Hi I am new to Acumatica ERP and appreciate your feedback.  Can MRP or Replenishment suggest Item sourcing from the Vendor based on the historical usage of the Part?  

Scenario:We charge customers a flat fee for expedited shipping (let’s say $10). To accomplish this in Acumatica, we use a shipping term that adds $10 to the sales order.On our end however, we use different carriers based on location using the external plugin feature (linked to different ship-via codes). As a result, Acumatica is adding the freight COST from the carrier as a freight PRICE to the customer in addition to the shipping terms fee.This is because on the  “Order types” screen, we have “calculate freight” set to true.If we set “calculate freight’ to false, it will disregard the flat fee as well. Question:Is there a way to make it calculate only the shipping terms and NOT pass the ship-via cost onto the customer?I know we can hard code the flat fee as premium freight, and get rid of the shipping term, but that is to ideal for us for other reasons.

Hi, Is there any possibility to get a sales order to the complete status though the quantities in the line level are not shipped fully? Regards  

I’ve read through the instructions on how to Link a Line on a AP Bill to a Landed Cost document, however I can’t seem to get it to work once the bill is released. Is that a known limitation? It’s not noted on the Wiki help page. 

We have a need to dynamically set the from address on a notification template that is triggered/sent out from a business event. The general idea is that we want the from address to be one of our sales associates based on the record that is being sent from the business event GI to the notification template. the data is readily available, however, the selector for “from” only shows the system email accounts that have been setup, and doesn’t allow me to set the from address dynamically.In this scenario, actually each of the associates do in fact have a corresponding system email accounts setup.Does anyone know if this is technically possible without creating separate business events for each of our sales associates/from addresses?

HelloI ran into an issue that the Cash Discount does not automatically apply to an SO Invoice nor to AR Invoice if a prepayment or payment is applied to Sales Orders. We don’t have an issue with customer’s terms and cash discounts when applying a payment “on time”- Cash Discount is calculated and applied, AR Invoice is closed, everything OK there. Example # 1- non issue:I can either start a new Payment and Application transaction or pay from Invoice itself.  Payment from client is taking the discount, it falls within the days where they get a discount. Acumatica comes up in Cash Discount Taken column calculating the amount correctly. I release payment, it closes AR Invoice. we are done. 

Hi ,Would like to seek advise if its really ok to edit the Line description of an item and how it will impact the Inventory movement?For example, I'm creating a PO (figure 1), then I edit the line description of the AALEGO500 to AAA and it allowed by the system (figure 2). How will it affect the inventory? One thing more, is it possible to sort the item alphabetically, with the sample in the print out, I can sort the item description ascending and descending (figure 3) but when I print it out it didnt displayed alphabetically (figure 4). Figure 1  Figure 2  

Hi all, How do I bypass the Lot/Serial# and Expiry Date in Receipt and what settings in Lot/Serial Number (Preferences) do I configure? Thanks

I have a client with numerous warehouses and they need the flexibility to receive items into locations associated with Projects in multiple warehouses. They want to be able to associate a warehouse location with a project in multiple warehouses but leave the task blank for flexibility on the receipt transaction (items sometimes are diverted to different warehouses than indicated on the PO). It does not seem possible to have a project associated with a location in multiple warehouses without a task. What am I missing?

Can you begin to enter physical inventory tags before the month is closed? Enter only, not posted.  (Enter tags while counting is still going on and invoicing has not yet been finalized.) 

Is there any way to reference a credit memo in a quote?  We are offering a “credit” for a trade in stock item and want to be able to show that credit on the quote. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

When Related Items are enabled for inventory items, Acumatica will prompt the user that there are related items at the sales order screen. However, this prompt only seems to happen for sales order types that use the Sales Order automation behavior (as set up under sales order preferences → order types). If you have a sales order type set up with the Quote automation behavior, related items does not prompt the user. It seems to me that I’m missing something in the setup because the quote phase is best opportunity for cross & up sell. Does anyone know how to enable related items for the quote type (ie. order type = QT) sales orders? We are using 2022R1 Build 9. Thanks for the help!!Best,Amit

When i am Clicking on “OK” button the foolowing error was occurred error: “CR Error: At least one recipient must be specified for the Email activity.” 

