Hi,  We have some customers that were charged sales tax by mistake, and we need to refund only the tax portion of an invoice. What is the best way to go about it? We want Avalara to recognize the tax refund so we don’t pay the sales tax on it. 

i wanted to confirm if there was any set up that was needed in acumatica to get aatrix set up once the subscription is set up? TIA

Hello to all, I have the pleasure of joining on with a company utilizing Acumatica*. We are very much in the beginning stages of setting up and creating part numbers with designated vendors and just like myself we are new to this process and system. My question here being, using Acumatica is there  a way to register each individual part number a purchasing group or MRP controller much like SAP to better maintain material requirements. 

My client needs to be able to issue a refund to their customers before the product is received back in.  We were trying to use an RC order type and on the general screen you can select a box to “allow refund before return”.  Has anyone been able to get this to work.  The prepare invoice selection is still grayed out and we can only get the credit memo issued once we complete the return.  They need to track when the product is returned and it is serialized product but they want to issue the credit before the product is returned.  If anyone has successfully setup this workflow can you let me know how you did it?Thanks,

I have created an Import Scenario as seen below.  The requirement is simply to correct a shipment.  In other words, the shipment is currently in a Confirmed status.  This Imp Scen needs to press the CORRECT SHIPMENT button.  When done manually, this places the shipment back into an Open status for updates.  In my Imp Scen, I am getting an error message that reads -“The Correct Shipment button is disabled.”Thoughts on what is wrong with my Scenario?Note the Data Provider is a single column with the Shipment number that needs to be corrected.

When entering a PO or vendor invoice, I would like to use the Alternate ID that is referenced below. I was under the assumption that this was possible, but when trying it out I receive ‘No Results’ when typing OW092 in the inventory ID. Any thoughts would be appreciated!  Jenny  

I need update on fly user-defined field if Project on Expense Receipt page was changed. Like it is happened for Customer and Location fileds automatically, select new project and this field should update. Can somebody help how I can implement it - what is the best way for it. I tried with Generic Inquiry and with event FieldUpdated for Project/Contract, but not yet successful.When I tried to get to the change of the user-defined field through the event - I do not see this field in the EPExpenseClaimDetails modelI want to take value for Project Executive field from project. I added custom field to project:

I am wondering how other folks might be handling the following scenario.  We have a production order of 100 with 50 completed. We have an order of 10 being requested as an “emergency” order. In the past, we would just do a partial to put this into inventory and ship it out. However, what happens is this absorbs all of the cost onto the 10 then adds the other items in @ 0 cost. However, this causes a lot of cost issues. I am sure we can't be the only manufacturer that does this type of thing. I would love to know how others handle this.

Hi all, having an issue with our Hard Goods Forecast not pulling a correct date range. This is a report which I always struggle with because there’s no apparent GI it’s tied to, and then have to poke around in Report Designer to see what’s up.Here’s the basic report:Simple enough. Set the date range to this month, run report:And it pulls all historical data.So I go poking in Report Designer and nothing looks amiss (but then again I don’t know what the heck I’m looking for): I’m thinking maybe it’s the Left joins here?I’m new to this so I’m not sure where else to look… thank you!

I have a prospective client that has a need for language and currency translation to Hungarian, for one of their sister companies.  Has this been done before?Appreciate the help in advance! 

I would like to know what level of customization we have for rounding profiles? For example for all SO related items I would like the pricing rounded to 2 decimal places. Customers, especially EDI transmitted, do not accept invoices with totals (or Cash discounts) that are beyond 2 decimal places. Conversely, on our purchasing module there we need costing to the 4-5 decimal places due to the piece prices.  AP Bills need to have unit costs to the 4-5 decimal but the Calculated Ext Cost only need to be rounded to 2 decimals.  Everything I have seen and/or read just have Price/Cost using the same rounding profile and no further customization beyond that. Any thoughts on what I am looking for?

My token is working and giving me the connection.  I have mapped the fields in the template with no issue but when I try to run the integration I get an error.  Smartsheet help says they are too busy to respond.  Any suggestions on what I should be looking for? 

Hey everyone. I’m working on the Change Order report, and I’ve taken the heading from our Invoice report and brought it over. All necessary tables are joined properly, but the text prints as empty when in the Change Order report despite containing text in the Invoice report. 

I am trying to convert an attribute on the customer record to a doublewhen it appears on a GI so that the data can be sorted with it. I have tried using the formula editor and using the convert formulas, but the don’t seem to work. I get an error saying “Error: The virtual field SALES2020_Attributes cannot be used in a condition expression.”, SALES2020_Attributes being the name of the text attribute. This is what the formula looks like in the formula editor: Any help would be appreciated!
