I am trying to do a “no code” customization for the Owner field in the CRM Case Entry form.  I was able to make it a mandatory field easy enough, but I would also like it to default to the current user entering in the new case.   Is there a no code way to do this?

Have you looked at using the assignment workflow for Cases?  There is the option to assign the ownership based on the employee from the document.

 


I haven’t messed with that functionality yet.  Was hoping it could be done in a simple step as it is created.
