On the payments and applications screen, type is customer refund and apply to documents of type prepayment, I’m unable to add finance charges. May I know what’s the logic behind where finance charges option is disabled for customer refund? And also, how can I process the finance charges?

Hi - does anyone have any recommendations for a UK based Acumatica consultant who can help on UK VAT set up?

I work for a mid size logistics brokerage. A large portion of our business involves outsourcing freight from owner/operators. We use a handful of GL accounts to keep certain charges due to these haulers separate. However, most of these are all 1099 NEC expenses.  How do I set up 1099 defaults so that a bill generated for any of these GL accounts auto-populate the same 1099 box without updating each vendor or each bill individually?

Is anyone using the bank reconciliation feature in Acuamtica?  We are having an issue getting the debit detail.  The credits are itemized in the batch payment export but the debit is one lump sum.  The bank is unable to provide us a detailed debit report for us to use to reconcile. How can we export the debit transactions?

We would like to see Gross Profit percentages (COGS/Revenue) for the three divisions of our company. I have been able to set this up in the row set, but in our period and YTD variance columns I do not want see the percentages. Is this possible? I am fairly new to configuring reports so I apologize if this is a simple answer! 

Hi everyone, I want to create a GI to look at where our cash is going. My first attempt was to start with CATran and join GLTran, then to join GLTran on itself with just the BatchNbr. I thought this would return all rows for all batches that involve the cash account.Has anyone done something like this before? So far, it appears I may need an SQL nested view… would love it if there was another way. Hello,         Previously, our AP staff pay vendor 1 by 1 by printing checks.Now, the boss(The AP admin) would like to transfer the money (actually pay vendor) on his own in bank online system. But the AP staff should also take the resposiblity to verify the bill qty, price and total.         So the workflow should be like below:1, AP stafff verify bill total and mark them as “verified/paid/closed” and complete the bills payment in Acumatica system.2, AP admin get a list to operate in bank online system. We issued a P.O for $10.000.00 to purchase Raw materials.  P.O has lead time of 45 days. 30 days for production and 15 days transit time. We have to pay advance 50% to the Vender with P.O.We pay next 25% when the order is ready to ship. (Within 30 days)We release remaining 25% before accepting shipment in our dock. How can I record these transactions inside accumatica liked with a P.O and adjust with accruals when the products are received?  Thank you,SB

Can someone please tell me the value of the non-stock item feature. I am new to Acumatica and have seen on our system many non-stock items being set up for equipment such as desks and tables, actually broken down into their features, which are being purchased to set up as part of the set up of a new business. I imagine these are on-off purchases and I am struggling to see the point in creating any part numbers at all...why not just use the nominal (general ledger) code and the description. I kind of get it for labour and purchases you may be making frequently but otherwise I am not sure what the value is?Thanks in advance

How do we process bank transaction/matching of customer prepayment against sales order?Eg: We enter SO awaiting for payment, customer paid through the bank, and we want to match the payment to SO it relates to.  

When using the incoming documents screen & recognizing documents. We are not able to modify the Post Period until the document is created. Our Financial Supervisor (Access role), is the one who handles incoming documents so it is somewhat problematic to change on the Document level (increased risk of error). Ideally we could modify the post period on the Incoming Documents level instead of the document being automatically created in a closed period. Any Ideas on how to bypass this?

Hello,I am trying to expire Sales Price worksheets created for customer classes and can’t seem to work out a solution to complete this in bulk / mass. I  tried to create a GI then use the Mass update function, however no fields are brought across from the AR202000 screen. I also wondered about an import scenario, however haven’t had any luck in creating one of these that updates the field. Unfortunately, it is not as simple as creating a new sales price worksheet as we plan to move away from using this in our tenant. Any tips on the above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Matt

Good morning, I thought I would reach out to see if anyone is manually processing Amazon payments, and specifically how are you handling the Monthly Reserve withholding and subsequent release in the following month? Since each has an impact on the payment amount how are you applying those to payments?

