Version: 2021R1Hello, as many of us experience, the commerce connector will only allow 1 customer class on import.  This functionality is limiting.  So I wanted to use other fields in the customer record to update the customer class (dynamically). So the intention would be: commerce connector imports customer from Shopify with Customer Class “K2TEST”. I build a GI that looks for all records with customer class “K2TEST” I create a data provider based on the Generic Inquiry noted above. I create an import scenario that uses the data provider noted above and has logic to look at an ATTRIBUTE on the customer record and map a new customer class “K2NEWCLASS” accordingly. I then schedule the import scenario to run from a Business Event or Schedule...making it AUTOMATED.This scenario works with EXCEL as the data provider, but obviously that takes manual intervention to process.  But switching to the GI gives me the following error:  1 items have not been processed successfully. Is there a setting or access right that can be set to allow users other than Admin to ignore the Excel export limit of 1000 records?

We are a company with multiple branch locations, some in different states. Most of the branches all perform the same selling functions, and we do not separately report financials for each branch (although we do some rollup reporting on each branches financial performance).There is a question on whether we should be using branches at all. For example, we could structure the software so that there is a single company with multiple warehouses (i.e. Seatle, Portland, etc), but no distinction between branches in the software.This would allow us to do single-step transfers between warehouses, for example. However, there is a question in my mind of whether this will hamper us in the future in terms of shipping material between branches (will the software be able to understand that the branch warehouses are geographically distinct if they are not attached to separate branches)?Does anyone have experience with doing this one way versus ther other? Our new client reports to ACA. 2 medical plans are currently offered to the employees.  1 for the employee plan at $50 MINIMUM EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION per month and 1 for the employee family plan at $150 MINIMUM EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION per month.  Do I need to set this up as 2 separate deductions that are flagged as ACA related, setting the ACA tab with the Minimum Employee Contribution of $50 for 1 code and $150 for the second code?  Then just assign the appropriate deduction code at the employee level, set the actual deduction amount for the payroll processing, and the ACA reporting screen will display the minimums $50 or $150 appropriately? Thank you  

Our client sells a serialised item that has an expiry date.  The item becomes an service equipment.  We need to see the expiry date on the equipment record.  It seems that all that is available is a warranty expiry but this wont work as the expiry date is set by the manufacture whereas a warranty runs from the date of the customer purchase.Thanks James

Hi,If a user has selected a incorrect account (which is not available in the relevant account group) in a data entry form for a specific project(Bill ,GL Transaction, Invoice), in the cost codes selection window there will no cost codes available in the project codes filter. In this case, users move to the all records and select the cost code which create an additional cost budget line with a default cost code. When creating this kind of transaction system shows a warning but allowed to process further.How can we stop processing this kind of transactions. Thank you,Dulanjana 

I have a Dynamics SL client that is looking at Acumatica. They are a project based client and utilizes a 9/80 work week schedule for their project employees. I can’t find any documentation for this on the Acumatica website. Does anyone know if this is native functionality or an ISV solution I can review?Thanks, Jim Gross

I want to allow a user to post Inventory Issues or Inventory Receipts up to $5,000.If the total entry is over $5,000, I want the user to be able to save the entry but not release it. I want any entries over the set threshold to be routed somewhere else for approval/release.I don’t have any experience with approvals in Acumatica, so if this is doable, where do I start?

Has Acumatica had any experience with project management firms using the product (more specifically architect project managers for the retail shopping centers) I.e. Walmart, K-Mart etc. Important that Payroll (timecards) is linked to the project management system. So that automation can be built in and give them a true project position under/over at any given time (without having to account for payrolls in a third party system and have projects looking healthy until pays are factored in)High volume projects +350 per year & 100 running at any given time.

I am developing what I think should be a pretty straightforward Sales Order form. For the transaction lines, I would like to have a grid format where there is a border around each cell. This works fine if I put a border around each cell in the detailSection1 part of the form (I have adapted this from SO641010.rpx… the out of the box Sales Order printed form for Acumatica). When I preview this in Report Designer, I get my grid with borders and everything is good. However, if I output to PDF, then only some of my vertical borders appear, and no horizontal borders around each cell.Preview in Report Designer (or in Acumatica with PDF Preview disabled)... Output in PDF Format… grid lines are basically gone I have seen some previous hand wringing about this in other posts. I don’t need this to work perfect (it obviously doesn’t), but I just need A way to do this. If it involves a specific configuration for each individual cell, so be it. We have created two attributes on projects to use for selecting and filtering reports. I have created a Unit Set for use with these reports and have tried to link to a data source that will pull from the project attribute list in the multi select set of values for the attribute.   I can find no way to link the values in the list associated with the attribute to the report.  Are there Acumatica resources that can be contracted with to create custom reports?

Hi, I first want to create a GI to show the top selling stock items at the top of the inquiry to the lowest selling items at the bottom of the screen. What would be the condition for this GI? I have a commitment created in Procore, synced to Acumatica, and released. Let’s say it’s for $10,000 with 10% retainage or $1,000.We need to issue a change order and reduce the commitment value to $500. I’m getting an error when trying to release the change order:“The change order cannot be released because the line total of the Subcontract will go negative.”I believe the issue is that the retainage is excluded from the line total. So I cannot create a change order that will reduce the amount to less than $1000, which is the same value as the retainage on the original subcontract. Any ideas on how I can proceed?Thanks, Colm

Hi,My application releases payment via this eventIs there opportunity to return Checks and Payments item status from “Closed” to “Balanced” ? 

My Client has customers that are setup with Prepay Terms. Some of the Customers sometimes are with Status: Credit Hold. While the customer is set as Credit Hold and Terms are Prepay, users create a Sales Orders. The order changes to Status On Hold until a Prepayment is entered, then they enter a prepayment/payment and SO Status changes to Open. So far, great… Customer is still on a Credit Status so the user goes and changes it to Active. All of the sudden I get a report that I have an issue in InItemPlan where the Hold field is True (t), while all other tables the status is False (f).There is a known issue and says it was fixed in Build 2021 R1 21.102.0070:  My client has 2021 R1- Build 21.106.0024 and I do have the GI that is provided on the the link above. I even created a Widget and Business Event to alert and send out an email when this happens.So far what I gathered after all the testing that was done, we think it has to do with SO Cache not refreshing or reading when customer sta
