I want to get count of all visible records on grid. If I will filter it for ex. by Vendor record count will change and I want that count not from BQL select;

We are using the REST API to create a Sales Order in Acumatica. For some customers we receive the below error message. Not sure why the API is complaining about “inter branch” as we target a single tenant and try to create a sales order for an existing customer under that tenant. (Not sure if branch means something else than “tenant” in this context) I read the other post on the forum and tried to find the feature for enabling inter branch but that feature was not listed. Dear ALL,Please help me to know which DAC takes the data of the accounts for all periods of the year (Period 1 to Period 12).This DAC will have Fin.BeginingBalance, Fin.PTD Debit, , Fin.PTD Credit, Fin.YtdBalance,.. almost like DAC GLHistory. But the DAC GLHistory is missing periods where there are no transactions.Many thanks !NNT  

Just found that my Default Contact ID are one less than the correct Contact ID. I can work around it in formula, but makes me nervous being out of sync. System working correctly, so is that just the way it is on Vendors which I’m working on now?

My need: I have setup a scenario to test posting of transactions.  Once they are posted, it cannot be undone.  So, in order to test multiple times, I have been using a snapshot.  However, restoring a snapshot is pretty tedious and time consuming.  I have SQL installed locally.  Doing a backup via SQL takes mere seconds.  Restoring a db via SQL takes seconds.In the past, I tried restoring a sql db and it corrupted my instance of Acumatica so badly, I had to delete everything and install from scratch.  I think it might have been because I was logged into the instance when I did the restore, but I don’t know what happened.Before I kill my environment, I want to know if any of you use SQL backup/restore to perform repetitive testing.  This is what I think *should* work.Prepare my transactions for posting log out do a FULL sql backup login  post and look at the results. logout restore the db start over at step 4.Any thoughts on this?

Hello folks. I’m trying to open a report template to make a couple of minor cosmetic changes. I’ve done it several times before without any problems.But when I tried to do it today, the “Open report from server” dialog box wouldn’t accept my login credentials.I have two accounts in the system, both have Administrator and Report Designer permissions. One is an AD-connected account (the one I use all the time for everything) and the other is a native account (that I rarely ever use).Although Acumatica itself doesn’t prompt me for credentials when I use the Active Directory log-in option, the Report Designer app does. As expected, the Report Designer’s “Open report from server” dialog box pre-populated the Login field with my user name and left the password field empty, expecting me to enter the password. But when I enter my password (the one associated with my AD account), the dialog box returns the error: “Error during login : Invalid credentials”.Any idea why the “Open report from serv

Hi MFG community. I just ran into issue with 2022 R1 build 22.102.0054. My client has configurator. When you create  a production order and add the preconfigured key to the reference page, the order saves correctly.If on the other hand, your create the production order, click save, then add the preconfigured key to the references tab, Acumatica copies in the default Bill of materials associated with the configured item. It does not copy the preconfigured key build.Is anyone else seeing this behavior? Chuck

Hi everyone,Hoping someone can help us.We posted a customer payment to 20 June 2022 in 09-2022 period but should have been 20 July 2022 and 10-2022 period. We have re-done the payment to 20 July 2022 in period 10-2022 however, when we voided the initial incorrect payment (posted in period 09-2022), we accidentally used the wrong period (10-2022). Now the bank reconciliation is out by the same amount.There doesn’t seem to be an option to reverse a void payment unfortunately. Much appreciated,Daniel

I have setup Row Level Security to GL Account Access and allocated the restriction group to a userThe User should not be able to transact or view the account included in the restriction groupThe result is that the account in the  restriction group is not visible to the user when he view GI/Pivotand the user cannot select the account when capture transactions.I am therefore happy with the resultThe problem however is that the user are able to view the account in the batch file on theJournal Transactions screen GL301000I can restrict the user to not be able to view the detail of the Journal Transaction batch with Access Rights to a role.To implement the Access Rights  by Role is not the ideal solution.Please confirm if I understand the functionality of the Row Level Security to GL Account Access correctly.Should the restriction to the account also apply to the account in that the user will not be able to view transactions captured against the account.

