Does anyone know why journal transactions from the AR Module wouldn’t automatically post to the GL if it’s set up to do so?  We have noticed that 3,666 transactions from a one week period in December have not posted to the GL. I’m relatively new to the position and at a loss as to why this would have happened.  Any help is greatly appreciated!  

We created a new subaccount to have sales orders split out into a new bucket for additional analysis.  Everything is flowing correctly going forward, but I would like to go back and reclass existing transactions (sales and materials) to get to the proper subaccount for historical comparison.  I can get to the sales numbers by running the sales order report and filtering to what is needed.  The part I am struggling with is how do I get to the materials cost to complete my bulk reclass entry?  I am not finding a way the 2 are connected by a reference number or some way I can get the data into a spreadsheet to identify the entry needed.  I would love if anyone has an idea of how I can make this happen!

The following import scenario stops after successfully importing one record. I would appreciate any help troubleshooting. 

We are currently in version 2022 R2. Tax Category, Taxes Zone, and Taxes have all been set up.  We implemented in a Canadian branch, which is why we are adding a GST tax. However, the tax is not generating on POs and APs. I have found a post, but our situation is the opposite. @Laura02   helped me out a lot to check and she was unable to get tax to appear on a PO in 2022 R2, which is the same version we are using at the moment. Purchase orders getting issued with tax - despite vendor being Tax Exempt Could this be a version issue? The PO and Bills and Adjustments are not generating a tax? Is there anyone else experiencing the same problem.

Hi Everyone,I'm trying to override the currency rate on a payment via the REST API.I can do this no worries in the UI however I'm struggling to get the API to do it.I've attempted to extend the endpoint to add the CurrencyRate field however this isn't making a difference, the payment will still create however it will just use the regular exchange rate.Does anyone know how to get this working?

I am currently trying to make a PositivePay compliant output from a Generic Inquiry. I am attempting to remove all comma, dash, decimal, and non-numeric characters from all numeric fields. So I would like date to be 010924 as an example. I see that my question has been answered here:  However when I apply the below code to the Style field of APPayment.DocDate it has 0 effect on the output. Is an Acumatica site’s IP address static, or is it a dynamic one that can change over time? Our IT needs to know so they can set up a Microsoft 365 Connector, and they’re concerned a dynamic IP address could make it difficult to maintain.

Thanks to the other topics already posted here, I’ve been able to create a wiki for my custom page!  If I put my wiki on the dashboard, and click it, it opens to my default “Overview”.  When I click the help button on my custom screen, the wiki opens but it does not start out at Overview.  It defaults to the “root”.  If you click Overview in the tree menu, it opens the overview just fine.  It is just a little UI issue for me to not put the user at the “root” where there are no articles.Here are some screen snips showing what I mean.Here is the dashboard:Clicking this gives me the desired results: From my custom screen I click the help button and this is what shows up:Note that Overview is not selected by default.This is the setup for the Wiki which looks right as it does show overview by default when selected from the dashboard.I will eventually remove this one from the dashboard as I will want it used just on the custom help button.  It is on the dashboard now just so I can see it fun

I have a user uploading an Excel file into the journal transaction screen. If a subaccount in the file is inactive in Acumatica, it automatically changes to the subaccount of previous line. No warning or anything.  I tried recreating in my local test environment, and instead I get an error that subaccount is inactive. I don’t see any relevant differences in the settings. Anyone seen this or have an idea how to solve? Unfortunately upgrade was delayed so I can’t submit case with Acumatica. 

I’m trying to create a simple Year-to-date chart on a dashboard to compare 2 different series of data and am experiencing an issue when sorting on month number.I would like the data to display in correct month order (i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6…) and instead it seems to be sorting differently (i.e. 1,10,11,12,2,3,4,5...). I’ve tried multiple Sort By options on the chart settings and nothing seems to change. Is the sorting issue because I don’t have a full year’s worth of data in both series? Are my sort settings wrong? Am I representing the month number in the GI the correct way? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!GI DatafieldGI DataChart SettingsResults 

We start with 60x288 raw sheets of metal and cut them down to 60x248 (just as one example) in high volumes.  The 60x248 makes the primary part #, the 60x40 is a usable drop/remnant.  I would like to inventory these 60x40 “drops” (by-product) and give them value, because we’ll use them later for plasma cutting small parts.When creating the BOM for the primary part #, I am consuming the entire 60 x 288 material, and then adding the by-product (60x40) as a negative quantity.  This works great for inventory tracking purposes, because the by-product is added to inventory each time we do a Move on the primary part #.My concern is costing.  We use average costing, so do not revalue our inventory (as you would in a standard costing environment).  The value of steel fluctuates widely, and therefore the theoretical cost of that 60x40 drop should change relative to the cost of the 60x288 raw sheet.  However, in order to accomplish this, I have to manually do calculations for a 60x40 portion of a

I have a client who would like a customized GI for their Project List.They want to see all Projects listed once and if a Project has billing tied to it, they want to see the last ProForma Ref Nbr and the last AR Ref Nbr.In the example, on Project 9683, they would want to see AR Ref Nbr - 000004 and ProForma Ref Nbr - 000007. Is this doable?  If so, can it be done in a GI or does it need to be a report? 

First question, does Acumatica 2022 R1 run on Windows server 2022?Second question, has ANY version of Acumatica yet been certified to run on Windows server 2022?(the 2nd question is because from the matrix I have seen, not even 2023 R1 is certified on Windows server 2022.)Thank you,

We have a custom report that will display list of stock items with their age and the customer that is associated to those items. However, one stock item can have multiple customers linked and this is causing the items to not appear on the list.Is it possible to add multi select functionality on the report designer? Hello all,Just curious how we could find the generic inquiry behind any screen. For example, the 'Account Summary' Screen: ScreenId=GL401000.I ask, because the mission is to create a dashboard tile showing the ending balance for a certain GL Account where the record period = the current period.I’d like to understand where I can copy/edit/manipulate the data I see on the Account Summary screen.
