Question if we send the Latitude and Longitude to Avalara as we dont have the address (zip, state etc) to calculate Sales Text (feature added in 21R2) is it possible to get the address back from Avalara and populate to Acumatica along with the tax amounts

The Avalara documentation on their API is not specific, but it may be worth testing request with only long/lat to see if it gives you the response you are looking for

Request API: https://developer.avalara.com/communications/dev-guide_rest_v2/reference/geocode-requests/
Response API: https://developer.avalara.com/communications/dev-guide_rest_v2/reference/geocode-result/

If you can’t get to the bottom of this I can try to find out more through my Avalara contacts and/or have my dev team test this on one of our APIs.

Thanks,

@dcomerford - How did you get Acumatica to send only GPS Coordinates to Avalara?  We only ever have GPS coordinates for our locations, and we are struggling with an Acumatica error telling us we need more address information.