With regard to employee expense payments, you can allow ACH payments to the employees by defining the ACH payment under Financial Settings on the Employee record in Configuration.  This is not an area you want the employee to access on their own, and not something you want to open to the AP department to keep updated.  It would be nice if the employee could choose their expense reimbursement method (if allowed), check or ACH, and allow them to maintain their own bank information for ACH payments.  That way they can also be responsible for upkeep if they change a bank account, etc.  This is obviously something that would need to be secure.

Hi guys,I tried to run project billing and generate an invoice, but it cannot be released and the error seems confusing (see below). Could anyone please tell me where’s possibly wrong? I don’t know what “objective reference” is and why it has anything to do with “field Branch ID”. Thanks! 

I have created a cash deposit with 5 credit card transactions in it.During reconciliation, I realized that I was looking at the wrong total and I had to void the cash deposit.  When I voided, it only voided 4 transactions, I cannot create another deposit, 5th transaction is not available to use, basically it’s locked. This is holding my BR from April.  Any idea how to address this?  Thank youSB

How can we limit the access of some vendors and P.Os related to the vendor?  

HiIs there anyway to check an uploaded budget BEFORE releasing against the Account/Subaccount combination. Basically run a P&L but on unreleased budget information.I would prefer Velixo but any inbuilt report would be fine.I have loaded some 15 unique branch budgets I want to check them before releasing on mass (as it will  save hours of error correction)Ideas?Cheers

HelloI’ve released a budget (in a ledger called FORECST) but now wish to replace this entirely.Can I simply load this via an Excel import and it will replace everything?Or can I load a zero budget and then load the correct values?Thanks

Has anyone been successful in implementing AP Document Recognition in a Production Environment on Premise or on Microsoft Azure?What about on AWS?In an On Premise instance the Incoming Documents screen is not “remembering” the user mapping for detail lines and in order for the Vendor to be “remembered” the vendor record must be manually edited. (2020 R2 Build 20.204.0031) In a Microsoft Azure instance the Incoming Documents screen is not “remembering” the Vendor or user mapping for detail lines. (2021 R1 Build 21.102.0070)

We are experiencing the following erorr, was wondering is someone would be able to help, ill exaplin the steps we did:A PO was entered to the wrong item code, and we had to reverse the PO and the bill that was entered to it.I sent a prepayment of 50% the PO on a check. Once we had to send the remaining balance, I went in to the PO to receive it, from there created an AP bill. once I created the bill the prepayment we had sent before, automatically applied to the bill leaving only the remaining balance for payment due.When doing the return of the PO (to reverse it out and close out) I did a return on the PO receipt which created a return receipt.Once a return is created on a PO receipt, it gives the option to create a debit adjustment. Debit adjustment was created.I then went to void the check so that the prepayment can open back up and I can apply the debit adjustment to close out the bill.I voided it but it stayed in balanced status and wou

Hello,I have successfully created and used multiple group discount codes on a sales order.However, these are only printed as 1 “discount” on the sales order.  You can see each individual one in the Sales Order screen.  If a customization is required, can anyone point me in the right direction for what tables to utilize? They do not print at all on the invoice, the total is just different without printing anything saying why. On a different but related note, is it possible within a GI or report to show the discount amount given for Discount Code “XXX” for a given date range?  I don’t see any available reporting for discount codes. If it needs to be a custom report, can anyone point me to the correct tables? Thanks!

How do you determine the amount of your inventory sold versus unsold?

Since we have one Cash Account that uses over a dozen different Payment Methods (over a dozen corporate credit cards), a filter or column needs to be added so the Payment Method (credit card) used for each transaction is shown.Right now, it is very difficult to reconcile (Reconciliation Statements) or see what Checks or Quick Checks have already been entered (Cash Account Details) because the one credit card statement has separate sections for each each employee’s credit card purchases but the the transactions for the Cash Account are all mixed together without any way to see which Payment Method (credit card) was used.
