Does anyone know how processing data with the Push Notifications (SM302000) screen impacts licensing restrictions? As we all know, when developing external solutions that integrate with Acumatica, we need to keep in mind licensing constraints since Acumatica is licensed on transactions and not on users. With that in mind, I know that the following are best practices:When reading data from Acumatica, use OData instead of an API endpoint because OData calls are not subjected to the Maximum Number of Web Services API Requests per Minute limitation on the License Monitoring Console (SM604000) screen that API calls are subjected to. OData calls are essentially free, at least until the private equity firm that owns Acumatica decides to monetize them 😀 Keep in mind that any data you write back into Acumatica using the API is subject to the same Maximum Number of Commercial Transactions and Maximum Number of ERP Transactions limitation on the License Monitoring Console (SM604000) screen that yo

i have a client who is using task, item and cost code on their cost budget.  everything has it’s own description (task is filled out on the task tab of the project) however, when i add the cost code to the cost budget, the description inputs the cost code description, not the task description or the item description.  i was wondering if there was a way to change what description defaulted to that (ideally, i would like the inventory description to populate in the field):

We are almost ready for Go-live and the customer noticed that the description from the change request isn’t carried over to the Change Order. The process:Change request creation 00001 Click on the Create Change Order button to create the Change Order  While looking at the cost budget it’s empty. As seen on the screenshot below:

We use Sales Order (SO) Invoices for all our Field Service invoices.  Our SO Invoice has its own report design, which is different from that of an AR Invoice.  The invoices for Service Contracts ONLY use the AR Invoice report. Because we have several companies, we cannot modify the AR Invoice report to meet our service company’s specific needs.  I have submitted a case to Acumatica.  We are told that Service Contracts only use AR Invoices.  To use the Sales Order Invoice, a customization is needed.  This makes no sense to us.  We should be able to use our SO Invoices to bill a Service Contract.  We believe this should be an out-of-the-box feature.Does anyone have recommendations for using the SO Invoice for Service Contract Billing?

Is it possible to merge duplicate Vendor accounts into one?

I’ve noticed over the years that a string like .../(W(104))/… can be found in URLS, but I’ve never been able to determine what this indicates.  I can create a link without this section of the URL, however it resolves back with a number when the site comes up.  Can someone help me understand?

Trying to re-publish customisation as I am missing endpoint in copied Tenants.  Was hoping the missing endpoints will get created during the republish of customisation.  I am getting the following error.  Any idea what access level I need for my user.

We are trying to use a push notification to send inventory data from a GI to an outside system. We have created several other push notifications that are working as expected but our inventory push is not.We are currently using px.objects.in.inventoryItem as our table. Results tab: InvenotryID, SiteID, LastModifiedDateTime, & QtyOnHand.Nothing is hitting the push when inventory updates. Thanks,

Is there a way to take information on the Stock Item page and display it on the line when that part is chosen for a Sales Order?

Hi,I am creating a new Inventory Item Label with a QR code. This report is intended to generate inventory by warehouse and will be used with the Scan and Count feature in the Acumatica Mobile app.At present, the report is displaying as blank, and I am unsure of the root cause. I would greatly appreciate professional assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you.

Hi Team,When we select InventoryID in Sales Order screen, it should show Popup of InventoryItem “Add Pop-up Notes”. When we create Sales Order via Processing screen, it throws error. How to avoid this popup trigger while creating Sales Order via code? This is the code piece triggering for Popupprotected void _(Events.FieldUpdated<SOLine, SOLine.inventoryID> e, PXFieldUpdated baseHandler){    baseHandler?.Invoke(e.Cache, e.Args);    if (!Base.IsContractBasedAPI)    {        SOLine line = e.Row as SOLine;        if (line?.InventoryID == null) return;        InventoryItem inventory = InventoryItem.PK.Find(Base, line.InventoryID);        if (inventory == null) return;        string note = PXNoteAttribute.GetPopupNote(Base.Caches[typeof(InventoryItem)], inventory);        if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(note))        {            _inventoryNoteText = note;            _askInventoryNote = true;        }    }} Thank you

How would I run a report to show me the open AP documents for a specific period? Currently the reports are not tying because the AP bills were paid in a future period, so they seem to be omitted from AP Open Documents by Vendor. Our AP Aging report won’t work because it doesn’t seem to handle retainage documents.Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Is it a feature out of the box?