I am trying to create a demo to mess around with so we can be as educated as possible before we start using Acumcatica live. I have downloaded the installer from this site and installed it according to the installation guide and I inserted the “Sales Demo” data to mess with. When I go to pull up the website it first says that it refused the connection and then I get a 503 Error. I open up my IIS manager and that application pool has stopped. I also look in the event viewer for a clue and I get 5 warnings.The first 3 state the following:“A process serving application pool 'Acumatica' suffered a fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation Service. The process id was '24456'. The data field contains the error number.”The second 2 state:“A process serving application pool 'Acumatica' terminated unexpectedly. The process id was '23804'. Is there a possibility to add a side panel on sales quotes and sales orders to display the availablelot quantities for that items. We are using lot numbers for all electrical cable lengths in stock.When adding the inventory ID the side panel should show the available lengths of cables that we have in stock.For example: a customer calls and ask for 100 of a cable. If the side panel shows that a length of 95 m is available, he most likely will accept that quantity. Currently you have to open another GI screen, search for that item and confirm the available length. it would be much faster if you don’t have to leave the QT or SO screen and get the information from the side panel.Kind regards,

Is there a way in current functionality to set up tiered vendor discounts?I have this caseIf PO total amount is from 0 to 10,000 then apply a 15% discountif PO total amount is  100,000 then apply the 15% discount to the first 10,000 and apply 10% to the remaining 90,000 if PO total amount is  500,000 then apply the 15% discount to the first 10,000, then apply 10% to 90,000 and then apply 5% to the remaining 400,000 and so onThanks  

2021R2 version.  We receive an EDI 850 from our customer.  Through True Commerce APIs, we create a sales order in Acumatica.  Later, we receive an EDI 860 change order from our customer.  Our business does not want this change order to be automatically applied to the existing sales order in Acumatica.Instead, our business wants us to generate an exception report that lists the content of the 860 (e.g. header info, line item data) and generate exception messages where the 860 change order is different than the sales order on Acumatica.  For example, provide exception message that the line item quantity changed, or that a new line item was being added to the sales order.  This exception report would go to the customer service rep., who would review the changes and manually enter them on the Acumatica sales order if accepted.  Has anyone already built functionality that creates custom change order tables (header, lines, notes), and then matches this to the sales order alr

Hi everyone, I want to set approval condition when PPV field is non-zero but I don't see PPV Amount field on assignment maps screen, anyone have an idea to set up I’ve already tried to set up on another screen (Bills & Adjustments) or purchase order but it doesn't work. 

Has anyone found a solution for handling secondary or overflow bin locations in warehouse management? We have several items that say, don’t fit on Shelf 1 (because we stock so much of it), so the rest of the inventory on hand might be on Shelf 2. Currently, I do not see a place where I load this information into the system, therefore the picker only knows to go to shelf 1 and pick what is there. He does not/will not know there might be more inventory in another location. Has anyone come across a solution for this?This will also cause problems with physical and cycle inventory counts.

Hi,I am trying to create an A/P Approval Workflow so it’s based off who entered a PO that is linked to a Project or Owner who created the PO under Purchases. Sometimes this workflow will require a 2 step approval process or a 1 step based on who entered the PO. Hi All, Can you help me about my concern, this is the scenario we do After publishing a customization, Test some procedures from Purchase Order (PO) Select vendor, In Document Details when I select the InventoryID, and the error suddenly appears and it says “error occurred during processing of the field InventoryID: Error: An incorrect type of extension has been requested ”  I also checked in Stock Items and all the inventory items are active  What should I do next? Thanks
