bid, convert both, not just the primary to separate projects.
Not sure how to do this?

Hi @DanielStarke Please find the below steps used to Convert project for the Quotes of an opportunity.
Create Quote → Marked as Primary
Submit Quote
Convert to Project
Create another Quote and Convert to Project for the same opportunity
Open the Opportunity
Create new Quote for the Opportunity. This will allow to mark the new Quote as “Mark as Primary”.
If required, Mark another Quote as “Primary” after adding the new quote. After the process, the quotes not required can be deleted.
Hi @DanielStarke As shown below, try using the “Create Quote” option. You can click on this action multiple time. The newly create Quote will associated with the opportunity. In addition, you can add the details to the new Quote that was created.
Hi @DanielStarke As shown below, please also try using the “Copy Quote” option if you have already created a Quote for the Opportunity and requires a copy.
Hi @DanielStarke The “Convert To Project” option on the “Project Quotes” screen is only available for the Primary Quote.
And when we try to make another Quote for the same opportunity as primary, the system shows an error. Please confirm, if you are referring to the same issue.
We are a window and door manufacturer and sometimes we might quote on several stages of work all as part of one opportunity.
For example, imagine a project to build a university, there would be a library, a science block, a theatre etc, each one might require a separate quote... But all quotes are part of the same opportunity for the university.
How am I best to process this in Acumatica? Surely we wouldn't need to create multiple opportunities? That doesn't make sense.
I'd like to be able to have 4-5 quotes under the main opportunity, and if we are successful in our bid, be able to convert all quotes to separate projects so that we can deliver each phase separately, eg delivery for the library might be 6mths before the theater etc, etc.
As you pointed on your initial post and Chandra’s subsequent posts, out of the box, it allows us to create Project only for Primary Quote. Though one can set another Quote as Primary, I don't see an option to add subsequent Quote to an existing Project ( if not convert multiple Quotes to single Project).
@vkumar and @ChandrasekharM , thank you for your suggestions!
It seems then that this is not really the right way to use the opportunity module???
I also think that the value of the opportunity will be falsely reported as it would only show the value of the primary quote, not the tally of all "live" quotes.
