Hi. Under Canadian taxes, after the tax report has been prepared and release, the system creates a debit adjustment. The reason might be because the Net tax amount is negative. Because you know usually, AP bill will be created containing the total tax amount to be paid. As for this debit adjustment, should it be closed normally by applying it to a bill that of course I’ll have to manually create first. I just want to confirm. Thanks in advance. 

When a GL account is assigned to an account group, the GL account will be required to have a project associated with it. Some forms do not allow for project number input which prevents use of that form. For instance, attempting to utilize the create adjustment tab in the reconciliation statements is not possible because the quick transaction screen does not allow the user to input a project number (there is no project field available.) Other areas where this is a problem for companies that utilize projects is in the fixed assets module and in the allocator process.

Hi Everyone. One of our dedicated customer have 200+ branches.  AP Bill generating individually, according to the branches.  Customer will process payment from “Prepare Payment” Screen, can only select the branches only.  As per their current  practice they will do prepare payment by company not by branches.  At one-time payment process for 20-25 vendors. Its very difficult to do from the screen. Is there any other work around or suggestion, please let me know.   Many Thanks Ram 

My company recently switched from Sage 300 to Acumatica. Acumatica is far superior, however, Sage 300 had a feature I liked to use that is missing from Acumatica. Provisional posting. I would like to see this added.

Is there a limit on the number of branches you can have per company?  If so, what is the limit? Thank you.

Hi, upon checking the inventory transaction history, I have 100qty in with unit cost 133.69190. However, the next 12qty out becomes 133.69167. And the subsequent issue out unit cost becomes 133.69000. I thought if based on FIFO, the issue out cost should also be 133.69190, but value turns out to be different in the screenshot. Anyone can advise how the system calculates the 133.69167 and 133.69000 if my inventory valuation method is FIFO? Thanks alot! 

Hello everyone, I'm working with a company that has 2 "companies" and several branches. One of the companies year end is October, the other is December. Is it possible, with core financials in Acumatica, to set these companies in the same tenant? I am thinking this might be an issue or I might be missing something.  Thanks

My client recently began using AP Approvals. Specifically, they added an AP Approval Map to the AP Preferences form under the Approval tab and activated it.  Since doing so, when an AP Bill is entered and saved and taken off hold, it moves to a Balanced status as normal.  However, we’ve noticed that they are no longer able to add new lines to the Bill, change dates or vendor locations, etc….all things that can normally be done for a Balanced AP Bill.If we deactivate the approval map on AP Preferences, we can go back to the same Bill whose fields were greyed out and no lines could be added or changed or deleted, put it on hold, then take it back off hold, and now all those fields are available for editing again and new lines can be added, etc.If we reactivate the approval map and do the same thing - put the Bill on hold and then take it off hold again - we are back to the fields being greyed out and no lines changes are allowed.If it matters, this Bill is not sub

Hello Team, We are trying to setup one Bank Rule that will cover restaurants (McDonald’s, Subway, Burger King etc).However, we have been testing it, and it looks like we cannot add more than one single word when either implementing a Wildcard or a Match Case. On my screenshot below, I am trying to create a rule that will cover both Netflix and McDonald’s. The wildcard works for Netflix, as the transaction gets matched. However, the moment I add  “ , McDo* ” the rule breaks and does not end up matching Netflix at all.  Has anyone tried implementing this kind of rule? Does anyone know if it is possible? Just trying to get it to work like QuickBooks as they offer a “keyword” section for their rules. Thanks!

Hi! I made some error upon creating cash account. I have made the Accounts Receivable as cash account. Is there any workaround for this? System says that I can no longer delete the cash account and change it, as there is already GL transactions made prior to creation of Cash account. Highlighted in yellow is the wrong account entered.

Hi people,I need to migrate Customer Payment Method from on Payment Method to another, although I can’t basically modify the existing one, I need to create new ones, to keep track. This is because we are implementing new Processing Centers (Plug-in).For that we have a csv/xlsx file with the records. In the file one of the columns is PMInstanceID of Customer Payment Method (CPM).So then, what I am thinking is to find the existing CPM, copy it, insert a new, and past.For the new record a need to modify 2 fields, I mean from the existing one (Payment Method and Processing Center).Also I need to copy and past Customer Payment Method Detail, which I need to modify the Value field.And to finalize, I need to modify the existing record to set is as “Migrate”.I’m trying to do something like this:

I think this may be a bug in the system so I wanted to throw it out there in case anyone ever runs across it. We have had it happen to a client twice and I finally figured out what it is. The transaction itself will be set to a certain period, but the detail lines of the transaction get posted to a different period. How I have seen this happen:The client has “Restrict Access to Closed Periods” selected The previous periods are closed Client enters a transaction for a previous period and gets the warning message In our case, they were fixing a transaction so they reversed a transaction We go in and Uncheck “Restrict Access to Closed Periods” and open the periods The client posts the transaction they createdWe realized there was an issue when they ran financials and the changes were not appearing in the historical month and instead appeared in the first open period. Hi Everyone,I was trying to track all the deleted records on my request primary list. Using generic inquiry. I also enable the “Show deleted records” and yet upon adding on the results grid. I can't add the field name DeletedDatabaseRecord. Is there a way in which the body of the Invoice notification can be changed depending on whether the document is an invoice or a credit memo?I am able to use the ‘type’ field where applicable (subject etc.), but the wording in the body of the invoice differs from that in the credit note:‘Please remit payment….’ for invoice.‘If you have any …..’ for credit memo. 

I am trying to make a Shared filter for open orders where the order type is one of these: (RA, RB, RE, RI, RS)I have tried many combinations of And/Or but I’m still seeing sales orders with type “SO” in my results.What is the correct way to use these operators? They are not in the documentation.  

In our system setup the Employee Time Cards do not generate GL batch, only Project Transaction.We have a situation where duplicated time cards were released and two transactions booked at the project.Question is how to delete one of the transactions to eliminate the double cost allocation?-Reverse button is inactive because GL batch is not generated (which is expected as mentioned before)-Delete button is inactive because transaction is with Released status

Hi, we are adding a new subsidiary in the system and need to upload the open GL balance of both income statement and balance sheet. Is there any step by step guide that we can follow?
