Hello--I am very new to Acumatica, and am looking for advise on the best way to export records to an external system. Lets use the example of Customer data. I would like to export an XML containing every customer field of every record, and do this every time a record is added or updated to the Customer screen.Export scenarios - This works, and exports the data I would like, however I cannot figure out how to trigger this upon record update/creation, only on a schedule. Further, I cannot figure out how to export this file without manually downloading it and moving it to my external system. Sending this data via HTTP POST request would be better, for instance. Business Events - This can be triggered via record update/creation, but I cannot add an export scenario as a subscriber, only an import scenario.  Like i said, I am very new here, so any direction at all would be greatly appreciated. 

I am looking to add quotes, orders, and sales from the previous workday on to a dashboard. We work Monday to Friday. I have used the “date” equals “@today-1” which works for Tuesday-Friday. However, when using it on Monday I do not get any results because it is looking at Sunday instead of Friday. Is there a way to add a condition to the filter so that it only looks at weekdays or an If statement so the previous Friday result if it is Monday?

Does anyone know how or have documentation on how to use the <Action: New Vendor> on import scenario for Bill and Adjustment screen 

I am building a GI that needs to be able to pull a user defined field date and perform calculations on it such as dateadd or datediff. When I try to do this I get a virtual field error message coming up on my gi. If this date field was stored in an attribute I know how to get the date value from the CS answers table but it seems that user defined Fields do not store the values in the CS answers table - where are these stored in how can I perform calculations against them?

I have an AP Approval map configured, and using an import scenario to bring the AP transactions into Acumatica. Is there a way to have the imported transaction be imported with a status of Balanced and not go through the approval process?  The transactions are approved manually prior to the import. Thanks,Coleen

Hello Acumatica Friends :)  I have a question regarding the Update Inventory in Shipement. We want to do it with code for specific shipments (say a condition on the Customer ID)  Is this possible ? I know we tried this function (soShipmentGraph.UpdateIN.PressButton ()) It changes the shipement status but the inventory is not updated. We don’t have the 2 step-transfer (IN3040PL). In desperate need for help; plzzzz Thank you.

I have created a customized Sales Order Report which works as expected in the dev instance and sandbox, but running the report in the UAT environment gives duplicate lines. I have attached the report as well for further clarity.

I have a weird behavior, I try to simulate the click on the button "Update the stock" of the expedition by code I am using this function: soShipmentGraph.UpdateIN.PressButton ();It appears that everything is working correctly, the shipment goes to "integrated" status or there is no transfer created.Unlike if I manually click on the button, I have the transfer. 

It would be helpful to set up Projects if the “Default Values” would update from the Project if they are left blank on the Common Task.Often, a client wants to set up  Common Tasks to allow for ease of setting up Projects, however, the Default Values need to update from the Settings tab on the Project just as they do when creating a new Task.

We powdercoat most of our sales orders and have an attribute called COLOUR on the UDF that allows me to build a GI for our days work.  I'd like to be able to have subtotals in the middle of my GI so that, for example, on a day when we coat more than one colour we can see how many of each colour we have to do, as well as a grand total for the day. I have it working for the grand total using the aggregate function but not sure how to approach this question about the sub totals. @Naveen B or @Tim Rodman this might be one for the pros? :) Warning... I have a GI that shows my sales order list that I would like to be able sort by more than one field. When I put more than one attribute into the sort settings of the GI it seems to only work on the top one - is there a way to sort by the top one, then within the top one, sort by the second one? For further explanation, we powdercoat our orders and we have two user defined Fields in the sales order - colour, and priority. It would be nice to sort first by priority, then by colour

How do you enable this feature if it is not listed in the Enable/Disable Features for an instance in trial mode? 

HiDoes anyone know how to streamline the order to invoice process, for multiple orders at a time? Basically I want to be able to do the Quick Process action (create shipments, print pick tickets, create invoice, print invoices, post to IN and GL)for many orders at once. 

Hi!  My company is in the service / construction industry and looking to get away from using Excel as an estimating tool. Most of the work is bundled or bid pricing, so need to use cost plus approach to come to quote price and would like to feed those quote prices plus cost build-up into Acumatica sales and projects.  Looking for some cloud software solutions, anyone using anything the love (or hate so we need to stay away from that)?  Thanks!!!

We run Acumatica 2020R2 and currently working on SQL Servers upgrade from 2012 to 2019. We have created new SQL Server 2019 and need to switch Acumatica production to it.I have successfully connected to new SQL Server (SQL2) from my local instance, now test it on DEV. Acumatica Configuration Manager have successfully updated database, but when trying to open website I receive error:Configuration ErrorDescription: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Hi, When we have selected the currency in Customer creation form. Then we try to enter customer in sales order form it is not selecting. When we removed the currency in customer creation form it is working as expected. Attached the screen shots documents.  RegardsNethupul

When an approval map condition is set to "AP Transactions > PO Number > Is Not Empty", the approval map engine is unable to assign the approval. Have I done something wrong in the approval map? This started after we upgraded to revision "20.217.0022". Sorry to the misleading Subject text.  I meant to first ask if anyone knows if there is a way to prevent Gmail emails from being marked/flagged as ‘read’ after it is synced with Acumatica.Ideally, it would be great to have a configuration setting that enables to you turn this off so that the original email in Gmail (or Office 365) still appears as “unread”. 

 Hi, We have created a sales order with 20qty and in 1st shipment we shipped 8 out of 20. Once Sales order status was changed as “Confirmed”. Then i need to ship rest of the 12 qty. Then i reopen the sales order and try it. Create Shipment function is not working and showing following error.  Mention the Clear steps need to be followed for Sales order shipping.

Hi, I am in the process of implementing email in Acumatica and have been having difficulty in figuring out how to have the users email address populate automatically in the email that is being sent.  My current setup is that each user has there own email configured as a system email. Currently, when sending an email from any screen the email field remains blank and the user needs to select the email that they wish to send from. I do not wish to have system emails that are department based...I would like each user to send and receive from their own email address. Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks.