AP Check Form - Anyone already have a template with check in middle and remittances at top and bottom? Please see attachment sampleThanks.John

Wondering how others have dealt with this in the past or if there is an option or way through low code no code options to handle this - when you are shipping in Acumatica there is no requirement to pack the items or pack the shipment in full. This can lead to data and reporting not really making sense especially when things like EDI or other integrations are involved. We would like to ensure that when someone is shipping that everything that was picked on the order gets packed into packages, but there is not currently a way to set this up.It seems like something simple that there should be an option for this already. How have others handled this?

October 1 begins our fiscal year and all employees have received a raise. Is there a way to import the pay increases to all employees? I have already created a spread sheet with all the data that I believe is needed to import. Most of the earning codes are the same for a majority of employees. I am new to Acumatica but I am trying to learn as much as possible and I do not want to enter one by one.

I’m not sure what to do with Government Reporting this week.Whenever we try to process it through Aatrix it usually works fine. Starting last Friday it is giving us this error message when trying to run the Federal Tax Deposit:Any thoughts on what we are missing here? Thanks!

Hello, My boss is asking for an automated email of our inventory report every week. Currently we use a pivot table set up by our VAR to show our inventory at a quick glance.  however, i cannot automate this as an excel file email so i have to build a report. I’ve got all the data to show, however, each warehouse creates it’s own line. I’ve tried grouping, but that will only pull results for the BBPA location. I looked at possible solutions but adding =Sum to each line didnt work, grouping didn’t work, trying to hide the 0s in the conditions didnt work.  Any ideas on how to combine all of those lines into one single inventory line like the pivot table does?

It would greatly improve the ease of getting all costs onto our service orders if we could link an AP bill directly to a service order.  We do use the PO system for most of this, but still have expenses come in that we have to manually add to our service orders because there is not currently a way to link the bill in AP to the service order where we want the cost to show.

We need to the ability to have negative quantities on service orders so we can return items from a customer and back into inventory, while giving the customer credit for that return.

I’m looking to confirm that the following business event and subscriber should indeed trigger the “prepare invoice” button on a sales order. This business event is based on a generic inquiry that only shows sales orders with a specific ship zone and a status of open (so once the sales order is invoiced it will no longer be shown on the GI)XML To the GI is attached Action Execution: I can’t seem to get the business event to trigger for all of the records that already exist. I’m not sure when a new record will be added. Business event XML is added as well.Note I have tried the Raise Event: be “For Each Record” as well and wasn’t able to get it to initially run. Another thing I tried was counter filtering my GI so there were no records and then remove the counter filters so records would appear and that did not trigger the business event either.

Hi Team,I have noticed that in sales price worksheets once it is released, we are not able to make adjustments to it. However, when we click on ignore automatic line discount (Which is selectable though the worksheet is released) the entire worksheet is put back on hold for edits. Can anyone please explain to me what the intended functionality of this check box? I have tested with this and if we delete the worksheet and it doesn't remove the released prices in the sales prices form but this seems problematic for traceability. Thank you in advance on any thoughts. Warm regards,Yasali

Hello,I have a scenario where when the user navigates to Customers » Print statement and click on ‘send’ the email activity pop up is generated with the default email template configured in the Report designer Template ID.  However when the user clicks on select template » replacing email body the fields mentioned with ((XXX.XXX)) such as ((CustomerDefaultBillingContact.EMail)) in the email template is not getting populated.  This is the header of the email template the user selects when changing the default template to the custom one  however, only the text is appearing on the email  I had tried to add this template to the report designer to see if the fields are populating and they do appear properly. it doesn't work only when the template is changed. Appreciate if anyone could help me in identifying the issue here and how to resolve it.  Thank you so much in advance.
