I recently created a pivot table off a GI that shows unit inventory and sales. The inventory piece is a bit challenging in that the Qty Available is correct, but on some lines it’s showing up as two separate numbers - always double what the actual available amount is.I’ve checked the GI and it shows the correct value, so I’m wondering why it’s doubling in the pivot table.not all records are like this. only a few. see below. Is there something wrong with the inquiry or is this a bug in the system?thanks!Joseph
Issue Description: We have locked down the Stock Item screen to prevent users from adding/modifying vendors on inventory items. However, we've discovered that users can bypass this restriction through the Purchase Order workflow:User creates a PO with a Stock Item and adds a vendor that isn't currently associated with that item When the PO is received, the system automatically adds the vendor to the Stock Item's vendor list This circumvents our intended security controls on Stock Item vendor managementCurrent Setup:Stock Item screen access is properly restricted for regular users Users have appropriate rights to create and receive POs This appears to be happening during the standard PO receipt processQuestion: What's the recommended approach to prevent vendors from being automatically added to Stock Items during PO receipt when users don't have direct rights to modify Stock Item vendors?I've considered:Purchase Order Preferences settings (but haven't found the right option) Stock Item
Hi everyone,is it possible to change components from an Non Stock Kit in an Sales Order, Shipment or in the service order?I haven´t found a way to do that. Thanks a lot.
Hi Team, I hope you’re doing well. I am working on a client requirement to automate their card payment re-authorization process. I’m currently testing this in my local instance (2025R1) but have run into an issue. I have two Sales Orders with expired payments, but they are not appearing on the Credit Card Processing screen. Despite adjusting the parameters, I still can't get them to show up. Is there a specific setting or step I might be missing? Screenshots below are the two SO with expired payments and Credit Card for Sale screen. Thanks Everyone! :)
On the print confirmation the lines and qty duplicate. lines nbrs 1 and 3.
I am trying to create a role for an ECommerce administrator, who needs access to only update the stock item descriptions (body) in Acumatica. The rest of the screen’s fields must be inaccessible for her to change.I can only find a container element for “description”, and I think this will be for short description (name). Any ideas where I can find the container and container element for the body description?
Hi AllWe have Purcahse Order approvals enabled in our environment (24R1).Our PO screen was modified to include a few custom date fields (see image attached) that would need to be populated at different times based on the shipment from the vendor such as estimated shipping date, customs clearance date, etc. Everytime a date has to be entered in one of these fields, the PO has to be placed on hold. When it is taken off of hold, the PO requires approval again. Is it possible to have these dates changed and not require approval when the PO is taken off of hold? Maybe by tweaking the conditions of the approval map or having multiple approval maps?ThanksAmitCustom fields on PO screen where dates need to be entered at different times
Hello everyone,We have an inventory item with the tracking method set to “Track Serial Numbers”, which allows users to manually enter serial numbers. We recently added a feature for some inventory items to auto-generate serial numbers from a numbering sequence on the Save action. However, when trying to assign the generated serial number to the Lot/Serial Number field during Save, we encounter the following error:“Key field cannot start with a leading space.”We are confident that the serial number generated from the numbering sequence does not contain any spaces.Could someone advise on the correct approach to assign auto-generated serial numbers to serial-tracked inventory items on Save without triggering this error?Thank you in advance! protected virtual void POReceiptLine_RowPersisting(PXCache sender, PXRowPersistingEventArgs e, PXRowPersisting BaseEvent){ BaseEvent.Invoke(sender, e); var lineitem = (POReceiptLine)e.Row; if (lineitem == null) return; if (Convert.ToSt
Hi all,Does anyone know how to change / update the date that Acumatica uses to calculate the dead stock? As it stands, i can run a dead stock report - not selecting any days - by warehouse and items show up.I want to see what the date that Acumatica is comparing the items against to determine dead stock.*Note: I did do a search on the community and didn’t see an answer to this. :)Thanks!Joseph
After upgrading to 2025R2 from 2024R1, we are no longer able to manually add a partial quantity Ship Complete SO line to a consolidated shipment (status: On hold) and save. Now the shipment line with an incomplete Ship Qty (ex.4 of 6 items available) must have the Shipped Qty set to zero before being allowed to save.In the end we want to ship the line complete and are waiting for the transfers to complete. I understand the error if we were trying to Remove Hold. Is there a new setting in 2025r2 which has caused this behavior to be exhibited on shipments?
