A purchase requisition is created with the warehouse “Service”.On the shipping tab, the warehouse is identified as Service.As soon as we select a vendor on the Bidding tab, the Warehouse above changes to a different warehouse as well as on the lines within Line Details. Why is the warehouse changing as soon as we select the Vendor on the bidding tab? We have checked SKU defaults & vendor defaults and neither of these are specifying a different warehouse. 

Acumatica is working on expanding this area of the product and we are looking for customers whom are interested in working with us and piloting such functionality in their environment.  The goal is to include advanced capabilities that go well beyond simple predefined set of substitutions and upsell/cross sell possibilities for a given item.  We are looking to incorporate smart substitutions based on substitution history, cost considerations, inventory levels, user selections in prior order entry/checkout sessions, using ML technologies. Hello allI have a customer with large 500+ line orders and when they need to do a return that want to have a reason code on each line.  What are my options to add a reason code to 500 line ?  can I ‘upload’ via details or do I need a import ?   

Using the AP-Vendors GI I would like to add the email field from the Payments Tab on the Vendor Profile.Can you help me accomplish this please? I have tried a few tables with no luck. I have attached the GI Thanks John 

I’ve found that the non-stock kits default in a qty 0 shipped qty on the shipment. The allocation of the kit items do not occur until the shipped qty is manually updated. At that point, the items display on the pick list. Does anyone know why normal items bring over the shipped qty from the order while non-stock kits require inputting in a qty before the kit components allocate and show on the pick list? In order for the components to display, this flow is requiring users to manually updated the shipped qty on the non-stock kit item to get the components to allocate and display on the pick list.

I want to add non stock consulting item(See below figure) to invoices screen details tab when creating prepare invoice from shipments screen. I tried override shipment screen “CreateInvoice” action as well as fire Row Persisted event and override Persist method in Invoices screen too but unbale to do. I saw when fire Row Persisted event or override Persist method just executing(looping) no end point. Please give me any answer or suggestions.  

I created a drop-ship PO which has two SOs associated with it.PO has 7 items and SOs has 4&3.When I link either SO of 4 or 3 items, then go to the other remaining SO, the PO doesnt appear in the PO Link menu,it works fine when it not linked.Is this a limitation of drop ship functionality?

After avoiding eye contact with the matter for the last 19 months, we finally decided to start utilizing the UOM functionality in Acumatica. It has been about as easy as teaching a goldfish to speak Spanish.We chose the first item - a product which ships in Master Cases of (12) twelve displays. Each Display contains (20) Pieces.We have multiple companies set up in Acumatica. The main company is a wholesale operation, the others are a chain of retail stores.When the wholesale operation BUYS the product in question, we buy it in Master Cases. When the wholesale operation SELLS the product in question, we sell it in Displays. When the retail operations BUY the product in question, they buy it in Displays. When the retail operations SELL the product, they sell it in Piece.We have been able to get the Default Order UOM and Default Sales UOM set up, but we just discovered that when we place this item on a Sales Order and then create a corresponding Shipment/Pic

The system is throwing the below mentioned error while I am trying to generate Intercompany Sales Order. Here I have defined separate warehouses for both purchasing and selling companies.     Have even removed the default warehouse from the stock items.   And the below error for the Lot/Serial tracked stock items.   Kindly let me know if i am missing here something and how to resolve this error. Thank you.

When we try to confirm a shipment on the Shipments screen after a few seconds of processing we get an error saying this file already exists.  This is on a system we are preparing to go live with and have recently restored a snapshot (Settings and Business Accounts) which cleared out all the previous SOs and Shipments etc. I suspect a file is still present from testing previously but don’t know what file or where or even how to start to find out where or what it is. This seems to be only happening with Ship Via that are UPS based.Does anyone have any idea how to troubleshoot?Thanks,Trace:Phil

Hi All,Currently multiple lines in shipment is created based on the allocation lines of the sales order line items if there are multiple lines for the same size.Is it possible to create lines only based on the sizes and not allocation lines? (club all allocation quantities and display based on the size) Will it be a customization?Really appreciate your responses on this.Thank you in advance.

