Looking for anyone in the Construction Industry that is charging projects a “Billable Rate”.We are moving into acumatica and are looking to use the timesheet entry screen for timesheets but need the system to be able to charge the jobs a billable rate from the hours on the timesheets. Then be able to see the actual “cost rate” on the project to see profitability on the projects.Has anyone come across this?

Both Project Tasks and Cost Codes provide ways to break out project transactions into data subsets.  To better understand Acumatica’s design, would love some forum user feedback as to real world examples of the following:Project Tasks Cost CodesAny explanation of the difference between these two data elements would be most helpful.Additionally:Are there instances where a single Project Task might be sufficient?Our company is not engaged in vertical construction projects, so looking to better understand the difference between these two data elements and how they might be applied to natural gas pipeline installation projects (labor, equipment rental, materials), natural gas pipeline repair projects (labor & equipment rental), and billable service projects (labor only). 

Hi:Is there in the Acumatica Construction project management module a project planning and status board where one sees in calendar/Gantt format all the projects, and where one can schedule a new project using drag and drop? Somewhat similar as in Field Services edition or now in Acumatica Manufacturing Edition -Advanced Planning and Scheduling - Visual graphic.This is so basic to project management.I hope that SmartSheet has it. Is there ‘a movement in saving or <overrun>’ or similar column available for the project cost budget screen? Or a column for Movement in Estimated Final Cost? This would = last cost at completion - cost at completion. Thanks,  

HiCreated a GI showing lots of details on projects and their cost and revenue budgets.    I can pick up the last invoice date ok but now looking for the date of the last cost transaction on the project anyone managed to populate this date?

Hello,Has anyone seen this error appearing in AP Prepare Payments, when the AP Bills have manually added lien waivers on them? Our version is 2022 R1. Thank you for any advice you can give. 

Hello,History: One migrated project had an error in previously billed amounts and needed adjustments.I tested the planned correction in a test tenant first and had no issues, so proceeded to repeat the same steps in Live.I followed the normal project-retainage migration steps to first create an AR Invoice dated 4/20 using Receivables Migration Mode.  I used Project Migration Mode to import a Proforma, also dated 4/20. The proforma import worked and it’s connected to the newly created AR invoice. I created a PM Transaction, also dated 4/20, representing the Revenue amount added, using module = AR.   I turned off both migration modes and ran the Recalculate project process. Then I ran Billing for the project and it produced the next Proforma.  The AIA is good, our amounts are now corrected.However… an error appears when selecting the new proforma from the PL, and when selecting subsequent pro formas cr

When an AIA billing is generated on a project with many items and some items don’t have any billings, the AIA report only shows billed items. Project owners want to see the AIA billing with all items, including those with no billings yet.I’m I missing an option to include all items on the AIA report or does this need to be a customization to the report?Here is the Revenue budget showing the item with no billing.Here is the AIA report missing the item above (this is one example, but many items have $0 billing and don’t show) 

 Is there a reason that the product doesn’t allow for a change order to be created to subcontracts directly from the subcontracts details area? We were expecting to see the add button (+) . What would be best suggested work around in anybody else experience?

When I create SO I can select a specific Lot/ Serial Number but I check stock that item with lot is still there I got this issue for all items with check lot on set and only when I link with the project.Please see our setup for the project as below:   

In the midwest weekly certified payroll reports are required with activity or without. The ones without are called and Mark as “NO Work”.   AAtrix and Acumatica only produce certified payrolls when there is activity.  Is anyone aware of a method for changing this so all reports are printed Thank you

Currently, Sales Orders take Salesperson from the Customer level. Is it possible to change the setting to take Salesperson as Project Level? 

Hello Everyone, I have a funtion that depending on what graph is calling it should do different stuff. I would like to pass the graph calling the function then compare it to some graphs and do what I need. Inside the function when I try to compare the input graph I get an error that "'Graph' is a variable but used like a type". Below is the code snippet. IS there a report or GI to generate labor and burden by project? Payroll and Construction modules seem to only want to show labor.

The Chage Orders screen PM308000 was opening with the Cost Budget tab selected.  Would like to change it to have the Change Requests tab selected.  I used the Screen Editor to set the SelectedIndex and tried all numbers between 0 and 9.  Below shows what tab ended up being selected. None of the numbers I tried set Change Requests tab to be selected.  The Change Requests and Revenue Budget have a value in the VisibleExp property.  If you watch closely when opening the Change Orders screen, Change Requests and Revenue Budget are not initially on the screen, but then appear.How can I make Change Requests tab be the one selected by default when opening the screen?

Hi there! Looking to see if anyone knows what this is.  I entered a reimbursement that the system isn’t happy with.  However, the paystub is now in limbo .. can’t release, can’t void, can’t edit.  I cannot release any subsequent paychecks.  Can anyone help me with this?

Wondering if there’s a formal way to transfer cost from one job to another?  We have a subcontractor that is adding $100K to one project and deducting $100K from another.  wondering the best way to do that.
