Do approval maps engage when an existing document is changed, or only on creation of a new document.We want to know when a change occurs that changes the total on a project.This seems like this would trigger an approval anytime someone hits save on any project with a value.Does it trigger if a change is made to an existing project?  

We’re using the SAAS version of Acumatica and are still within our first year of using the application. Recently one of our users deleted an account by accident. I’d like to ask if there are best practices for disabling account deletion in general while still allowing accounts to be deleted when necessary. I assume we could use roles to determine who can delete accounts, yet it was a senior person that accidentally deleted the account, and the situation was confusing so the prompt to confirm the deletion didn't prevent it from happening. I'm wondering if a better practice might involve an approval process where any deletion requires approval by another user. Is that kind of workflow possible in Acumatica? Another idea would be to only allow account deletion in a 'super admin' account so that anyone needing to delete an account would need to log out and then log into the super admin account, and only certain users would have the super admin credentials. How is this kind of thing handled

Is there a way to run the fixed asset balance projection reports to show the detail by asset? The standard report only shows summary data for all assets and I have a client that needs to see projections by asset for their tax books.

Good day,Is it possible to use a UDF/attribute on the stock item in an import scenario to add lines to a Sales Invoice using import scenarios?We’re entering some sale agreements with a third-party retailer, who will sell our products in their stores and then send us a sales report of the items sold. Unfortunately, they are unable to use our Inventory IDs in their sales reports, so we would need to find a way to generate sales invoices whereby we can use the third party’s item identifier to look up which stock item should be used to import the invoice.This would likely be similar to the idea of using e.g. @@InventoryID, etc. on the usual imports, but in this case, we would need to select which stock item to use by looking at the attribute value.Any assistance is highly appreciated.

Hi All,I got 1 item that has no customer price class, no customer price, and only 1 base price - 1 carton = 3 usd.item convert - 1 carton = 3 canswhen I create SO and pick 1 can - it will automatically key unit price = 1usd even though I haven't imported that price.So it means when I update the sale price for 1 unit, and that item has more than 1 convert, the system will auto calculate the sale price I import to other converts.Thanks for your advise,Yên Chi

Hello, On Hand, Available, Available for Shipping, and Allocated quantities are visible at the bottom of an inventory transaction screen.  The Allocated quantities seem to always show 0.00, even if items are listed on the “Inventory Allocated Details” inquiry.  Does anyone know what field the Allocated quantities is pulling at the bottom of the screen? We need to add it to another screen and also understand why it is 0.00.  Thanks so much!  

Hi Everyone, I am trying to figure out where I could set the revoked access to user access rights by role for current cost in the stock item screen. I revoked this in the inventory item and item/warehouse setting but it seems reflected again on the screen. We have a customer site that has an extended 2 hour timeout on user sessions. However, after upgrade to 22R1 the mobile app is requiring users to log in every few minutes. Is there a separate setting from the site timeout limit that can be updated for the mobile app?

We are about to upgrade from 2020 R2 Build 20.208.0031 to 2022 R1 Build 22.109.0023. We have noticed that our GIs that are actually on production are not in sync with those that are in our custom code package. This is the result of direct edits on the production site without then bringing those changes into the code package. Our question is whether this will be an issue. More specifically, as we proceed with the upgrade, will the GIs in the code package update/touch/revert the GIs that were previously in the db/site ? Or will it leave them alone and not revert them to the versions that are in the code package? For normal package publishing and unpublishing, this has not been an issue. But since we are doing the upgrade, we want to anticipate and address any issues that may arise.Many thanks in advance.

I have followed Acumatica instructions to configure the eSign(https://github.com/Acumatica/Acumatica-eSign) but I’m getting the message below: Unable to authorize access because the client configuration is invalid: invalid_request  Maybe the issue is related to the Redirect URI ?  Hi all,I tested creating a new user from the website and it failed to sync into Acumatica until that user was added to a B2B company.Any changes made on the B2B side of the company are now over-written by the Acumatica values (tested on addresses and price lists). I see the sync on this is bidirectional, can I use other option on this?Another thing, I have B2C and I was able to use the "Trade Application Application" to signup a new account that created a customer in BigCommerce and a Company in BundleB2B that was able to sync without issues after I approved the company. If we have all new customers sign up for accounts this way instead of the native BigCommerce account sign up this may be the way to do it? There are some limitations on B2C business. any advise? Hi,Attempting to mass update the following fields as part of a initial implementation, but receiving the below error that the Warehouse Locations cannot be found, yet they are present in the Warehouse list.  I am new to Acumatica and learning as I am going, but wondering if there is something obvious that I am missing to cause the error.     IMPORT SCENARIO: ERROR: Field: Default Issue From, Value: SS-07-R4-S4-B1 , Error: 'Default Issue From' cannot be found in the system. Hi all...perhaps someone can share some ideas on following TAX (VAT) issues.To be able to create a meaningful tax report i have created 3 different tax zones and tax categoriesTax zone 01 / category 01 = local purchase and sales on 15% VAT. All stock items are set to this category, all good in this scenario.Tax zone 02 / category 02 = all foreign customers (exports) set to tax zone 02 / category 02, this category is set to 0% VATTax zone 03 / category 03 = all foreign vendors (imports)  set to tax zone 03 / category 03, this category is set to 0% VATThe VAT for imports is paid by the customs clearing agency and invoiced as 'Custom VAT" together with other charges to us. In our tax report we need to show the total value of imports and total value of exports for the tax period.In my opinion the tax setting of the foreign customer and vendor should have priority over the tax setting of the stock item.Currently you have to go to each line item and manually change the category to 02 or 03 t

My team is trying to create a report for budget to actuals by salesperson. We have created an attribute associated with the employee class called Sales Budget and entered in the amounts for each of our salespeople. Each of our salespeople are Owners of their respective Opportunities. We are attempting to join the EPEmployee/CREmployee table with the CROpportunity table in order to create a GI that shows Salesperson, Budget and then sums their actual sales for the period.  Has anyone been able to join the employee object with the opportunity object through the Owner field (or otherwise)? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I’ve tinkered with the groupings and aggregates for a bit and haven’t come up with a way to do this and wanted to check here first before going the SQL view route. I have an inquiry that is showing shipment line detail per order. I only want to see the data for the sales order’s FIRST shipment though. How can I accomplish this without grouping by order nbr and doing a min on the shipment nbr? I still want to see the line detail and the grouping then takes this option away.Thanks!

Hello.We have a use case where we would like to send an automated email for example when a customer has not placed a new order for 90 days. We couldn't find a field in Acumatica with the customer's last order date, so a GI doesn't seem to work. Is there a solution to this without programming it?

Hello,We have multiple warehouses.  All sell/MFG the same products.  We’d prefer not to have a BOM for each warehouse since they are all the same.  However, when I regen MRP after entering a sales order, I get different results if the warehouse on the sales order differs from warehouse on the BOM.Example:Finished product with 4 different materials.Enter a sales order for the finished product using the warehouse on the BOM. Regen MRP MRP Display suggests a production order for the finished product AND purchase suggestions for the materials  (this is the desired behavior)Enter a sales order for the finished product using a warehouse NOT ON THE BOM. Regen MRP MRP Display ONLY suggests a production order for the finished product.  It does NOT suggest anything for the needed materials.I have tried using substitution work centers and see no difference in behavior. Again, I am just trying to avoid having 7 different BOMs for the same finished part just because it is being made in a different