I’d like to use the “Create Sales Order” action in an Import Scenario on drop-ship purchase orders. Here’s the process flow I’m trying to make work:Create drop-ship PO, enter PO line(s), save the PO Use Business Event to trigger an Import Scenario based on newly inserted record Import Scenario accesses the newly created PO record and does a “<Action: Remove Hold> (ReleaseFromHold)” step. This is working. Import Scenario performs “<Action: Create Sales Order> (CreateSalesOrder)” step, fills in Sales Order Type of “SO”, and selects OK to close dialog box, create the Sales Order, and enter the SO Type/number/line into the associated reference fields on the drop ship PO line. This is NOT working. ***I need help w this step.*** Import Scenario puts the PO back on hold using “<Action: Hold> (PutOnHold)”. I am trying to figure out how to look at the landed costs for a stock item.We can see the Inventory value but we cannot see ‘how’ these values were determined.I’m looking for a query or report that would list an item’s cost history, it’s receipts, whether or not the cost came from the purchase, whether or not the cost came from a landed-cost entry, etc.  Can anyone point me in a direction or give the the DAC’s that might be involved in creating a Generic Inquiry so that we could get at that level of data?Thank you,Mike

Hi,  I’m trying to set up an approval map for orders based on the terms in the financial section of the SO. See attached image. However the orders don’t go into approval mode. It goes straight to open.   

Does anyone have any idea whether Acumatica stores the default price associated with an item and its changes over time or what the default price was on a given day? such as Item 123 was $18.75 on April 15 was changed$ 20.00 on October 2 and changed to $ 22.50 on October 15.  We are trying to compare our default prices versus our unit prices  in our sales orders over a given period of time.  I have a reasonable plan or solution on how to handle moving forward but I am wondering if I could use the line level fields (Manualprice = 0 and discpct = 0) or something similiar to identify where unit price = defaultprice on old sales orders?Any ideas and thoughts are welcome

We recently walked through the steps to enable the new WMS engine in 21 R2 and also enabled paperless picking. We are now experiencing multiple issues across the different WMS functions when trying to scan/input manually where it is telling us the item is not available/item is not where we are saying it is/etc even though we can see on other inventory inquiries the item is where we are saying it is. We have experienced this error during paperless pick, scan and count and pick, pack, ship for a transfer. Anyone else run into issues once enabling the new wms engine? Do I need to revert back to the legacy engine?

The process was working OK and no recent changes have been made to the configuration, nor to any customization. Normally there is around 150 to 200 skus that come up to be processed.Trace window:Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Transfer ERQ: Thread was being aborted..System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted. Any ideas?Thanks  

When creating multiple AP Bill for a single Service PO, the quantity for the second AP Bill appears as 0.00 by default. I have done the following setups but am wondering if I missed anything, as logically, if the PO is still open (and set PO Line to close by Amount) then irrespective to the number of AP Bills the quantity should repeat at 1 (unless Acumatica defaults is 0.00 - can this be changed).Below is the scenario, using Acumatica demo data.Non-stock Item setup: Close PO Line: By AmountPO created for 1 unit at unit cost of USD20001st partial AP Bill created for USD 800.00. Quantity 1 automatically appears when creating AP Bill and ADD PO or convert PO to AP Bill and up

All our numbered transactions (for instance invoices, sales orders, shipments etc) need to have the restriction that the master document can’t be deleted.  For this reason, I have set up all the users with “insert” access to those types of screens.  In most cases this works fine, but occasionally I’m finding that a button on the screen doesn’t work when “insert access” is used.  This is one example.  The “add order” button is disabled for this user.   Am I understanding correctly that it should be working in this circumstance?

Currently the ITEM AVAILABILITY button in the Sales Order Screen which opens a new tab to the Allocation Details for the highlighted line item.How can we make this a POP-UP screen rather than opening a new tab each time?Thanks for any help.John

We have several different warehouses that we stock our component parts depending on which building they are consumed at.  I am trying to set a different ROP for each warehouse.  When I go into stock items and add the other warehouse, I am getting the following message: Error: Another process had added the “INItemRep” record.  Your changes will be lost. In Acumatica can you have different ROP’s for multiple warehouses?
