We have a custom warehouse operations web application that integrates with Acumatica via the REST Contract-Based API. The app has its own user authentication system with individual named users (warehouse staff, receiving clerks, etc.). All API calls from our app currently go through a single shared service account, so every receipt, transfer, and AP bill created in Acumatica shows the same username in audit logs - we lose individual attribution entirely.We are aware of Option 1 - storing each user's Acumatica credentials in our system and logging in as them individually for each operation. This is the obvious solution but comes with real tradeoffs: every warehouse user needs an Acumatica license seat, credential storage and session management gets complex, and we'd need to manage separate Acumatica sessions per app user.Our question: Is there a supported or recommended approach in Acumatica to pass the identity of the originating user through API calls made by a service account, withou

Hey Guys,I need a little help, i have a back order report im pretty sure i found on here. ive made some changes, but i’d really like to show the expected dates for the items. Im having trouble relating tables todo so. Is it as simple as adding PO.POrder to the table then adding a relation? the relations confuse me.  

I am trying to adjust a field so that the input is masked like a password field. I have it in my classic UI customization, but I am unable to find any resources for implementing this in the modern UI.The field in question is a base field on an Acumatica page. The field is the “Header Value” field in the “Push Notifications” page SM302000. I have two questions:The first is what and where do I add modifications to adjust this field to be masked as a password? Do I adjust the DAC definition for the modern UI, do I adjust the view definition of this field in an extension .ts file, and/or do I create an html extension field that modifies it?The second question is what would that syntax look like? What specifically do I need to add to create the password masking?I did try to look for examples within the provided Acumatica code, but was unable to find any examples.

I am having issues with adding a custom screen to the mobile app. The screen is a form tab with grid in the detail section. I want to have a few fields from the header show up and then a couple of fields from the grid to show up. The layout that I want it to look like is the first screen shot. I have the “Sign” action added in but it doesnt work for some reason and the “Paper clip” for attachments isnt showing up. If I remove the “layout = “HeaderSimple” from my code, the attachment paper clip shows up and the action works, but the fields in the header no longer show up (second screen shot). Any ideas on what I did wrong? I have added a custom screen to the mobile app.This is NOT coming from a GI.  I have found using a GI for this is a complete nightmare.  Is it possible to add a filter to a screen that is not coming from a GI? I am facing an issue in Acumatica Modern UI on a specific screen.When I navigate using the Next button, the system moves to the next record, but the data is not displayed (screen appears empty or does not refresh properly). However, when I use the Previous button, the data loads correctly for the same record.This issue occurs only in Modern UI. In Classic UI, both Next and Previous buttons work as expected and the record data is displayed correctly. How can I resolve this issue?

I have a Generic Inquiry that was created from scratch. It is published to the UI & it is exposed over Odata.  It is a combination of 3 source tables.  PX.Objects.CT.Contract; PX.Objects.PM.PMForecast and PX.Objects.PM.PMForecast details.Within Acumatica itself this rendering as I want. The results grid shows each column with the desired custom captions.  This all appears to be working as desired.If I try to connect to this OData feed via Excel\PowerQuery via OData there are issues when I try to navigate to the actual result of the GI.Specifically the Custom Column that I created as a concatenation of two columns doesn’t appear to be in the dataset and there is at least one column not currently in the definition of the GI that IS showing up.  I *think* that this was the previous iteration of the GI as I was working on it.  My question is that after “saving” the GI with the desired updates, do I need to re-publish to the UI to have my changes visible on the OData feed?

Hi everyone,  We try to attached pdf report to an email notification.But every try system failed with Object reference not set to an instance of an object.=> I try many other report = same error=> I try the invoice report but in html format = It works=> When I retry to sent the email with business event history resume and rexecute, it works totally. We aren’t currently using the last version of Acumatica but have you face this king of error ?Thnak for your help.Regards.  

Hello, I currently have a GI set up to display an amount with a decimal that is two digits in so we can display it as 1111.00. Does anyone have any tricks for getting the value to add commas in after the hundredths place? Hello. When we create a new item in acumatica, we fill in the Default Warehouse, Default Issue From, and Default Receipt To fields within the Stock Items screen.However, on the first use of the item the system creates an entry in the Item Warehouse Details and populates it from the warehouse settings instead of the item settings, which is just a broad catchall location instead of the specific location on the item. This would be fine if the material was coming/going from the non-default warehouse, but it shouldn’t be the case when using the default warehouse.Once this entry has been made, the system seems to entirely ignore the defaults in the Stock Items screen. How can i get the system to initially populate using the Stock Item settings instead of the Warehouse settings?Stock Item:Initial population after putting initial items into location 913-A-1 in an adjustment (adjustment did not default to 913-A-1 either):

Both Projects are configured with inventory tracking = Track by Project quantity and cost.Scenario details: Projects ID Production Order Nbr Start Date BOM ID Purchase Order PROJ-VK-45 ORDER41326 5/11/26 BOM1 008815 JB-007 ORDER2 4/27/26 BOM1    Test steps:Created both production orders under two different projects.
