Hi,My mater financial calendar is designed in a way that start and end is not according to the general calendar. Example is as below. And I’m setting up fixed assets and when creating a fixed asset with acquisition date 27/10/2021  it gives me below error. “ FA Error: The document cannot be released, because the 05-2022 period in the posting book does not match the financial period in the general ledger for the SFT company. To amend the periods in the posting book based on the periods in the general ledger, on the Book Calendars (FA304000) form, click Synchronize FA Calendar with GL.” Then I tried the process but it gives me below error. Can you please anyone help me with this? Thank you,Dulanjana

User Role merging…..We have 53 roles mapped to AD Users - unfortunately each user has upwards of 15 roles and they obviously overlap; these haven’t been managed well and it’s time to take care of them; I would like to get this down to 15 roles, 3 or 4 roles per dept for base user, super user or manager and nothing overlapping. Therefore, each user only has one role.Does anyone know of an easy way to download the access rights from each role so that it shows individual field level access. I’m fully aware we have some user roles where field level access/blocks have been put in place; due to external tax providers and such.I’ve looked at this article: Importing Acumatica User Roles / User Security Permissions from Excel • Everything Else • Acumatica User Group Forums and this community forum Access Rights Update via Import Scenario | Community but it’s not any clearer on how to get the field level access downloaded to prepare for import scenario.

Looking for a Payables solution to be able to see Status change history for the AP Invoice records. We’ve explored the Audit History and the accessibility is a bit clunky and hard to read through for general users.Has anyone has found or built any solutions to better track these changes and/or report on them?Our primary goal would be to see date/time of changed status and user who made the change. The use case being, we have a lot of invoices that require Approvers to make changes to the invoice distribution coding, requiring them to put toggling the invoice status and resetting the Approval request record.Alternatively, if I could figure out how to access the Audit History key table for Events I figure I could find a way to report on that data through a GI, but I can’t find where in the DAC that information lives or how to access it.Screen SM205530 Audit History; Events table with desired info, but cannot determine DAC source.Appreciate any and all help. Hi All,Wanted to get some help on figuring out why my automation schedule is not firing as intended. We are using the schedule to trigger a business event, triggering daily every 5 minutes. It basically checks an existing GI for any records and triggers and import against the return. As you can see from the screenshot, last executed date was on 6/20/2025, it is 7/4/2025 today.I’ve tried manually triggering the import, and it works perfectly.  

Hello! I am running into this error when trying to process a payment for a prepayment invoice.I tried looking everywhere but I cant find what the below is referencing. I thought it was the Prepayment GL Account on either the customer class or customer profile, but neither were able to get rid of the following error. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you!

I have a client who wants their monthly invoices sent to one email as an excel and another email as a PDF. I’ve tried to set this up on their Customer profile but it isn’t working - only the Excels are being received. What am I missing here?

Hi,I'm noticing that, in order for me to select a project on the SO screen, the project has to be associated with the same customer that the SO is associated with. Is there a way to circumvent this restriction?My company uses the word “Project” to refer to a brand or end user (e.g., Chipotle, Cava). Oftentimes, the end users use distributors who buy items from us and then distribute those items to the end user. So, our customer is the distributor, not the end user. In situations when a distributor is servicing an end user, it’s often the case that multiple distributors are servicing that same end user.The way I’d like to represent this in Acumatica:Create a “Chipotle” project. When we create an SO selling Chipotle items, we select the “Chipotle” project on the SO.The only way I can see this being possible is if I create a “Chipotle” project for every one of Chipotle’s distributors. Anybody familiar with this error? I added 3 statuses before planned status on the production order maintenance screen through the workflow editor (no code).Everything works well except I can’t delete the production order when in one of the 3 newly created statuses as well as the events table does not populate with order changes. Trying to delete presents the error in the screenshot below. When moving from “On Hold” status to one of these new statuses the events table states that the order moved from “On Hold” to “Unknown” rather than “On Hold” to “Initialized.”Anybody know how to fix this “Unknown Status” issue?  

Is there any way we can find/search shipments by an inventory ID? Or look at the transaction history (including shipments and purchases) for a certain stock item?A picking worksheet got lost and we are having a hard time locating the shipment in the system. How to implement restriction groups in GI?We have set up Customers restrictions by salesperson. We need restrict sales data visibility to only assigned customers to each salesperson. 

 Hello Community, I have a Custom Processing Screen, the sole purpose of which is to assign a BOL Number (a Non-Key Field) to any Sales Order Shipments without a BOL Number:    The Custom Field, as it is established in my Processing Screen’s Filter  I’m trying to do so by utilizing a Numbering Sequence that I have tied to the Sales Order Preference screen:      The Problem: when I use my custom Assign BOL Number processing screen, it doesn’t assign the Last Number -- it assigns the Numbering Sequence Symbol (<NEW>). I have tried so many alternate ways based on other Community posts -- even my own attempts (I.E. [AutoNumber(typeof(SOSetupExt.usrcbolno), typeof(NumberingSequence.lastNbr))] ) but it keeps pulling the Numbering Sequence’s Symbol -- not the Last Number. How can I utilize my Numbering Sequence for my Custom Processing Screen? Any and all help is much appreciated!

Hi!I have a specific scenario in MultiCompany/Branch environment related to access rights.Our customer has 3 different stores and each store has a warehouse related. A user of one store should only have access to warehouse inventory from another store but it should not be able to work in other branch than the one that has been assigned. I dont see a feature that could help me with this (access roles, restriction groups, restrict visibility). Does anyone have a configuration like this? Thanks.

Hi CommunityI have ha this issue before but I cannot remember how I resolved it.Client wants to reverse application on a payment but cannot release the document. It gives the error “The document is out of the balance.”They do not want to allocate another invoice immediately.Please remind me of the solution.regards 

We are trying to reverse a payment application on an AP Bill through Checks and Payments on the Application History tab. We get an error of “SO Error:  the document is out of balance”. Any idea why? The “Reverse Application” works fine on the AR side, but it is not working on our AP side.Thanks!

I am trying to approve a time off request but I see the Insufficient stack error:  I also see it when I try to enter my time in the Activities tab for a project. This occurred after we upgraded to 2024 R2. I tried to reset the caches and restart the website but nothing, what could resolve this error?. Thank you again

If a sales order item only has a single price and not a calculation procedure used to determine the net price, how would you calculate sales tax on an alternate amount?  One of our companies sells products at wholesale to independent contractors who in turn sell those products at retail to end customers.  The company is responsible for calculating, reporting, and remitting sales tax on the order item that was sold to the contractor, BUT that sales tax is calculated on the retail price of the item, not the wholesale price.  That’s a very easy task in our current ERP, which can have any number of “statistical” pricing conditions on the order item pricing procedure.  I’m not able to picture how that would work in Acumatica.  Thanks.

Hello all,The below is a follow up question re the below post.With ​@andriitkachenko help I have almost completed a derived class on “EPApprovalAutomation”. Now I am going to call it in “APInvoiceEntry” graph extension. It works as expected if in the Approval Maps screen (EP205015) the “Reason for Approval” and/or “Reason for Rejection” is set to “Is Not Prompted”. As soon as I set their value to either “Is Required” or “Is Optional” that requires the engine to display the “Enter Reason” dialog, I get this error that “Error: A dialog cannot be requested”.I tested the “Reassign” that also displays dialog too but this works fine (Acumatica base code added the Approve/Reject actions through the workflow extensions but Reassign action is added in the EPApprovalAutomation class though)I thought maybe the derived class initialization override causes issue and spent quite bit of time on it but couldn’t find anything wrong with the Derived class. So I commented the full class as it doesn’t exi
