Hello everyone, so our customer request to custom Asset ID. So, the Asset ID can be more specific from their asset class.
Here is the example of their customized Asset ID:
For now we set the Asset ID using Asset Numbering Sequence. Do we need to use customization Project to create the UDF or etc?
Do you guys have any suggestion? if we need to use customization Project please share the step that we can implied to our database. I really appreciate your help.

In my opinion, you should set up manual asset ID generation so you can create any asset ID you want.

If your customer insists on the automated Asset ID generation feature, you'll need to customize it. First, you need to clarify with the customer when to automatically generate the Asset ID: FA-EQ-xx and when to automatically generate the Asset ID: FA-VHC-xx. And then can you plan how to implement the customization.
