Hello we have a bit of a unique scenario. We primarily dropship all our orders. Due to inventory restraints at times one of our vendors allows us to purchase inventory ahead and store as “virtual” inventory till we need it. We then submit a PO to this vendor for shipping and they return a 0.00 AP Bill (since we already own the product) for the items + freight charges and any serial numbers that may apply to the product shipped.We would like to be able to monitor our inventory at the vendor for proper financial reporting, but would also like to be able to process the order as a drop ship PO instead of a shipment from one of our warehouses as we also drop ship other items from this vendor in the normal drop ship fashion and depending on the combination of items the PO would need to be shipped from the vendor’s stock instead of our “virtual” stock switching SO lines between Drop Ship and Shipping from our warehouse will be difficult.Has anyone done anything similar to this?

I just had to approve 40 AP bills for commitment retention release.  It would be nice to create one retention billing per vendor when AP retention is released, much like AR got a single retention billing.

I want to add more fields (in the red box) into the customization field, but I can’t figure out how to do it? What’s a way to do this?Where I want to add more fields 

Anyone know if it is possible to filter by the most recent record at the relationship level? For example: In the above join between the Customer and the CRActivity tables, is it possible to add a condition in the active relations to limit to the most recent record? I’m trying to get the last activity date, and I know I can group the records by the Customer ID and set the Aggregate Function to MAX on the results grid to display the last activity date, but that is causing some other unwanted issues with other calculated fields.

In Service Orders (or appointment's) I have found that when I add an item that has a new stock item + warehouse combination the Item Warehouse Detail for the new warehouse is not added to the stock item..This is causing it to not appear on my Prepare Replenishment screen.If I manually add the warehouse detail to the stock item, I will have to also have toggle the Override Replenishment Settings for the Replenishment Source & Replenishment Warehouse to load from the defaults outlined on the Stock Items screen.I hope this makes sense, I can provide screen shots if needed for more explanation.Acumatica 2023R2 Build 23.212.0024

Good,The issue is that when you create a quote with the same item number, say three times with different costs and then create the project the items are aggregated on one line.  (Operations has set a reduction protocol that reduces the the rate based on the amount of tools runs; 1st run at full price, 2nd run at half off, etc.)  I know I can make additional items numbers based on the protocol or make a discount code based on the rate.  We have over 10 different types of tools. The quote is provided to the customer based on the number runs.  This might change when the project begins either adding of deleting some. Questions,  How do I make the conversion to quote keep all the duplicate items on separate lines?  I don’t want them to aggregate.  Is this a billing rule?  Or Allocation update.  I am sort at a loss who to make Project Quote to Project conversion keep the lines separate without aggregating them.Thank you for your assistance.Evan

I was hoping someone could explain how to achieve this in leave approval scenario. Organisation has multiple teams. When an employee applies for leave, the notification should go to 2-3 senior members of the team although there will always a primary approver who is the manager/supervisor of the team. This is so that if tje manager is away someone else can be notified and action the leave approval/rejection. Subsequently when the approval/rejection is actioned all the people who were approvers would also get a notification verifying that it has been actioned. Is this configurable at all? 

Hi All,Currently we can GRN any amount at the purchase request other the quantity specified in the PO. It only displays a warning that we are GRNing a quantity higher than PO quantity. We need to restrict this to a percentage of 10% of PO at the receipts.Is there a way to do this (Using current settings) without going for a customization.Your valuable ideas are highly appreciated…Thanks in advance.  

I want to use the Default/Shipment API to create a shipment for a sales order line that isn’t due to ship yet. In the UI, this produces a warning on the SO line saying “Scheduled Shipment Date greater than Shipment Date”. See this topic for a description of the behavior:When this request is sent via API instead, the warning prevents the Shipment from being created. Is there a way to overcome this warning and save the Shipment anyway like you can in the UI?

Hi everyone, how come in the actual Sales Order we can put the status to WO Pending when removed from Hold but it doesn’t seem to show in any filters or parameters?  

On the Request form RQ301000, we would like to limit the number of characters in the RQRequestLine description field.  The default limit is 256.  Is there a relatively simple way to limit to 100 characters?

Hello,Not a C# developer, and very new to acumatica.Using the below code I was able to figure out how to add the CustomerOrderNbr and ShipmentNbr to the package ex custom reference nbr 1 & 2. The label is generated using the UPS Rest carrier.My issue is the the very lengthy prefix as seen in my attached image. How do I remove the custom reference prefixes “Reference No.1” and “Reference No.2”Also below is my code. Please let me know if I need to add anything like cache updating. I’ve read through a bunch of posts here and on Stack Overflow but haven’t found an answer that works.  I want to extend Customer with a form on a custom tab using a set of fields from a custom table, rather than the user field approach which will add fields to the BAccount table and thus the other entities that share that definition.  I created a custom table then a customization project with the DAC schema definition, extended screen AR.30.30.00 with a new tab, added a form to the tab, and then bound my view for the custom DAC to the form.  Now for starters, I want to make the tab conditionally visible on customer class ID using the RowSelected event.  Based on the T210 training, I assume I need to get a reference to the extension then set the tab to visible if it’s set to not visible generally.  I can’t seem to get the syntax correct for the extension variable.  I either get the CS0120 (Object reference required...) error or the CS0311 (Type...can’t be used as type ‘TNode’...) error

After inserting an image into a column, the gap between the column and the grid increased. Can I manually change the gap between them?   

Is there a way to do an excel upload of the exact SKU list of inventory IDs we wish to have counted? (that do not share the same ABC code, class, or otherwise – Just a literal list of which ids we wish to have counted)I have read around and seen articles on importing the sheets of the inventory count totals, how to set up inventory counts by code or class or warehouse – However, this is about uploading the actual list of requested specific SKUs to count.

Im trying to think of a creative way to get around an issue we currently have, we’re implementing having sales order confirmations as we load a customers order, but a range of products that we make show up on Back Order.To take a step back, its mainly things we have to either make or decant. For example, 5L of alcohol. We store it in 1000lt tanks, decant as needed. This is a specific for a lot of stains for pathology use. Internally we send a copy of this to the warehouse or lab to be made, then kit assembly to build the item > create shipment ready for a picking slip.There could be a delay here though, sometimes a few hours, sometimes a day or two.Very rarely do they actually goto back order by the time the sales order is invoiced. Majority of the items where it would happen are critical to the order the customer is placing, I don’t want them thinking there is a delay with these products.
