Email Account Error : The mail receive has failed. User is authenticated but not connected.

When I attempt to click on ‘Test’, an error message appears. Could someone please explain the cause of this error and how it can be rectified?

Even after signing in to both the external application and the email account, we are still encountering the same error.

Have you confirmed IMAP is enabled (assuming that’s the protocol you’re using)?

@irudhayaraj41 What is the error you are facing at external application -Sign in? Can you share screenshots when you click on sign in?

The issue was related to IMAP, and it has now been resolved. Many thanks to ​@darylbowman  for the help and to ​@mohammadnawaz51 for the follow-up message.
