I’m a brand new user to Acumatica - have only been working live for about 2 months in Acumatica 2020 R2.We’re using Acumatica’s partner 1Retail to process retail sales thru our registers. After running “process retail transactions” in Acumatica, I have one error I just can’t figure out how to resolve.Retail transaction rang thru the register is:   37.10 pounds of boulders @ $ 0.45 per pound = $ 16.70$ 16.70 + 7.25% sales tax $ 1.21 = $ 17.91 total sale and cash collected from customer. Error Message says:  OP Error: ARInvoice Total out of balance. CuryLineTotal: 16.6900, CuryOrigDocAmt: 17.9000, CuryTaxTotal: 1.2100, CuryFreightTotal: 0.0000 Am I supposed to override the top boxes {Base Currency Totals} or {Transaction Currency Totals} ?  Change something in the line item details in bottom of the retail transaction log screen? If anyone knows of a “how to” manual regarding these errors I’d love to get my hands on one:)  

Hello all, thanks for taking the time to read my post.I am trying to import an email address into the Customers / Mailing Settings / Mailing ID - Email account field using an import scenario.I have developed an export scenario to try and find the relevant field and have had no luck finding it.And finally here is my Import Scenario - which I would like to put the new email address into.Can anybody help out with how I populate the Email above as it does not seem to have this field on the selection.Any suggestions would be very welcome - so thanks in advance !CheersJohn

Hello，     We have a need to sort on shipment screen in the following way:1, fristly, sort by temperature zone, which is a customized field stands for the stocking area, like frozen area, fresh area, or dry area.2, Then in each temp zone, sorting by Order Qty, from largest to smallest. currently, as I checked, if I firstly sort by temp zone, then secondly it would sort by line nbr. ascending, like by default implicitly.Is there a way to customize on it? Thanks.

A client implementing Acumatica Construction Edition is awarded contracts involving multiple similar projects which they manage collectively as a program.  For example, a national retailer may award them a contract to perform the same work at multiple stores (sites) across the country.  This is conceptually similar to projects and subprojects.  Have others encountered similar use cases?  How have you implemented them?Implementing the program as an Acumatica construction project isn’t ideal because each site has its own project address, project manager, subcontractors, schedule, etc.  On the other hand, Acumatica appears to not have a way out-of-the-box to group projects into a program.

documentation says you should be able to delete a general ledger transaction that is in a balanced status. I do not see that option. Does anyone know if this can be done and what settings and/or permissions are needed. thanks in advance.

Hello,      We are selling food, and we have several similar items, like: Chicken1, chicken2, chicken3, chicken4….   currently, these chicken items are handled in different individual item ids.       These items are similar only with the Brand difference.       So now the management have a need to see the inventory(Qty on hand) of “Chicken” together at once. we previously did this by manually adding different chicken qty together.       I know Acumatica having item class/item sub class,  item/sub item, matrix item, a lot of ways to define a group. But in my case, which is the best way. Can anyone give me some advice?

Hi, I have extended Default/18.200.001 endpoint to include Construction SubContracts like this http://localhost/test/entity/Subcontracts/18.200.001/Subcontracts I can filter by a field from the summary like thishttps://localhost/entity/Subcontracts/18.200.001/Subcontracts?$filter=SubcontractNbr eq 'SC-000002' However, can I filter on a field in a details table?Example, Is it possible to filter by the Project field in Document Details tab in SubContracts end point?

Customization beginner here. How do I rename a data field on a screen? Looks like some changes were made from previous versions where this was done. In the example below, I simply want to rename this filed from the screen editor. 

I would like to support barcode/cross-reference in the Inventory ID field on the Transfers screen.The POReceiptLine.inventoryID is decorated with [POReceiptLineInventory] which will do a lookup in the Cross-Reference table.The INTran table.inventoryID field is decorated with [StockItem] which doesn’t do a cross-reference lookup.Creating a field and giving it [CrossItem] will do a cross-reference lookup.I know that CrossItem and StockItem cannot be added at the same time. Is there an existing attribute that would allow me to replace the StockItem attribute on a field in a customization that would add cross-reference lookups like CrossItem allows for?

I am pretty new to Acumatica and wondering if it offers AP invoice approval workflow.  A couple of systems I used before had the capability to store invoices and once workflow is kicked off, approval e-mail will be sent with invoice attachment to the first approver, then second approver, so on.  It just saved so much time for everyone and we were able to track the unapproved invoices whereabouts.  Does Acumatica have the solution available?  If not, does anyone know good applications that are compatible with Acumatica?

I’ve seen how I can add an inventory extension to dynamically create fields on the InventoryItem DAC for one or more attributes and that seems nice for Generic Inquiries.In my case I want to add an inventory item attribute to the SO Order Entry Document Details tab as a read-only field.I’m not sure of the best way to make that field in the SOLine DAC. 

HI, I am trying to do 2 things in a Generic Inquiry for sold Kitted items - getting the quantity of the components.I am trying to have a calculation of sold components be exportable to excel as a numberic field from a GI. The formula is: =([ARTran.Qty] * [INKitSpecStkDet.DfltCompQty])It comes through as a text field, left justified. We would like the result to be a numberic field, Right justified.We would also like to have this display with only 2 decimals 

Hi,I understand that Acumatica has the ability to input batch/lot no. and expiry for products in the backend. However, i would to know how would it be possible to display it on my invoices for the various items when i print the invoices for delivery.We are in the medical consumables wholesale business, and each product or SKU has different batch/lot no. with different expiry dates.Looking forward to your good advise. I’m running into some issues when it comes to the Acumatica Shipping Tool and importing the info automatically into UPS WorldShip. The issues primarily happens when it comes to foreign shipments, albeit I’ve only tested this with shipments going to Canada. Here are a few scenarios:Domestic ShipmentCompletes as expected with package info added.Foreign (postal code format ABC DEF)Postal Code → City Town → State/Province/County | Repeats 4-5 times Telephone → Email | Repeats 4-5 times Popup: “One or more required fields can not be filled: [Postal Code]. Check the availability of fields and shipment data and try again. No package data such as weight, invoice number, number of packages, etc. is enteredForeign (postal code format ABCDEF)Telephone → Email | Repeats 4-5 times Completes with package info added. After some trial and error, I was able to find that the postal code format was causing the process to error out and not finish. Hello!I wanted to outline an issue we’re having with Availability calculations and how to account for high volume SOs that require future stock for fulfillment. Hopefully other companies have experienced this problem and may have some good ideas.Let’s say we have 1,000 units of SKU X on hand and available in our domestic warehouse. We also have 20,000 units of SKU X on PO at one of our vendors. We don’t currently include Qty on PO in our availability calculation because it can take 60+ days to ship POs and 30+ days of transit time.A big wholesale customer places an SO for 5,000 units of SKU X, with the plan to have this fulfilled sometime in the future after the 20,000 units arrive. Right now, this type of situation drops our Qty Available down to -4,000 and it’s confusing to other sales reps whether there is any inventory to sell. Indeed, there is actually 1,000 units still available to sell.Ideas we’ve thought of:Linking this SO line to the pre-existing PO line. This resolves the Qty
