Happy Friday,

We are currently experiencing an interesting issue that the Freight and Freight Subaccount is not pulling in from the Default Customer Location (which pulled it from the customer class/customer).

Here the Default Location:

Here the New Location with the Checkbox same as Default marked:

Not quite sure where I would find a setting or how would troubleshoot this.
Cannot find anything in Receivables, Sales Order or CRM Preferences.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Hi @krausef77

In Standard Acumatica, we dont see that option to Pull the freight account and sub account for new customer.

Freight charges will be posting to sales account.

Freight Account An income account to record freight charges applicable to sales orders associated with this customer location.

Why do we have the option to select Same as Default Location, yet not all of the Accounts specified on the Default location are pulling through?

Our customer is relying on the location to get the right Freight Subaccount, yet the Setup is tedious if the Defaulting functionality is not working.

Do you know of any (hopefully simple) workarounds?

Hi @krausef77

I have checked the form reference help documentation for Customer Location screen (ScreenId=AR303020). Documentation is not explicitly mentioning if only selected GL accounts are copied from ‘Default’ location.
