Has anybody figured out how to show multiple tracking numbers per shipment, so we can have that populated in an email template to notify our customers with all tracking numbers along with the URL linked. Just looking for an example if somebody has cracked this code. Scenario: Shipment document might have few line items which needs to be shipped and the shipper packages into multiple boxes and gets tracking number for all those boxes, the tracking number gets stored against each package. How do we show those tracking numbers in the email template with looping so it has the tracking number and URL to click. Appreciate the response.
I’ve discovered an issue with the way Acumatica is managing the `POVendorInventory.IsDefault` field We have a number of items that can be purchased in multiple UOMs which are set up on the VENDORS tab of the stock item. When removing we remove one UOM from the POVendorInventory table, the other purchase units are updated with the `POVendorInventory.IsDefault` field unchecked, leaving the item with no default vendor! This error happens whether we manage the item from the stock item listing or the Vendor Inventory (PO201000) table. The most confusing issue is that when you remove a UOM and save, the isDefault checkbox remains checked as True unless you refresh the page or hit Esc. This gives the appearance the the vendor remains the default vendor for the other listed Purchase Units As I’ve noted elsewhere, this is a very odd field as it’s critical to a lot of purchasing and yet it is listed as “Nonexistent in DB” and can’t be updated via the Vendor Inventory (PO201000) screen or adjuste
Hi All,Has anyone encountered this issue before where no customers are showing up when we add a new SO. I am using a demo dataset. I appreciate all the help.Thanks.
In the case where an employee sometimes is reimbursed for Employee expenses (Travel, Living, Lodging and Entertainment come to mind) but also provides services which are not part of their employment contract, i.e. Advertising. When entering the bills for these activities, is there a way to indicate for each item whether it is reportable as a 1099 reportableactivity as opposed to an employee expense re-imbursement, which would not be considered income, and should not be reported on a 1099.
After hearing a lot of feedback around the number of scans and some confusion around the Set Qty feature during picking, we are designing an enhancement to the quantity entry for the Pick, Pack, and Ship screen. The following four sections are what we consider to be potential modes of behavior. Each section contains a Click Count which summarizes the actions required for each Mode. We will use an example of a shipment for five (5) units of one item.Legacy Mode: Quantity increases by 1 per scan. Using the Set Quantity button replaces the picked quantity with the number entered on the screen. To pick our example shipment, we would need the following steps: Scan the Shipment Number Scan the Location Scan the Item => (Quantity Picked: 1 of Quantity 5) Click Set Qty Enter 5 => (Quantity Picked: 5 of Quantity 5) Confirm Shipment Click Count: 6 actions total. 3 actions per line item. Incremental Qty Mode: This mode is the same flow as Legacy Mode, only Quantity is Incremented rath
When creating a shipment from a sales order, is there a setting or configuration that does not automatically populate/allocate the Warehouse location? We would like to leave that blank/unallocated and give the picker all the qty on hand on the pick list.Once they pick, then they choose the location before confirming.
We have a customer seeking “sales order automation”. Essentially they want something similar to AP automation to read a customer PO and create sales order / quoteIs there a third party that could provide this functionality ?
I have a WIP import scenario that works if and only if the serial number that is being allocated is Available for Shipping, with is correct, but if one of the serials I am trying to allocate is not available the whole import scenario fails and no serials get allocated at all even the available ones.I get this error “ The record was not processed because of an error during processing of the previous record” Thank you for anything that might help me get to the bottom of this.
Does anyone know why it is no longer possible to print shipping labels using Screen “Shipments”, ScreenID “SO302000” or Screen “Process Shipments”, ScreenID “SO503000” after shipping is confirmed or invoiced? → “Print Labels” is inactive → Only Shipments with confirmed status are listedAre there any settings that make reprinting possible in the cases described above? Thanks in advance.
Hi Team,Hi,I’ve just received a landed cost invoice (dated 2026) for goods on a purchase receipt in 2025. If I enter this bill at it’s current date in 2026, but assign the costs to the goods on the purchase receipt dated 2025, will it change our inventory value at Dec 31 2025 Year end?
Item in available in 2 locations at warehouse. They shipment is created to pull from location “A”Using Pick Pack Ship the customer wished to be able to change the location to pull the product from location “B”I this possible ?
We create a lot of BL orders and would like to email our client the full order so they know when to expect their product to be shipped to them. When we attempt to email that order. I get the following error. Is there something we are missing in our process to be able to send the whole BL order? This is just the initial BL. The ST send fine as they order is created. Also, if we want to change the options within each line, can that be changed via the options up top or will a new line have to be created with the new information?Thank You!Brent
Hello, we are in 2024R1, can anyone please suggest the best way to hide this side panel. We are able to hide the actions inside the side panel but not the entire panel.
Hi,Have noticed that when it comes to shipping our manufactured items, the Shipment document will split one shipped item ID into multiple lines, which corresponds to one for each quantity we produced under Move/Labor under Manufacturing.I presume this is because an allocation is created for each Move/Labor document, as opposed to the gross produced quantity as a whole.Needless to say, this can get rather messy when shipping, if for example we manufacture 1 units per day for 60 days. When we ship the 60 units, we end up with a long Shipment document of 60 lines of the identical item with 1 qty each and a puzzled freight carrier. Is there any way of consolidating the Shipment document to present this as one shipment line based solely on the Inventory ID?Thanks in advance!
