My customer want to configure the users for they only can transfer to one location, this is possible?

Defaulting PO Source "Purchase to Order" to "Customer" type

Hi!I would like to have the Purchase to Order po source set to create a Purchase Order with the Shipping Destination Type set to “Customer” rather than the default of “Warehouse”. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to make this adjustment? Thank you

Update Shipping Line Error that the warehouse will go negative.

I have found this similar error for other transactions but has anyone specific seen it when Confirming a Shipment? i have only had this issue with production parts and recalculating the inventory does not remove the negative qty in our shipping location.

How is dead stock calculated?

Hey all!I want to understand how the dead stock inquiry is calculated. We are in a manufacturing setting so our consumption of inventory are “issues” instead of sales.  How is the “dead stock quantity” and the “In dead stock (Days)” calculated?  Thanks for your help!

Stock Kit Component Substitutions

We create kits that have multiple stock items, all of which can be substituted. I know about adding related items to the stock items, but I cannot use that function because each of the components of the kit are also sold individually and the items we might substitute for in the kit we would never substitute for on individual stock item sales.I have a different, laborious solution (allowing component variances and listing ALL possible items, including subs, in the kit components and then adjusting the amount used to 0 for any not being used in assembly), but, I’m also trying to figure out how to use the Substitution tab in the Kit Specifications. It seems like you should be able to identify substitutions here, but I can’t figure out how to make it work and I can’t find any published information on it. Does anyone know how this tab functions?I’m including a screenshot of what it looks like. In this kit I have a stock item, Bergamot, where I’ve added a substitute of Panorama Bee Balm on t

How to create all matrix variant combinations at once

If you have more than two variant attributes, is there a way to create all possible variant combinations at once?From what I can tell, you have to select a value for each of the non-Column/Row Attribute IDs (in the additional attributes table) and create those matrix items, then change one of those additional attribute values and create those matrix items, then change one of those additional attribute values again and create those matrix items, etc. I’m looking for a way to generate every possible variation without having to go through the tedious process of selecting each combination of additional attribute values.

Dont allow partial Allocation of Stock item

Hi,I have a customer scenario where they are trying to allocate stock through the Manage Sales Allocation screen (SO501010). Is there an option in the system to allocate stock only in the Base/Sales UOM or to prevent the allocation of partial inventory?

Sales Order Type to bypass "Prepare Invoice"

Good day CommunityI have a customer who creates an internal sales order to move stock for exhibition purposes. They do not want to create an invoice but the stock needs to be moved.Is there a way to close the shipment and ignore the “Prepare Invoice” step?Is there a way around this please? These shipments remain as confirmed, not complete.RegardsBarbara

PO History tab shows receipted qty in Base UOM rather than UOM in Purchase Receipt

Hi,One of our clients has many items with a base of UOM and a Purchase Unit of M2. These items are set up with conversion factors (as shown in the first image below) to correctly convert based on their formulas.This conversion setup seems to be causing some confusion in the PO History tab of the Purchase Orders screen, as a Purchase Receipt was processed using the M2 UoM, but the PO History tab in the Purchase Order is displaying the Receipted Qty in the EACH UoM, which is a much larger number after the conversion (second image below).After looking into the makeup of this field, I found that this PO History tab field is set up to use the Base Unit. Is there a way to ensure that this field always shows what was processed in the main Purchase Receipt record instead of converting to the Base UOM?Let me know if I can provide any other information.Kind regards,Andrew This is the conversion set up for the item shown in the PO and Purchase Receipt belowPurchase Order displays receipt in Base

EasyPost DHL Ship Via Codes changed?

We use DHL Ecommerce through EasyPost, and have had no issues for a year, but a few days ago DHL started to not return any rates.I noticed all the selectable codes now have SM in them, but in the trace for the error, the SM is not there, nor is it in the codes on the EasyPost site itself. Nothing was changed on our end before the errors started to happen. The codes look like this now. DHLSMParcelExpedited vs DHLParcelExpedited DHLSMParcelGround vs DHLParcelGround I’ve reached out to DHL, EP, and Acumatica and not had any luck. Any suggestions for what I can do?

Where are the 2 FA Settings for 12 hours or 30 days?

The 2FA instructions state Users can choose to trust a device for 12 hours or 30 days. Where is this setting?  Also… Our Users have to login with 2FA multiple times from the same devices. Why does that happen?

