Our organization is new to Acumatica and have run into a snag configuring AP Bill Approval Maps.  The purpose of our Map is to route Project AP Bills to our Project Managers for approval prior to posting to a project and open AP Aging.  Unfortunately, i am unable to find a way to restrict permissions to view only those AP Bills and Adjustment associated with their particular project.  I’ve heard there is something called user level access permissions but know nothing about this or how to configure it.  Is this the only solution or has anyone else be able to use traditional Approval Map functionality to accomplish this task, thank you,

Our construction company is new to Acumatica.  When we look at our subcontract log, we would like to have a column for project so we can filter by projects.  We are trying to add the Project ID number to this generic inquiry however when we do we get no results. The Screen ID is SC3010PL. Any ideas you have would be much appreciated!Kay HoweCFOkhowe@stockmeister.com740-418-5250 

Is there anywhere in the Help file or otherwise that provides a list of all the special roles in Acumatica? We’ve run across this issue when we create a new role for a specific job. We assign the user the correct access rights for the screen but some UI elements are tied to a special role so they still don’t show.In our case it was being able to open / close Financial Periods-that function is tied to the Financial Supervisor roleHere is a list of special roles that I’ve come up with so far. Our production team users scanners to move production on the shop floor.Scan Move is the only feature enabled on the scanners at this time. This feature doesn’t show the user the quantity ordered or quantity remaining. Is there a way to include this information on the scanner when the user is moving a production order? My goal is to eliminate reporting the wrong quantity, but still allow over issue because this does happen.Does anyone have any suggestions to help me with this?

Hello - On a sales order you can tick a sales order line as ‘Mark for Production’, then use the ‘Create Production Orders’ action to create production orders.What is the best way, in code, to get from SOLine to the production details, such as ‘Production Nbr’?The production info isn’t available from the main SOLine object so I’m thinking that I need to access a graph extension. I tried this:var rowExt = PXCache<SOLine>.GetExtension<SOOrderEntryAMExtension>(soLine);but this cannot be compiled due to a type conversion issue. I’m not sure that SOOrderEntryAMExtension is actually a graph at all. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the ‘Production Nbr’ from an SOLine object?

I have a function in a report that is not working as expected.  It should only show an inventory code if the type is “Finished Good”:=IIf(([InventoryItem.ItemType]='Finished Good'),[InventoryItem.InventoryID],'') This is only returning blanks for all Item types, but if I show the value in the ItemType field, it is displaying “Finished Good”. I’m wondering if the underlying data in this field is actually something other than what displays on the screen, like maybe FG or something.  But I have no access to the DB to find out.

Is there a field for freight on the BOM.  I don't see one. 

if we enter bom and put on hold does it affect inventory

How can I set the configuration whereby the number will increment only if the attribute values are the same. e.g. ABC001, ABC002, ABC003… If the attribute values are different, it will be ABC001, ACA001, ABB001….. Refer below for my current settings, 

Hello, I am creating GI for Pro Forma invoices, the main goal of the GI is to mass send out Pro Forma Invoices to customers. I am having trouble connecting the Activities information for the Pro Forma invoices (PM307000), see attached picture for reference.  I would like the GI’ to populate in a column if the Pro Forma has been emailed before or not. Below is a screenshot of the current results grid (last line):  When I run the GI, I receive the below error:  any suggestions on how to resolve this error? Thank you,KT

Hello,      We are having “pop up note” for customer, vendor, item entity. If the user are dealing with customer, vendor, item with the pop up setting, the user will get a pop up notification.     I am just wondering, is there a way to announce to all users with the pop up window?Or at least, is there some way I can use to send a msg to  users and make sure they can see when they log in the system?

Greetings,One of our customer’s tenants has Branch field available in Projects and Project Templates screens. The second tenant does not.  Enable/Disable screens match in the Projects area and most other areas. Project Preferences isn’t an  exact match but also has no setting that I could identify as project+branch-related. We’d like Branch to appear on projects in all tenants.  What am I missing?  Thank you!Laura

Hello,  I have an Opportunities report set up to send daily - the report is to show when opportunities have been created with no Owner ID. Does anyone know how I can set up the report to send only when there is data on this report? We only want one report per day, not each time an Opportunity is set up with no owner ID. Thank you!

Hello,What about VAT when a customer balance is written-off :The reason code allows to post the whole bad debt to an expense account. However, VAT cannot be booked with a reason code though the customer money will never be cashed in.How do you deal with these situations? What about having a tax category attached to a balance write off?Thx

Good day I want to know how best can I add a flag or watermark that indicates that a specific report is a re-print for instance a sales invoice or a Payment to a supplier report?

When searching for Customers in the Sales Order screen it would be helpful to add the displayName column next to AcctName. For a company the primary contact name is often more helpful to search for than the company name.  Is there a way to add the displayName or fullName as a column next to the acctName that exists already?Thanks for any advice, Phil

I have currently been using the historical inventory valuation for reporting month inventory values. This report needs to tie to the the balance in my inventory account. To accomplish this, I am having to the use a start period that is the beginning of time to the current period. The report size gets larger and larger every month due to an additional months data being added. Are there any reports that can be run that do not include each months transaction details? Ideally, I would only need 4 columns:Inventory ID, Description, Quantity on Hand & Value for any given historical period. Any input would be appreciated!

Hey everyone!  We just got started using Acumatica.  Love it so far, even with its many quirks.  My question is simple, and I would think the answer would be obvious but I cannot find it anywhere!  We have thousands of stock inventory items.  Most of them are in “Kits,” with many of them in many many kits.  I need to find a place I can enter an inventory item ID and be presented with a list of all kits that it belongs to.Many thanks and a bottle of bourbon to the person who can help me with this!

This is the Example ERROR: Export of the Stock Item record cannot be completed. The Stock Item with the same field or fields (<<item description>>) already exists.The first item has been exported to BigCommerce but others with the same description field didn’t. How can I export all items even if they have the same description field?
