Adjustments for the Stock item with Lot with Expiry date

Hi, when posting any Adjustment to the Stock Item with Lot/Serial Number and Expiry date, if a user accidently enters a different Expiry date,  the system updates the Expiry date on all the stock for that item and set this new expiry date. can this be prevented or tracked so the client can see the old and new dates?

Many Thanks

One way to track changes is with Audits. Consider adding an audit to the Expiry Date field.

Question:  Are they entering a ‘new, accidental’ expiry date for a Lot the system already knows about?  So, here, you’re asking about a warning being provided to let the user know that maybe they made a typo?

The Warehouse manager has concern that a user might enters the different/wrong expiry date which will results in updating the date on all stock for that lot.