Virtual warehouse/inventory question

Hello we have a bit of a unique scenario. We primarily dropship all our orders. Due to inventory restraints at times one of our vendors allows us to purchase inventory ahead and store as “virtual” inventory till we need it. We then submit a PO to this vendor for shipping and they return a 0.00 AP Bill (since we already own the product) for the items + freight charges and any serial numbers that may apply to the product shipped.We would like to be able to monitor our inventory at the vendor for proper financial reporting, but would also like to be able to process the order as a drop ship PO instead of a shipment from one of our warehouses as we also drop ship other items from this vendor in the normal drop ship fashion and depending on the combination of items the PO would need to be shipped from the vendor’s stock instead of our “virtual” stock switching SO lines between Drop Ship and Shipping from our warehouse will be difficult.Has anyone done anything similar to this?

How to restrict purchase request quantity (GRN qty.) when it exceeds PO quantity

Hi All,Currently we can GRN any amount at the purchase request other the quantity specified in the PO. It only displays a warning that we are GRNing a quantity higher than PO quantity. We need to restrict this to a percentage of 10% of PO at the receipts.Is there a way to do this (Using current settings) without going for a customization.Your valuable ideas are highly appreciated…Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, how come in the actual Sales Order we can put the status to WO Pending when removed from Hold but it doesn’t seem to show in any filters or parameters?

Limit number of characters in request line description field?

On the Request form RQ301000, we would like to limit the number of characters in the RQRequestLine description field.  The default limit is 256.  Is there a relatively simple way to limit to 100 characters?

Inventory counting method for file upload

Is there a way to do an excel upload of the exact SKU list of inventory IDs we wish to have counted? (that do not share the same ABC code, class, or otherwise – Just a literal list of which ids we wish to have counted)I have read around and seen articles on importing the sheets of the inventory count totals, how to set up inventory counts by code or class or warehouse – However, this is about uploading the actual list of requested specific SKUs to count.

Error in "Process Data" Refund

I am receiving the error below when I try to process a refund from Shopify into Acumatica:SalesOrder.Details[0].WarehouseID: 'Warehouse' cannot be empty.Inserting  'Sales Order Line' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors.

Dont show Backorder on Sales Order Confirmation for specific Items

Im trying to think of a creative way to get around an issue we currently have, we’re implementing having sales order confirmations as we load a customers order, but a range of products that we make show up on Back Order.To take a step back, its mainly things we have to either make or decant. For example, 5L of alcohol. We store it in 1000lt tanks, decant as needed. This is a specific for a lot of stains for pathology use. Internally we send a copy of this to the warehouse or lab to be made, then kit assembly to build the item > create shipment ready for a picking slip.There could be a delay here though, sometimes a few hours, sometimes a day or two.Very rarely do they actually goto back order by the time the sales order is invoiced. Majority of the items where it would happen are critical to the order the customer is placing, I don’t want them thinking there is a delay with these products. But I don’t want to confuse all customers with a disclaimer in the body of the email sending t

Invoice # lookup for Overdue Charges on Payment Application

It’s possible that this is something fixed in later versions (we’re 23R1 currently).  When I’m in Payments and Applications, and I add a new line and select the Invoice type, I can then begin typing in an invoice number and it’ll search as I type.If I choose another type (I’ve tried Credit Memos and Overdue Charges), and begin typing in the reference number for one of those, the search as I type results come back as “No Results Found”.  I can click the magnifying glass and look up from there, or if I know the full number, I can type it in and hit tab and the details fill in.This isn’t a huge problem, but we’re trying to figure out why our lockbox module (from Crestwood) will never auto match overdue charge invoices, and we’re wondering if it may be that Crestwood is doing the same type of lookup (since the module just creates payment records).

Internal Approval Workflows - Modifying Attributes After Approval

This is our 3 months on this system so still a lot to learn. We're using internal approval workflows in Acumatica. My question is: is it possible to modify specific document attributes after an initial level of approval has been granted without triggering the entire approval process again?For instance, if a Project quote is approved by a manager, can we update the attributes without requiring re-approval by the manager or subsequent approvers?Additional Information:Acumatica version Acumatica 2023 R2 Build 23.211.0017 Looking at Project quotes attributes and updating the yellow highlighted fields.   Hope my question is making sense and that someone can be able to assist me.

Vendor Pricing tagged pricing is not taking when PO initiated from requisitions.

Dear Connections, I'm creating requisition with the item code "RR-01010" and an ordered quantity of 100. While doing vendor bidding, I select two suppliers, each with a quantity of 50. Finally, the purchase order is created. I can see that two POs have been generated. However, the problem was that the vendor price not taking on that PO.  Each vendor I set the different price.  While creating the direct PO, the vendor price was accurately taken but not from the requisition. Please advise on this query. Thanks Ram
