Hi Everyone.

W are looking to enable the Acumatica physical inventory module in our company.  It seems that the inventory selected to be counted will be locked in the system during the process and we typically count during our operating hours.  I wonder how others have dealt with this issue.

Any feedback or experience you may have with this module would be appreciated

@lorneweinstein just the stock items, which are included in an open PI Document, are frozen for inventory transactions. Maybe you can split the counting to more steps as it fits for your company and your daily business?

We try to do counts outside of hours, but if you need to do them during hours there are some pretty robust ways to target which items are locked and counted. You can split them up and do it in batches by location, product category, etc. Doing them in batches allows you to minimize the affected products.