Ex. I need to set up work flows in my interwork like below:Step 1: Sale Order creates a Sale order.Step 2: The SO is sent to the accountant for review.Step 3: If approved, it moves to the Financial Manager for verification.Step 4: If approved, it moves to the General Manager for final approval.Step 5: Once approved by the GM, the PO status changes to Approved and can be processed further. Please kindly help me to show how to set up it and I don't how to set up correctly and chose. Thank so much for sharing
Hi, I’m trying to set up an approval map for orders based on the terms in the financial section of the SO. See attached image. However the orders don’t go into approval mode. It goes straight to open.
Hi everyone,We’re running into an issue with Amazon ASNs generated from Acumatica that is currently blocking Amazon shipments, and we’re looking for guidance or best practices.Scenario: We use Acumatica integrated with TrueCommerce for Amazon shipments. Transaction Manager is configured for Pick & Pack. However, ASNs generated from Acumatica are still coming through as ASNType = No Pack. When Transaction Manager expects Pick & Pack but receives a No Pack ASN, the import fails with “Import Format Not Found” (understandably, due to the ASN type mismatch). What we’ve observed: Shipments can be confirmed even if the Pack step is not fully completed. In some cases, a package row exists, but: No contents are assigned to the package, and/or No tracking number exists prior to shipment confirmation. When we attempt to use Auto Pack, we receive an error indicating that the shipment items are not represented in an Auto-Pack Template. Because packages (with contents + track
Hi We have 9 warehouses and use average cost. We want the same stock item to have the same average cost across all warehouses. Unfortunately, this isn’t working for us, and each warehouse has its own average cost. This makes sales margin reporting a nightmare. Our auditors are also questioning our inventory costing method. Can Acumatica do the same average cost for an item across all warehouses? The help manual says “yes”,If the Average valuation method (also known as average moving cost) is assigned to the stock item, the unit cost will be calculated as the average weighted cost of all items at the warehouses—that is, the total costs of all quantities of the inventory items at the warehouses divided by the total quantity.but our support company says “no”. thanks
A number of ERPs have the option run weighted average costing at a Stock Item level. While Acumatica has an average cost on the price/cost tab of a stock item, cost of sales on invoicing and stock valuation uses Item Warehouse average cost or Location average cost (if costing at location level). Is there a solution to achieve Item level costing? I am considering running standard cost and using a business event triggered by IN Receipts to recalculate a stock level average cost; update the Pending cost ;and then use an import scenario to run the Update Standard cost process. What I need is a GI that does the right calculation. Unfortunately when standard cost is used the average cost stored on a stock item is the standard cost and the actual average cost is not recorded. If any one has tried and would share the GI, this would be appreciate.
We have a customization that displays a warning popup with Yes/No buttons when an item is added to a Sales Order with a unit price of 0 or 999.99.If the user selects Yes, they can proceed with the line item at 0 or 999.99 and save it. If the user selects No, the system cancels the added line. This functionality works correctly when users manually add or update items. However, when we copy and paste a Sales Order that includes items with a 0 or 999.99 unit price, the system displays a browser-level alert (with only an “OK” button) instead of the expected Yes/No confirmation popup.Could you please help us achieve the same Yes/No confirmation behavior when an order is copied or pasted?
I would like help on adding the AP Bill number to the Acumatica PO Receipts GI,Helpful to see if have PO Receipts with no AP Bill.
We are using the Distribution module as as of January 2026 are required to capture attributes for product. We can set it up on the stock item tab once if it’s based on the item (only 1 vendor). If there are multiple vendors for the item, how can we setup the attributes to be specific to the vendor? I realize there is a way to capture the attribute at the lot/serial number level however that would require entry for each item receipt. (Lot of work!)Example:Item Vendor Brand (Attribute)85204 Vendor A New England Food85204 Vendor B Kraft85204 Vendor C P&G
I’ve been looking around and see that it should be possible to use the Create Purchase Order screen to create 1 PO from multiple Sales Orders lines. But when I click the POs I want to combine, it creates multiple POs. Is there a flag or setting somewhere that I may be missing. The POs are for the same item and same vendor
Hello,We are looking into using USPS First Class Large Envelopes “Flats” (not a flat rate shipping method, but literally a flat envelope) to ship a majority of our products. We sell small, thin envelopes of seeds. We will save about $100k a year in shipping costs by switching from Ground Advantage to USPS First Class Large Envelopes. Is anyone using this service method in Acumatica?I do not see this as an option when setting up a Ship Via. We have an integration with stamps.com and it does exist as a service method on our account:I wonder if we have to do something similar to when we set up Med/Large Flat Rate ship vias? We had to do some heavy lifting to get those working:First by creating new Carrier IDs for each of those:→ then putting those new Carrier IDs in the Ship Via as the “Carrier”→ Then adding specific BOX IDs to the packages tab of the Ship Via I wonder if we have to do the same for First Class Large Envelopes? The only wrinkle is that these are NOT flat rates. Depending on
If the client purchased an incorrect item from a Vendor, and the item is returned with a restocking fee (no replacement will be sent by the Vendor), how do you process that? There are 2 separate scenarios:The original Bill is still Open. The original Bill is Closed.