What is the best process for the following szenario …Sales Order (SO) one normal stock Item but completely out of stock Order Qty.: 20 pieces PurchaseOrder (PO) for SO from Vendor 1 Order Qty: 20 PurchaseReceipt (PR) Qty.: 10 PO for the rest of 10 pieces from Vendor 2Thanks in advanceDeniz
Hi all,I recently created 2 separate Generic Inquiries for my company. One is Inventory with Sales/Margin/Margin % info. The other is inventory with units by location by warehouse. My goal is to combine these 2 GIs into one master GI to avoid having to switch between different reports when viewing sales and inventory information.Below are the data sources for the FIRST Generic Inquiry: Inventory Units & Cost by Warehouse. When I use this GI as a data source for a new GI, NO fields show up even after selecting them in the results field. I have not joined anything to this in the new GI yet, so I doubt it’s a data relation mapping issue.Conversely, when I use the other GI - Inventory by Sales/Margin/Margin % - as a data source, all records populate when I show them in the results field. Both individual data source tabs are shown below.thanks all!Joseph
Hi, how can I assign a cost to an item that is sold by the sales team on a sales order but is not purchased through our purchasing process? For example, we resell an employee’s day rate when they work on-site at a customer location. Currently, because there is no associated purchase transaction, the system records the sale as 100% profit, which is not an accurate reflection of the true margin.Could you advise on the correct approach to ensure the cost is properly captured and reflected in margin reporting?
When a customer decides to pay using a credit card, we charge an additional 2.5%. Is there a way to increase item cost by 2.5% when payment type CC is selected? I see where we can offer cash discounts by days but not an increase by term type. If not, I plan to create a Non-Stock item “Credit Card Fee” where we can calculate the 2.5% manually and add it to the order.
If an item is setup as base Unit Cases and Purchase Unit Pallet, the PO cost information does not convert properly if changed from one to the other. Changing the unit cost first, then changing the UOM or Qty causes the ext cost to be incorrect
I am trying to accomplish the following:Store and Sell item in EAchesOrder in CARrtonsRound up to full CARton on POExample:Carton of 2Customer needs 3 EAI need the PO to be 2 CARtonsCustomer will then get 3 and 1 will end up in stock.I can get it to order 1 case if the customer only needs 1 EA. But if the customer needs 3, it will put 1.5 on the PO. I can't order half a case. How do I get the PO to round to full Cases?I tried Lot size of 1 (and of 2) neither works.
One of client has below requirement. For easy stock movement and selling purposes they keep some items as 12 piece pack. During their sales operations, sometimes they sell the items as 12 piece packs as well as individual pieces. They have some scenario where they provide 1 individual piece as a free item when selling 12 piece pack. they are not keeping seperate item stock to provide as free item and they take individual units from 12 packs. How can we handle this.
Is there a way to automatically load each individual sales order line ship date based on the stock item or manufacturing lead time? We have thousands of parts, and most items are made to order. We have estimated lead times for each part (based on BOM routing and some Manufacturing Lead Time) so we manually have to select the estimated date on each line item when lead times differ drastically.
Is there any way to only trigger awaiting approval notification once not multiple times after the document is approved, placed on hold, make some changes, then removed on hold? The changes that are made have nothing to do with conditions that triggered the approval.Ex:Approval map is setup in SO when an item is discounted 100%, approval is triggered. An SO is created and has the above condition met, approval is triggered, notification is sent, then approved by the approver. Then the sales user places the order on hold and make changes such as mark a line for PO, add description, etc but discount% remains the same. But when the order is removed from hold, approval notification is sent again. This is not a bit anoying especially the approver has approved the order and it’s necessary to make some changes to the order again.

We have lots of cases where we have parts which are used together, for example an enclosure and its backpan each with seperate part numbers. When we buy these items does acumatica have a way to tie these numbers together so that if either of those items are ordered it would also know to order the other item so that we can make sure we have the matching parts. Thanks
We recently implemented using a weight scale and connected to the device hub and we are now noticing the scale is creating 3-6X the ERP transactions in the database. The user is simply putting box on top of scale and selecting “capture weight” then removing the box but Acumatica is seeing this as 5X the transactions instead of 1 time. Anyone else going through this dilema? We are seeing the SCALE try to poll every two seconds in some cases. Thanks,Nirav S.
When we build Sales Quote our Freight has to be included on a line item and the taxes are one amount. Then when we convert it to a sales order the tax amount changes. Same address and same tax area for sales quote and sales order. Can you elaborate on why the taxes change? Is there a solution to fix this?
Hello Community,We have faced one unique problem where our punch out creates cross references for all the NON-STOCK items from PUNCHOUT orders. Recently one of our customer reported that one or more items have the same manufacturer part# but different UOM making Acumatica cross reference reject the alternate item entry. After researching we found that Acumatica cannot accept alternate ID with multiple UOM for the same manufacture item from the vendor.Have you faced similar issue with your PUNCHOUT or using alternate IDs and what solution have you implemented? By the way this PUNCHOUT feature is a native Acumatica customization developed by our team but we saw this problem as common to everyone who uses alternateID for their cross reference.Any feedback or solution on this will be greatly appreciated.Vivek Vemunoorivivek@xtramilesoft.com
Good day,Under Inventory Planning, is it possible to generate a forecast by customer class instead of by individual customer, without requiring customization? If customization is required, can this be achieved with no-code/low-code customizationKind regards,Wilson
