How to clean inventory transit expired from item plan or can receipt it

Hello everyone,I am currently working on a customization where I want the Contact from the Sales Order (SOOrder) to be displayed in the Shipments (SOShipment). I'm running into issues.What is the best approach to achieve this functionality?Any guidance or code examples would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance!

Hi ! We use the BL type of Sales Orders to follow quantity Sales and invoiced.I only use non-inventory item with SO Invoice without Shipment. But How could I track the real quantity into customer Order when a credit memo is created for correcting a invoice ?I E : If we create a child SO Order then invoice it and after that create a credit memo(from AR30100 because of no shippment restriction) for some reason with reducing the quantity invoiced. How could the blanket order reflect the real quantity into sales order and invoices linked ? I could copy my SO into a RC one but it would be linked with my BL Sales order. Thank for your help 

Hi Acumatica Community,We’re running into a costing behavior that doesn’t match our expectation of how Average Costing should work, and I’d like to understand how to address it properly.Scenario:We’re using Average as the costing method on our stock items. We received 5 units on a PO at $9.50 per unit. A Landed Cost was posted afterward for $9.00 per unit, bringing the total unit cost for those 5 units to $18.50. We then received 10 more units at $9.00 each, with no landed cost. The overall average cost at this point should be:((5 × 18.5) + (10 × 9.00)) ÷ 15 = $11.67 However, when we ship the first 5 units, Acumatica still uses the $18.50 unit cost instead of pulling the

Wondering if anybody has come up with a solution to show duplicate lot/serial numbers if used in different item classes?  Client needs to be able to resolve duplications of serial numbers when posted, we have the Lot Serial Class set to Share Auto-Incremental Value between all class items but it doesn’t stop you posting the same serial number to an item in a different class.  I created a GI to show duplicates by joining the InSiteLotSerial to the InSiteLotSerial as an alias but have had to use groupings to get it to work,  I then can’t get a business event to send an email when a new record is inserted due to grouping.   I have tried other tables InItemLotSerialInfo but this doesn’t report correctly and struggling to find away without going down the customisation route of extending Dacs etc.

We currently have our sales order types set to pull from the Customer Location for the “Combine Sales Sub From” setting (so it’s set to LLLL).  We are setting up a new sales order type that we’d like to hard code to a specific subaccount, instead of telling it to pull from somewhere.There are plenty of places to pull the subaccount from (and we use almost none of them), so I could plug it in on the warehouse or even the inventory item and pull from there, but if I am able to plug in a specific subaccount in this field, it would make it even easier.

Hello! We have 15 different locations that need to be set up under one company and we are thinking of either setting them up as 15 different branches or as different subaccounts. Any best practices or pros and cons for doing either branches or subaccounts?We are open to any suggestions!Thanks!

Hi there!  I saw a post on this topic from 2 years ago so looking for a refresh.   We do not use inventory...most of our projects are special order.  That said, we palletize materiala and put them on racks in our warehouse until we can ship them to the job site.   We have a new warehouse assistant.  He would like us to get a printer to print these labels….I am assuming we should also get the capability to read barcodes.  1) Any ideas based on the situation I just described 2) what has everyone else had success with  3) what am I not thinking of :)  Thanks in advance! 

Hello Everyone,We have a multi-company client that makes intercompany sales/purchases for the same items between multiple different companies. Intercompany Sales Order generation requires a default warehouse for the creation of the Sales Order.  Customer and Stock Item default warehouses do not work becuase the same stock item could be sold to multiple different intercompany customers.Is there a way to default the warehouse by the selling branch?   Thank you!Luke

 Hello,There is a Acumatica customer that is about to reach the end value of their ARINVOICE sequence.   What is the best way to expand this sequence number range and what are the pros and cons? 

We have a situation where we agree to credit and refund a customer for a faulty item but we don’t ask for the item back.For reporting purposes we want to process this through sales orders rather than in AR as we want to track the stock items, quantities & values of these.Is there a way to process such a return that does not generate a stock receipt transaction ? Does anyone else have this kind of process to deal with and if so how do you handle it ?Many thanks !

Is there a way to add the Case Packaging Dimension by UOM in the Packaging Tab under Stock ItemWe have full cases at a specific dimension and weight then we have single items at its own dimension and weight.

How do you have a distribution addition and not include DRP in it? I find it curious that if this is such a need functionality, why is it not core to the product? Thoughts?

Hey folks !I create SO Invoice by adding lines from a sale order.(I would like to invoice partially some lines of the sales order, So I created a new invoice, add the lines I wanted and change the quantity from 5 to only 1.)But after that, the status SOLine statut is automatically change to “completed” even if there is unbilled qty .Why ? I would to do multiple invoice from a same SO Order ? Thanks for your help.  

When looking up a Location in forms like an Inventory Issue transaction, make it so that locations with inventory on hand show up first.  The current lookup in an inventory Issue sorts purely by Location which usually forces the user to filter on the on hand column.One idea I had was to add a check box at the top of the Location lookup screen that is labeled something like “On Hand Only” that is checked by default, which would filter the listing down to locations that have inventory on hand.Another idea is to just sort first by On Hand descending, and then by Location.This idea has been in my head for years, but a new customer that is about to go-live asked me about this today.

on the following order the subtotal is $2154.72. But on the SO there is no section for it. Is there a way to have it appear in the top section of a sales order?  

I was asked by a client to change the Sales Order status “Completed” to “Shipped” because they found “Completed” misleading. (Completed orders may or may not have been invoiced.) I didn’t find a way to change the workflow status description in the customization workflow, so I looked for a different option. I changed it in the Translation Dictionaries, which I find even simpler. This value was used in multiple places and I could choose to change it globally or by screen. In the example below, I changed the status description for Sales Orders but left it as Completed for Purchase Orders.Hopefully this is helpful for someone looking to make a similar change.

Hi Team,I am encountering an issue when attempting to import a refunded order into Acumatica. Below are the steps I followed: A sales order was created in Shopify and successfully imported into Acumatica. A shipment and invoice were created for the sales order and released in Acumatica. The order was refunded in Shopify. When trying to import the refunded order back into Acumatica, I receive the following error for all refund orders "Inserting 'AR Payment record' raised at least one error. Please review the errors. CashAccountID: Cash Account 'TT' cannot be found in the system. Please verify whether you have proper access rights to this object." We do not have any customizations deployed in this instance and I have reviewed all relevant configurations related to Cash Accounts. The payment has the appropriate branch Cash Account set up, and everything appears

How do I get a list of all contacts listed in Acumatica? We do not have the CRM module. 

Hi Team When I send an email using below actions> Purchase order> Print purchase order> send- When I click send I am getting only signature in the email body, however the subject line shows as expected. I am unable to reproduce the issue in another instance or local instance.