I have added the Order and Shipment Number fields to the Details grid in a customization but would like them to navigate to their respective screens when clicked.  This seems like a really simple thing but I haven’t been able to work out how or where this is defined. This is already present in SO303000 and I’ve been comparing to see what the difference is but am not sure where I should be looking. Can anyone give me some pointers as to how to go about this? Thanks, Phil

I would like to add a dashboard widget that aggregates data from a multiselect attribute. When I configure, the widget is displaying separate data sets for each instance of the varying multiselect values.Scenario: business account 1 has an attribute that currently has value 1 and value 2 selected. Business account 2 has an attribute that has value 2 and value 3 selected.I would like the widget to show 1 for value 1, 2 for value 2 and 1 for value 3. It currently is displaying 1 for ‘value 1 and value 2’ and 1 for ‘value 2 and value 3.’ Is there a certain way the widget needs to be configured to get this to display correctly or is this kind of data crunching not possible for multi select attributes? I have a scenario where we created 2 separate approval workgroups (reviewer and approver) for AP Invoices and Memos. Once I created this and tested the workflow, I noticed that the document gets automatically approved if the user belongs to reviewer and approver.Ideally, the process should be, after reviewer approve it flows to approver. I am not sure if my configurations are wrong.Anyone having similar issue?

Hi All,Need help to figure out why the Automation Schedule are not working, we are not in lock out mode but still we are getting error as “Automation Schedule scenario has not been performed due to the database lockout”. Please help us.I think this is happening from yesterday after we published new customization package. Below are the steps we followed when doing package publish first put in lockout mode, then took snapshot then deleted the snapshot, then removed the lockout modethen again, when i was about to publish the package, i put in lockout mode again and published the package then removed from lockout mode

I am trying to figure out how to have multiple purchase receipts againt a single PO. For example, if a vendor shipped the PO in staggered shipments, and we want to have multiple receipts against that PO.Can someone post on how this is done? I see that the Purchase Receipt gets linked back to the PO in the “PO History” tab. But I can’t see how to add an additional Purchase Receipt once a single receipt has been entered...

We want to change the default order of some columns on the Selector for Ref Number on the Payments tab of the Sales Order.  I finally tracked down which field this is on but no matter what I do it fails to take any effect.The field and the changes I’m making are below.  AlI did was edit the columns to move the date to the top but it doesn’t affect anything. Is there somewhere else I need to edit this? Thanks for any advice, Phil  

We encounter error on Check and Payments Prepayments when we click the ref. nbr the error ‘MoveNext’ Occur. Do you have any idea how to fixed this error? 

I have customers that are process manufacturers that make materials that cannot be disassembled.  The materials are produced and reported through a Move transaction.  The Move transaction is designed to allow for you to scrap completed items on the Production Order but not to Reject and Rework completed items.Has anyone else developed a customization or process that they have found to work well for Rejecting a finished good, segregating the materials in a Material Review location, and then either scrapping, reworking, or returning to regular stock?

I have been attempting for months to begin the Report Deigner training (S150, 2022R1).  When I finally downloaded the correct version of Acumatica to a stand-alone PC, I went to the S150 Report Designer 2022 R1 page and downloaded the S150 Files for Training.  The Guide provides the Company Story of the Sweetlife Fruits & Jams company.  The downloaded data popped up in SQL Server with a database name of PhoneRepairShop and the data is for a software company, “Software Inc.” with various branches and stores.I’ve gone through the downloads a few times including deleting / uninstalling just to ensure I am addressing the correct version.Anyone know where I can find the Sweetlife data?Likely addressed before, but the Search function, above, doesn’t work for me regardless of browser.

I am prototyping the use of subaccounts for the chart of accounts/general ledger. As I am starting to play with this, I am getting flashbacks of previous experiences attempting to use Inventory subitems with Acumatica, which I considered to be a mess. It seemed like the general consensus when I brought up inventory subitems a couple years ago was that inventory subitems were anachronistic and had been useful when the software was at a less mature stage, but now were not considered best practice and shouldn’t be used for a system setup from scratch (they were still there to enable legacy upgrades, etc).Does anyone have any similar experiences with general ledger subaccounts? I recognize the old “subitem 0”, which was the same as for the inventory subitems. With inventory subitems, if you didn’t want to use a subitem, you couldn’t just have item number 43434. It had to be 43434, subitem 0. Which makes for a lot of extra fields and database entries in the system for no perceivable benefit

Hi everyone,  Can you customize columns and filters on the bills and adjustments page? Or on any pages in the account payables module? In some other ERPs you can but I have not been able to figure it out for Acumatica.  Thanks!
