I ran into and solved this error that I did not see any posts about on the Community. I wanted to post the Issue and the solution for anyone who might run into this Acumatica Error Message: "There are no lines suitable for creating Child Orders."

Solution:
I saw that the Open Qty. on the lines was set to 0, and I saw that the Line was marked as Completed.
There are at least 2 reasons why this error comes up.
1: Because the line has been marked as Complete. Regardless of what Qty is on Child Orders, if this box is checked, then it will not allow you to create any more.
2: All of the quantity on the Blanket are already on Child Orders. They do not need to be shipped or anything, the quantity just needs to be on Open Child Orders in order for this error to come up.

The Create Child Orders action is only available for Blanket Sales Order lines that meet the following conditions:
If the Scheduled Order Date is in the future, Acumatica will display the message:
"There are no lines suitable for creating child orders."
In the reported scenario, the Blanket Sales Order line had a future Scheduled Order Date, which prevented the child order from being created.
After updating the Scheduled Order Date to the current business date (or an earlier date), the Create Child Orders action completed successfully and the child sales order was created without error.
The Scheduled Order Date on the Blanket Sales Order line was later than the current business date, making the line ineligible for child order creation.
